I went through the full journey of raising a puppy into her senior years, which taught me patience, responsibility, and deep respect for animals’ needs. Since then, I’ve felt naturally drawn to caring for pets and making sure they feel safe, loved, and understood. I currently have full availability after returning from college, which allows me to focus on pet care as a priority. I am flexible with scheduling and can provide care throughout the day, including mornings, evenings, and overnight stays when needed. I care for pets by following their normal routines as closely as possible to help them feel safe and comfortable. In a client’s home, I make sure to respect their space while keeping pets on their usual feeding, walking, and play schedule. I pay close attention to instructions and details provided by the owner so each pet receives consistent, personalized care. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and safe environment where they are supervised and given plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I make sure they have fresh water, proper feeding times, and a stress-free space to relax. My goal is always to treat every pet like my own and ensure they feel secure and well cared for at all times.
About: I am a lifelong animal lover who has not been without at least one pet my entire life. Currently I have 4 dogs of my own, from a senior 5 pound chihuahua to a 60 pound pit bull mix. I am a former doggie foster parent who cared for dogs coming directly from a county animal shelter. I have completed obedience and training classes with multiple of my own dogs over the years. I have been a client of Bowdon Animal Hospital for over 25 years. I have cared for hospice animals, animals with anxiety issues and animals with medical needs. I have a very flexible schedule both weekdays and weekends. My spouse works from home so my own dogs and fish are well taken care of while I care for your babies. Being retired allows me to spend quality time with your pets, getting to know them and how to best care for them. I am meticulous about ensuring any medication is taken correctly and owners instructions for their pets are followed, just as I would want for my own. Our family enjoys hiking, so I am very familiar with ensuring large and small dogs are safe on a leash.

About: I have grown up with pets in my home and I believe there is no better friend than a pet! I have experience house sitting, drop-in visits to check/feed/let out pets and even get the client’s mail. I also have a lot of experience pet sitting dogs, cats, and love taking them on walks and playing outside. As an out of state student, I miss my own pets so being able to take care of someone else’s pets is so special to me and would bring me so much joy!
