About: I grew up with a sweet dachshund and have been a dog-lover ever since! Andrew and I both work from home full time, and that makes us the go-to pet sitter for neighbors and friends. We’ve had experience with both active dogs and those that might need a little more care and patience. We love having a new friend around to keep us company! I try to do meet and greets during the evening so I can see your pets dinner routine and have them be comfortable with me around their food. I am wary of last-minute bookings. I need a week’s notice. Attempting to contact me after 10:30 pm will be delayed as I will be on do not disturb until 8:30 am as that is my personal time. Also, I am getting into working a regular day job to cover what Rover cannot plus insurance so my working hours for Rover will be more set to house settings in the evenings where I can be gone during the day as much as I would need the business. I would say if you have a small dog that needs frequent bathroom brakes you will want to look elsewhere because I will not be able to do consistent afternoon breaks during the weekdays. Weekends should be fine and can proceed as normal. I do not board in my home. I have my folks I live with and they aren’t comfortable with bringing other pets into the house as they have their own pets and they take care of mine when I take care of others. I have no problem with house sitting for you or drop ins. But if you need boarding or doggy daycare, I recommend finding someone else who offers those services.

About: Animal care has always been second hand nature to me. I have had dogs as little as a snow white Maltese Puddle and a brown and black yorkie to something as big a red nose Pitbull and a German Sheperd Pharaoh Hound mix. But my dog sleeps with me, is allowed on the couch and usually gets multiple walks on my off days and longer walks on work days. I let her free feed, one scoop in the morning that she is free to snack on throughout the day. If its finished before 5/6pm she gets a half scoop. I also give her daily vitamins, dental bones and treats. Lots of love and spoiling. But when it comes to in the clients home there rules for the pet(s) are my rules for the pet(s)

I have owned more dogs and cats (as well as a ferret, lizard, fish, and a spider and have handled various others) than I can count through the years (I'm almost 40 and we've had a LOT!). Everything from domestic shorthair to Bengal-mix and Schnauzers to German Shepherds. I have house-sat for both friends and family for many years (short and extended!) and I have administered medicine in pill form, as well as inhaler (would be willing to learn injections if necessary). Our oldest cats have lived 18 years, and I currently own four cats (all rescues, aged 2 to 16). Our oldest dogs have lived 15+ I believe, but it's been a long time since owning one (my parents are disabled). I have done a bit of training with dogs and cats alike, but I am not a professional. I'm HIGHLY flexible, so if you would like to know more, feel free to reach out! If you've made it this far, have a lovely day! ♡ I'm available at a moments' notice the majority of the time! This includes overnights, emergencies, and short/extended stays. As long as there is clear communication, I'll do my best to aid in any situation, even if it's within the hour! ♡ For our own cats, our oldest, Max, has to be fed separately from the others, as he needs a higher calorie diet than the others. All of the cats are treated with flea medication and I clean multiple litter boxes several times a week. For friends and family, I have had feeding schedules for both dogs and cats, ranging from custom mixed and weighed portions to simply making sure the auto-feeders/fountains are kept clean and filled. My best friend's dog gets playtime and outside time (he has a runner and a ton of toys to play fetch with). My Aunt's cat would need constant watch, as he needed an inhaler if he walked too far or his anxiety flared. I'm also open to doing light chores, so feel free to reach out with any and all questions! “I had never used Rover until this time. A friend suggested it to me and when I looked into it, I was overwhelmed with the amount of people that do this. I read reviews, and Amanda seemed to stand out to me. I contacted her and we did a meet and greet. I knew that my fur baby would be well taken care of. While we were on our trip, Amanda sent me numerous pictures and videos and it was obvious that my dog was having a great time. Amanda treated her like her own, which gave me tremendous relief while being on vacation. I can not express enough gratitude for her and would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter, although she is much more than that! Thank you again Amanda and I will certainly be using you in the future!!”

“My 14-year-old dog, Kobe, has Cushing’s disease and needs medication twice a day, along with a little extra care and attention. Maximo seemed very comfortable administering Kobe’s medication and caring for him during my six days away. He kept in touch throughout the stay and was always available to answer my questions, which gave me peace of mind. It’s clear that Maximo takes his responsibilities seriously, and I’m grateful for the care he gave Kobe. I plan to ask him to keep Kobe again in October!”
“Where can I start! I just love how Ms. Bella takes such good care of my Daisy Mae. Daisy visit this time was around 14 days and I didn’t worry about her not 1 day. I was able to vacation knowing that she would be well cared for! She sent me the cutest pictures, and it made me smile. When I picked her up she smelled so good. Ms. Bella lives about an hour from me and when I say it’s worth the drive. I will drive my Daisy Mae to her anytime because the peace of mind I have when she is there is priceless!
