About: I am a former manager at a daycare and boarding facility, I have administered diabetes shots and other medications for animals. I plan to own my own daycare boarding facility in the future. Helping others and working with animals has always been my passion, I initially went to college for veterinary but decided that it wasn’t for me that a Daycare facility was best suited for me and my personality. I currently am a manager at a restaurant I can walk pets before 5:30 am but it didn’t give the option and anytime after 4 pm. I have three friendly dogs who are very socialized they go to doggy daycare and one elderly cat who is 16 and our yard is fenced in and I live down the street from a dog park as well!

My mother taught us about natural remedies we could find in nature to help cure or heal us over time. One memorable experience was when I saved a beloved cat from what we believed was antifreeze poisoning. Drawing on what I learned from my family and my work, I created activated charcoal using black coal from the fireplace. I mixed the powdered charcoal with warm milk and carefully forced it down my little cat's throat. Thankfully, I was able to save my cat, Taco 🌮 😺, who went on to live for many more happy years.

About: I have owned and watched a variety of animals. I have watched dogs in the past for my neighbors and family. I will let them run around outside and throw the ball with them. I also let them roam around the house most of the day. I will also take my pets on a walk as long as the weather is decent! I do not want them to overheat or get really wet because of rain. I do work full time but I have flexibility with my schedule and am able to be home a lot. My work days is normally around 6 hours. I use to work as a vet tech so I am well versed with how to handle animals and ensure they are properly taken care of. I have a fenced yard and I let them run around for a few minutes if I don’t go outside with them. I don’t usually leave my pets outside longer than 10 or 15 mins without being outside. The yard is big enough for them to run around and tire themselves. I also have a dog park in my neighborhood that I will take them to if no one is in the park. It is very spacious and allows for them to get a lot of energy out!

“Cara was amazing with our pup!! My boyfriend and I needed someone to take care of our 3-month old rescue puppy for the day when we were in CT visiting his parents. We had never left our puppy with a dog sitter yet, so I was pretty nervous about it, but Cara was super responsive and sent us lots of adorable photos and updates to put my mind at ease. She has dogs and adorable kids who are all super dog friendly as well. She has a yard so the dogs can always go out and play, but when our pup got tired, Cara was just as happy to have her sit and cuddle with her inside. Whatever the age, the size, the quantity I’m willing to be there for whatever. I do have experience pet sitting with several people and I have done so for them repeatedly.
