About: I had three miniature dachshunds until they all eventually passed away from old age. I treated them as if they were children. I am very in tune with an animal’s needs and emotions. Animals that I have never met before, usually take to me right away. When I cared for my father-in-law’s dog for two weeks, he did not want to return home with him….lol. I hate to see any animal suffer or be in danger. I go as far to remove turtles from the road so that they do not get hit and I have tried to save numerous injured birds in the wild. Animals, especially, dogs, provide so much unconditional love. I am a retired law enforcement officer. Thus, I have a lot of availability. I am available Sunday-Saturday 24 hours as long as I am provided at least a short notice. I have a fenced in back yard that I always ensure is securely locked at all times. I would pet proof home ensure no medications or cleaning products, etc are accessible to pets. Also, I would only feed what the owner wanted the pet to be fed.

Whether it’s throwing a ball, going for a nice walk or lounging on the couch and cuddling I’ll give your fur baby all the attention they want! I have experience giving oral medication and insulin injections to dogs as well as cats. Picking up and discarding poop doesn’t bother me! I’m a stay at home wife and mama to a six year old son who is now in elementary school so I have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies! About: Hi! I’m Mckinley! I’ve always had a huge love for animals of all kinds, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I have experience with dogs big and small, and I’ll treat your pets with the same love, patience, and care I’d want for my own. I have a very flexible schedule and will make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away :) I’m currently enrolled in an online program working towards my medical coding certification, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to your pets. I’ll have lots of time to give them the attention, love, and affection they deserve! 🤍 I believe pets are happiest and most comfortable in their own home and routine! I’ll follow your pets’ normal schedule as closely as possible, including meals, walks, & playtime. I’ll also make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and never feel alone while you’re away. I’m happy to follow any specific instructions or routines your pets have!

They have a young Aussie who was also sweet and my dog came back to me very relaxed and happy (and very tired after all the fun!). “I just left Mr Pillow with Michael and his wife Harley for one night in preparation for a longer boarding trip in a few days just to make sure Mr Pillow would be happy and comfortable when we are gone. I mostly communicated with Harley and really liked the whole process of first visiting their house for an intro visit, which Mr Pillow loved, then the great communication throughout Mr Pillow’s stay. I got lots of videos and photos so that helps calm my anxious mind and whenever I had questions, Harley and Michael responded on Rover app very quickly. When I picked Mr Pillow up, he actually wanted to stay more, so I am bringing him back this Friday when my family goes out of the country.”
