“Our pup had such an amazing time with Julie and her family! From the moment we arrived, Chiko felt right at home and quickly became part of the family. He loved playing with their two doodles, Chase and Rusty, and even got to meet their goats, pigs, chickens, and play with their kiddos. Their fully fenced yard (many acres) was perfect for safe playtime and gave us extra peace of mind. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. We are so grateful to Julie and her family for the wonderful care they gave our pup, and we can’t wait for him to stay with them again. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!

About: Hi, I’m Maggie! I’ve had dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. I have lived on a farm surrounded by dogs, horses, and cats, which gave me years of hands on experience caring for animals of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. After losing my beloved German Shepherd, I began fostering others through rescues. A journey that’s been both healing and incredibly rewarding. It’s deepened my understanding of different temperaments, training needs, and the importance of patience, structure, and gentle consistency. About: I am an animal lover. I have pets of my own of all kinds. My kids love animals. I can give medication as I had a pet with seizures. Only dogs, will not give medicine to cats. I do have three kids. Ages 4 year old , 6 year and a 8 year old. All were raised around animals no issues. No allergies. I do have cats in home that have their own room so can easily be separated, I own two dogs but they are outside fenced in dogs. Will not interact with any animal I watch. We are looking forward to loving on your fur babies !! I am a full time mom so my schedule is very flexible. I do not have a “paying job” besides side work. I do DoorDash as well but i can set my own times! I can easily crate dogs if needed. They are more then welcomed to roam my house as well. Outside potty will be on a leash as I live close to a road.

About: I’ve helped take care of my dogs at home since I was 6, taken care of my neighbors animals since I was 12, and I volunteer at an animal shelter in my free time here at my university. About: I've taken care of friends and families pets for 3 years. Comfortable and used to all sizes of dogs and breeds. Comfortable with kitties. Also completely ok with smaller "cage" pets (mice, ferrets, guines pigs, hamsters, etc.) I currently work part time Wednesday-Friday 9-2. But am available to go care for your pets before work, and of course hours after work as well up to 3 times a day. Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays I am completely open to whatever schedule im needed for your pets care. About: I have been in the industry since I was 15 years old!! I have always loved all animals and especially love dogs and horses. I have worked at vets, boarding facilities, breeders, and have owned dogs big and small my whole life! Your pups will be so loved while they are with me!! I also have trained all of my pups myself :) I am a teacher, so during the year I get up early to spend time with the pups and let them play and do their business. I set them up for the day and then when I get back at 3 they are let out again and it’s play time!! I have breaks and summers off which also helps with my schedule as well! I have a fenced in yard with 3 pups who are my pride and joy!! They love everyone and there ages range from 1-8 years old!! We are crating our one year old but the rest of the pups are so well behaved that they have free roam of the house! My goal is to make them feel loved and comfortable!! They all have access to dog beds or the couch and a basket of toys available for them to play with with each other or us!! We also love to take walks and play in the back yard for hour!! They have a set dinner time also.

“Our pup had such an amazing time with Julie and her family! From the moment we arrived, Chiko felt right at home and quickly became part of the family. He loved playing with their two doodles, Chase and Rusty, and even got to meet their goats, pigs, chickens, and play with their kiddos. Their fully fenced yard (many acres) was perfect for safe playtime and gave us extra peace of mind. Julie went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable leaving him, especially since Chiko is deaf and uses a special collar. She took the time to learn how to communicate with him, which gave us such reassurance. We loved the adorable photo updates throughout his stay, and when we picked him up, he was one happy (and tired!) pup who fell right asleep as soon as we got home. We are so grateful to Julie and her family for the wonderful care they gave our pup, and we can’t wait for him to stay with them again. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve always had dogs at home, up to three at once! Most all raised and trained from puppy stages. I had a disabled dog recently who lost usage of her back legs and was incompetent. She required lots of help and being carried around but was a sweetheart. Currently I have eight geckos as well as two snakes, a skink, two cats (mostly outdoor) and one dog. My dogs name is Luna, she’s almost two years old, deaf and mentally special but as friendly as can be! (Several rooms for separation of my dog if needed as well as my crate. So far she gets along well with others) My current weekly routine is as follows: Monday: Feed Cats and Dog x2, feed and mist geckos Tuesday: Feed cats and dog x2 Wednesday: Feed cats and dogs x2, feed and mist geckos, feed skink, feed hognose Thursday: Feed cats and dog x2 Friday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed and most geckos Saturday: Feed cats and dog x2, feed skink Sunday: Feed cats and dog x2 Feed and mist geckos Saturday I go out about every hour and a half for potty breaks. I do not have a fence but I have a large pasture as well as lots of leads. I’m willing to walk for hours with your pet on a leash! I have one friendly pup to keep yours company and I have a spare room. I have the ability to crate my dog and space for a crate for yours if provided. We go out after every food and water break, get lots of cuddles and extra play time!

About: Growing up, we always had a pet in the home, and I was raised under the belief that our pets are members of the family. I have extensive experience living and caring for both dogs and cats, and I welcome the opportunity to look after your pooch or kitty! I work full-time at the Gilmer County Courthouse, but my schedule is fairly flexible throughout the week. Of course, on weekends I’m even more flexible. I usually prefer house sitting (but am open for dog walking and drop-in visits, as well as boarding) for folks and make sure to read any provided instructions multiple times!
