About: I spent 2 years working at a doggy daycare so I understand dog behavior very well (gave dogs medicine, followed food instructions, seen it all). I also have a dog of my own so I understand personal needs and concerns! I’m currently working part-time, usually mornings, but I am very flexible and don’t mind making visits after work. I work well with spontaneity, so I can make last minute visits (within reason), and am ok with last minute cancellations. When I meet a new dog, especially one I’m taking care of, I usually take a few minutes to pet and play with the dog so that they become comfortable with me and can trust me. I never leave without making sure they have a bowl full of clean water, and food if they need it at that time.

About: I work from home and would love to host and care for your fur babies while you are at work or away on vacation. I have loved animals of all types my entire life. My husband and I formerly rescued and fostered multiple rat terriers and placed them in loving homes through an organization called New Rattitude. I currently have a volunteer position with the same organization as a microchip coordinator. While I was in high school and college I worked for two animal clinics in the Metro Atlanta area and volunteered with local animal shelters. My family pets over the past 22 years were 2 Rat Terriers and 2 Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mixes that all lived to be seniors. I have experience in caring for dogs of all ages. Since I am at home so much, your dogs will be not be lonely, they will be doted on and treated like royalty. I have a large fenced in yard for sniffing, exercise and exploration. I only take one client at a time. I do not have any pets of my own currently, Yours will have my undivided attention and care. I will update you with photos and status reports on a daily basis. Since I work from home, I will keep your dog on any required schedule such as medications, supplements, specific feeding times, and potty breaks. Playtimes and naptimes will be intermittent throughout the day. I have comfy doggie beds throughout the house and under my office desk. My home is clean and safe. I have a secure, fenced in yard with many areas to explore and space to run around. All gates are padlocked. I also stay outside with the dogs that are in my care. I leave a full bowl of water out 24 -7. I allow dogs to sleep in my bed if that is what they are accustomed to, I can also crate them if that is preferred.
