About: Don’t get me wrong! I love dogs too, but I definitely have an obsession with cats. I’ve raised and taken care of cats since I was 8 years old. I grew up with multiple cats our home and have gone on to care for numerous others as an adult. I currently have two babies of my own, Rambo and Sweetpea. As much as I love a snuggly cat I know not all cats are as friendly and know how to deal with more difficult cat personalities when encountered. About: I have had dogs since I was 11, fostered dogs all through college, and currently have two dogs of my own. When fostering dogs I worked with all ages and breed mixes, from 6 week old puppies to senior dogs, dogs that needed basic training to dogs that had mild behavioral issues that required work before adopting them out. Now I have two dogs, a miniature schnauzer and an Australian Shepherd, who have helped me become an even more well rounded pet caregiver. I am more than willing to incorporate small, fun training sessions into walks to work on anything that might need work. Through my experience working with wildlife and with my own special needs dog I have had to administer many different types of medication, pill and injectable, and as extremely comfortable doing this if needed. I have also had cats in the past and am comfortable with their care needs as well. I have watched birds and I personally keep fish so I can take care of any small/exotic animals as well. Currently I am in Dallas on the weekends and will be moving here full time at the end of May. I am available all day on Saturdays until then for any walks or potty breaks your dog may need. Over the summer I will be available any day with the exception of Wednesdays and Sundays. I am more than capable of following any routines and instructions left for caring for your pet in your own home to make sure your pet is comfortable in their own environment. If your dog gets along with other dogs and enjoys play dates, I can even bring one or both of my well behaved dogs to keep them company.
About: Since I was 15, I have always looked after my brothers two kitties, Daisy and Lotus. Daisy is a little energetic and feral cat, while lotus loves food and lounges all day. I would stay in my brothers apartment or drop in to feed them and play with them, or to just give them company while they do their own thing.

“We used Ireland to watch our Newfoundland for a few days over the eclipse weekend while we traveled to the path of totality. Ireland was extremely accommodating with the time of drop-off and pick-up. Seeing that we were dropping Zoe off on Friday night, I was afraid that we might interfere with Ireland's plans, but she reassured us that anytime was fine. We were afraid we might get held up in traffic coming back from TN, and again, she was extremely agreeable. She has a Newfie also, and it was good to know that Zoe would have another goofy-Newfy to play with. We will call Ireland again when we need somebody to watch Zoe!”

I've been consistently pet sitting since I was 19 (mostly for friends and neighbors), and I have a cat named Hobo. I have a completely flexible work from home job, so I am available at any given moment to give them that potty break, walk, or some TLC. :) I treat those fur babies as I would treat my own; always with attention, love, and affection. With your approval I may take them to the dog park to let them run - as long as that is something you enjoy with them. I live on a private road with only 3 other homes. There is almost no traffic so walking is relaxing and safe. Two of my neighbors have dogs, plus there are deer, armadillos, woodchucks, squirrels, chipmunks, and birds to entertain the sniffers and excite the barkers. My house is large and simply furnished with lots of spots for a nap and room for inside play when the weather is uninviting. I’m a Yale graduate with 30+ years working for Fortune 100 companies - I’m trustworthy and honest and you can depend on me to treat your home like mine (or better!) when I’m there.
