About: Animals have always been a part of my life, and I can’t imagine a home without them. I’ve personally owned and cared for several dogs over the years (including both puppies and rescues) as well as a cat, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. In addition to my personal experience, I worked at a family-owned dog grooming salon as a dog bather. There, I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. My responsibilities included bathing, brushing, deshedding, dematting, and nail trimming/grinding. That experience helped me become confident handling dogs safely, reading body language, and making sure each pet felt as comfortable as possible. While I’m not a certified groomer or trainer, I’ve had a lot of hands-on experience and truly enjoy working with animals. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, overnight care, or boarding, I treat every pet like they’re my own and aim to give them a safe, calm, and loving environment while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give each pet the attention they deserve. I care for every pet as if they were my own by following their usual routine, providing plenty of love, playtime, exercise, fresh water, and meals. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

As a pit-mix they need to be walked so they can sniff everything. Kaitlyn followed my lead on using the snacks in the puzzle toys to break up the boredom that Pit's can get if not stimulated. She was a great dog-sitter.”

“Tanya and her family cared for our senior and special needs doggies with the utmost care and concern. We were blessed to have got her as our sitter, we did a two night trial run to see if the doggies would adapt to their new boarding environment. From all the photos and conversations with Tanya the outcome was great and most of all very positive, so positive that we will be leaving them with her next month as we plan to go on a 1 week vacation which was long time in coming (3 years). Even when I picked her up, Karma seemed so happy but also worn out from all the playing so I know she was well taken care of. Another great sign is that Karma didn’t come back itchy!! She has skin and food allergies so that means Samantha was good about sticking to her diet and there was nothing around to irritate Karmas skin. Absolutely love!!! Thanks again!”
