We worried about them causing her trouble and after the first night we were afraid we might have to cancel our vacation. Pat assured us that they would be fine, and they were. She was patient, even cooked them chicken and rice when they got diarrhea. She sent pictures and updates on them which really relieved our minds. Along with working with animals of all ages I have both volunteered and worked at a local Humane Society. Working there entailed feeding, cleaning, and providing medical care to both cats and dogs. As a student who only works a part time job I am back and forth between campus and my house all week. With an older cat I frequently drop by my house throughout the day to check on him. About: Since I was 9 years old I have been fortunate to grow up in a household that has always included dogs. Throughout the years, we have cared for a diverse range of breeds, including Terriers, Boxers, and Mastiffs and I wouldn't have it any other way (except for maybe more dogs). I was raised to care for and love them like I would any family member. I have administered medication to not only my own animals, but to others as well. Not only that, I can perform hygiene tasks such as bathing, brushing, etc. I work remotely and have the flexibility to create my own schedule. This gives me plenty of time to spend with your pup while you're away! I have a fenced-in yard with ample amounts of running space. I have three sweet pups: a 13-year-old Westie, a 3-year-old Shepherd, and a yellow Lab who is less than a year old. They are happy to help keep your fur babies busy during playtime or snuggle next to them during nap time. If it's a pleasant day, we'll be outside playing in the yard or lounging in the shade. If not, there is plenty of room to entertain inside. We allow our dogs to relax on the furniture and welcome visitors to it as well; The couch is our favorite place to snuggle! I'm comfortable administering medication if needed. My senior boy is on oral medication; I've also administered medication to others in the past. About: I had three miniature dachshunds until they all eventually passed away from old age. I treated them as if they were children. I am very in tune with an animal’s needs and emotions. Animals that I have never met before, usually take to me right away. When I cared for my father-in-law’s dog for two weeks, he did not want to return home with him….lol. I hate to see any animal suffer or be in danger. I go as far to remove turtles from the road so that they do not get hit and I have tried to save numerous injured birds in the wild. Animals, especially, dogs, provide so much unconditional love. I am a retired law enforcement officer. Thus, I have a lot of availability. I am available Sunday-Saturday 24 hours as long as I am provided at least a short notice. I have a fenced in back yard that I always ensure is securely locked at all times. I would pet proof home ensure no medications or cleaning products, etc are accessible to pets. Also, I would only feed what the owner wanted the pet to be fed.

About: I worked at a vet clinic for a couple of years. I also worked at a dog training facility for a year. I know it’s hard to leave your fur baby behind but I can promise you that they will be safe and definitely loved! I just had a baby and not able to work in the moment. So I’m up early in the morning and up late at night so I’m very flexible! Well I will have to have my baby with me ( just a warning). But I normally treat them as my own. I will walk them every 2-3 hours then I’m there. If the owner has any schedule I follow the schedule or any instructions. I do normally send pictures and videos of the fur baby to the owner and keep them updated with everything.
About: I have two of my own dogs. One of them actually just had puppies and I delivered them and took care of them myself. I love big dog breeds I work full time until four Monday through Friday. I would have time to after I get off work. I am very excited to be helping others with their dogs. I take care of my two golden retrievers I have all the time. I take them on long walks everyday after I get off of work and they are very well trained and behaved

We worried about them causing her trouble and after the first night we were afraid we might have to cancel our vacation. Pat assured us that they would be fine, and they were. She was patient, even cooked them chicken and rice when they got diarrhea. She sent pictures and updates on them which really relieved our minds.
