About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets since a young age, including raising guide dog puppies with my family. I’ve since owned dogs, cats, rodents, lizards, frogs, spiders, and fish so I can tackle many needs. I’m well-versed in basic pet first aid and dietary needs (having worked at a specialty pet shop that made its own healthy gourmet pet treats for several years). My own dogs have included a registered and trained therapy dog as well as my current rescue dog who I’ve trained through his struggles with anxiety and reactivity. He and I love outdoor adventures and being active! I’ve fostered over 20 dogs and cats through shelters of all shapes, sizes, and ages and can’t get enough. I’d love to get to know your pet and all their unique quirks! I’m a teacher, so my schedule is wide open during the summers and school holidays. During the school year, I’m free after 3PM weekdays and anytime on the weekends. I’m very conscious of pet health and wellbeing. Their leashes, litter and food must be provided with pickup/drop-off (If certain things aren’t attainable due to just getting to the island I can get them myself as long as the money is provided) Dogs— I have a back patio that they would be in the shade, a yard that they can play in and I will take them on multiple walks throughout the day and they’d get plenty of play time. Cats— I have two friendly cats myself, but if your cat would prefer to be by themselves I have a spare bedroom, litter box and cat tower they can use.

About: Trained with large dogs and no problems with little ones. I’ve cared for cats, birds, reptiles and more. I love taking walks and playing fetch. I also know how to give medications and care for elderly dogs as well. I love animals, especially dogs and appreciate being able to help them. I’m available daily for walks, feeding or check in’s every day of the week. I have a decently sized yard that is totally fenced in, even for little dogs. I have an attached garage as well as numerous baby gates. I have my own vehicle and I’m skilled at caring for others homes as well.

“Let me first preface with there's not enough good things to say about our experience with Ashley! She deserves more than 5 Stars! Suffice to say, we have found a permanent boarder for our Husky, Hana! Quick, efficient and detailed updates and correspondence with plenty of photos. Our puppy Hana, is a delicate flower, very timid and practically scared of her own shadow when around strangers or in public, but it was in her stars to have someone like Ashley whom gave her the compassionate, loving care she needs. It's obvious the experience was exceptionally good for her, as she has matured so fast in just 2 weeks of boarding. We have to be thankful as well of Ashley's fur-baby Apollo, as having a grown husky to show our pup the ropes has helped her come out of her shell further. Ashley then went a step further with follow up correspondence to ensure Hana had a nice transition back home. We're so thankful, Mahalo nui loa!”
