About: I have always loved dogs and I have decided that I want to be around dogs in my free time because it makes me happy! I am a soon to be retired school teacher and want to spend my time now with animals especially dogs! For the next 10 months I will be still working my teacher schedule and would like to get a head start on my next venture. I would be available for dog sitting on weekends and dog walks after 3pm during the work week and anytime over weekends. I have always had a dog growing up and very lovingly cared for my own dogs for the last 31 years. I enjoy being around all dogs. When I retire I would also like to volunteer somewhere for dogs. About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Even since moving out, I still go back home to take care of the pet there. I cut their nails, wash them, play games with them, and cuddle them and give them love.
