I have loved and cared for my own pets for decades, and have spent the past 5 years caring for others' furry family members. I'm an experienced dog walker and trainer, and am comfortable walking dogs of all sizes. I have 3 years of experience training dogs and puppies, including working with reactive and fearful pups. Regardless of your dog's particular quirks, they are welcome here! I am an experienced foster, dog walker, and trainer for the local humane society. I am confident managing dogs with behavioral issues, including reading body language, and keeping dogs separate from other animals if they require that. I am comfortable giving medication, both orally and via injections, and I will give patient and loving care to your sick or senior dogs who need a little extra love. I am happy to keep up with any training while you're away (be it puppy training, potty training, obedience work, or leash manners.) I treat all my dog guests like part of the family, and your dogs are welcome to join the pack while they are here, any day of the week! I work full-time, but always come home for an hour at lunchtime to care for and tend to the dogs. Everyone gets a walk and yard time before I head to work, and plenty of playtime and attention when I get home. Dogs are never left for more than 4 hours. What your dog can expect: 🐕🦺Leash walks! Your dog will enjoy at least one solid walk every day (either on his own, or joining my two dogs for a pack walk). 🦴🥎 Secure Playtime! Your dog will love romping and playing in my fenced backyard, lounging under the trees, and splashing in the doggy pool. All playtimes are well-supervised, to ensure everyone is well-mannered and safe. 💤 Quiet private space: There are two doggy guest suites set up in my home, complete with their own bed, crate, food & water dishes. This ensures that your dog can relax during naptimes, meal-times, and bedtimes, without any other pups bothering them. 🏠 Part of the family When your dogs are here, they're part of the pack, and I'll care for them just like my own dogs. This means equal access to couches, dog beds, belly rubs, and frisbees. Depending on your dog's needs, they may join my dogs in the house and yard, or they may get their own solo couch time & play time, if they prefer not to be around other dogs. Whatever makes them feel at home, that's what we'll provide.

About: I’ve taken care of two large dogs and one mini poodle. I have experience in bathing, feeding and and providing medical care. I live next to Astoria park and can provide the necessary stimuli to make sure your pup is entertained and happy😁 I have a 2 year old poodle that needs daily allergy medication. I provide special care for her and monitor her very closely. I also administer shots for allergy related issues. I treat my pets as I would my own child. About: Welcome to your dog's safe, happy, and fun-filled home away from home. I have loved and cared for my own pets for decades, and have spent the past 5 years caring for others' furry family members. I'm an experienced dog walker and trainer, and am comfortable walking dogs of all sizes. I have 3 years of experience training dogs and puppies, including working with reactive and fearful pups. Regardless of your dog's particular quirks, they are welcome here! I am an experienced foster, dog walker, and trainer for the local humane society. I am confident managing dogs with behavioral issues, including reading body language, and keeping dogs separate from other animals if they require that. I am comfortable giving medication, both orally and via injections, and I will give patient and loving care to your sick or senior dogs who need a little extra love. I am happy to keep up with any training while you're away (be it puppy training, potty training, obedience work, or leash manners.) I treat all my dog guests like part of the family, and your dogs are welcome to join the pack while they are here, any day of the week! I work full-time, but always come home for an hour at lunchtime to care for and tend to the dogs. Everyone gets a walk and yard time before I head to work, and plenty of playtime and attention when I get home. Dogs are never left for more than 4 hours. What your dog can expect: 🐕🦺Leash walks! Your dog will enjoy at least one solid walk every day (either on his own, or joining my two dogs for a pack walk). 🦴🥎 Secure Playtime! Your dog will love romping and playing in my fenced backyard, lounging under the trees, and splashing in the doggy pool. All playtimes are well-supervised, to ensure everyone is well-mannered and safe. 💤 Quiet private space: There are two doggy guest suites set up in my home, complete with their own bed, crate, food & water dishes. This ensures that your dog can relax during naptimes, meal-times, and bedtimes, without any other pups bothering them. 🏠 Part of the family When your dogs are here, they're part of the pack, and I'll care for them just like my own dogs. This means equal access to couches, dog beds, belly rubs, and frisbees. Depending on your dog's needs, they may join my dogs in the house and yard, or they may get their own solo couch time & play time, if they prefer not to be around other dogs. Whatever makes them feel at home, that's what we'll provide.

I was only looking for a sitter for a quick trip over the weekend, and hoping that they would be patient enough with a dog which I just adopted from the shelter with who knows what trauma he had; I landed on a professional! This was my first experience and a pleasant one as well! FYI this is not a drop off service! I appreciated the time that Joshua took to ask me as much as I knew about my "new" dog. After a couple of minutes he says “he has dog in him", which for me meant that he accepts and was looking forward to getting to know him. Besides the basic questions, allergies, vet info and all, he genuinely asked about "my" concerns. I appreciated that. During my time away he volunteered updates on how my Buddy was doing, even had breathtaking photoshoot! Buddy was looking fierce and sexy! Buddy was at his best behavior and Joshua also shared his thoughts on Buddy's true potential. After sharing my habits at home with Buddy, as a professional trainer, Joshua pointed out the does and don'ts and why they were important which was very helpful! He shared commands and how to execute and reinforce them, and helpful items I could purchase to help with training at home.
