“Olivia will be our go to person when we need a sitter if she’s available. She kept me informed and sent pictures during our trip. We were nervous since we haven’t had to leave Kelsi with anyone, but Olivia put us at ease. The quiet home atmosphere and Olivia’s warm personality was exactly what we were looking for. Kelsi was content and we will not hesitate to leave her again. Thank you Olivia for taking such good care of our senior lady. Do not hesitate using Olivia. Your loved one will be in good hands.”

“Great visit. Pups were happy and in great spirits when we picked them up. Tyila was quick with communication and easy to work with. Her home is perfectly dog friendly and we loved seeing picture updates!”
“Debbie was great....she gave us regular updates on Roodles. She took very care of our dog....we were very impressed. She even had a meet and greet in the beginning to meet roodles....we felt very comfortable leaving Roodles with her. Our dog is scared of fireworks and Debbie comforted her and got her through it on NY eve”

“We left Xena and Apollo with William and his family and they treated them as one of their own. I felt comfortable leaving my pups with them and will use them again next time. Usually when we leave town, we have to retrain our dogs, but this time I feel like they came back even more trained. I appreciate William and his family reinforcing our rules and training habits, it makes a world of a difference. I also loved getting pictures and communication while the pups were there.”

“Kayla is the best. She showed patience and understanding for my furbaby whom never stayed with anyone before. He received lots of love and got a chance to have a play date.”

“Our dog was happy and exhausted after his time at Johnnica’s. I appreciated her listening to my too lengthy dog owner instructions with patience. We would definitely use again!”

“Nikki takes wonderful care of our pup and keeps us up to date on how he’s doing. Her dogs also get along with ours and keeps him active. Overall I’m very please with our pup’s stay.”

“First time leaving my baby, Kai, with a sitter in Columbus. Couldn't have made a better sitter selection. Selau was wonderful from their first meeting at dropoff, I could tell Kai felt comfortable with her. I had no worries while Kai was in Selau's care. Wonderful sitting, I have found my Columbus sitter. Will definitely use again and recommend.”

“Kara took such great care of our dogs! She took us very last minute and was very accommodating! She offered pick up and drop off as well as grooming and bathing for both which I am extremely grateful for! The doggies came back happy, smelling good, looking fresh and well cared for! Definitely recommend and will be booking again!”

“Megan is our go-to sitter for our two dogs. Megan and her family are fantastic, so easy to work with, and we just know our dogs have the best time at her house! 100% recommended!”

About: I have over 15 years of hands on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. My experience includes German Shepherds, Chihuahuas, Pit Bulls, Australian Cattle Dogs (Blue Heelers), Bull Terriers, Cane Corsos, and Boston Terriers. I am comfortable with large, powerful breeds as well as small companion dogs. In addition to caring for family pets and dogs belonging to friends and neighbors, I was entrusted with the care of the 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team (3ABCT), 1st Armored Division Bulldog Mascot while Soldiers were away for training. This experience required reliability, consistency, and attention to the dog’s daily needs and well-being. As a military veteran, I understand the importance of responsibility, trust, and clear communication. I treat every dog as if they were my own and strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress free environment while their owners are away. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule around feeding times, walks, exercise, playtime, and ensuring pets receive the attention and care they need throughout the day. With over 15 years of experience caring for dogs of various breeds and sizes, providing a safe, structured, and loving environment has become second nature to me. As a military veteran, I value consistency, reliability, and attention to detail. Whether caring for my own pets or those entrusted to me, I make sure they receive plenty of exercise, affection, supervision, and routine care. I enjoy spending time outdoors, which makes daily walks and active play a natural part of my lifestyle. Pet care is not an interruption to my routine, it is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize every day. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a secure fenced yard for supervised outdoor play and two friendly, well socialized dogs who can provide companionship if your dog enjoys interacting with others. I understand that every pet has different needs and personalities, so I take the time to follow your instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and routines. Pets in my care are treated like family and receive plenty of attention, affection, and supervision throughout the day. If your dog prefers their own space, I can easily separate or crate them when needed to ensure a safe, stress free environment for everyone.
“Tinkie had the best vacation here! Friendly playmates and lovely family who gave her undivided attention. She came home happy and relaxed. Anna sent constant updates and photos. 100% will use Anna for all future sits💕.”

“Amy did and an AWESOME job with our boy Bentley. She kept us updated on how he was doing and sent pics. Bentley is very hyper but it wasn’t a problem for her. We will be using her again.”

“Gloria was wonderful with our senior dog. She is warm and friendly and very caring to my furbaby sending multiple photos during her stay. Highly recommend and will book with her again!”

“Ryka had an amazing stay with Jennifer and her family! They took such good care of Ryka with tons of hugs and belly rubs. During the time away I get pics updates of my pup daily. At the end I feel like my own pup dont even wanna come home with me anymore!”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars! Wags and Whiskers Play and Stay was an absolute blessing to me during an unexpected emergency trip out of town. From the very beginning, Sandra and Mark made me feel completely at ease leaving my dog, Lex Luther in their care—and that peace of mind is priceless. They went above and beyond! I received regular updates, including videos and pictures, which meant so much to me. It was clear Lex wasn’t just being “watched,” but truly cared for, loved, and engaged. They played, had treats, and my dog looked comfortable and happy the entire time. When I picked Lex up, I could tell he had been well taken care of—calm, content, and not stressed at all. That speaks volumes! If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely passionate about animals, I highly recommend Wags and Whiskers Play and Stay. I will definitely be using them again!”

“I am so happy I found Carly. I was going out of town for a 3 day getaway and my dog sitter cancelled the week of. Carly was thankfully able to take my fur baby and give her 1 on 1 attention! She eased my anxiety with daily updates and made sure my princess returned to me tangle free! We will definitely use Carly in the future.”

“I can't say enough great things about Mrs. Heather! From the moment we met, it was clear how much she genuinely cares for animals. She was incredibly attentive! Throughout the stay, I received updates, including photos and messages that truly gave me peace of mind. My dog, who can be a nervous at first when meeting new people, warmed up to them almost immediately which says a lot! When I returned, it was obvious that my dog had been well taken care of and had even formed a bond with Mrs. Heather! It’s rare to find someone who treats your pet like their own! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and truly AWESOME person to take care of your dog! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Kristina took excellent care of Skyy along with beautiful pictures sent daily of my fur baby which was a total plus! I will definitely be calling her again for pup care, thank you Kristina 🐶!”

“I got very lucky choosing Riley. Riley and I arranged a meet up to meet with me and my 11 cats. We went over the feeding and litter instructions prior to my trip. She got it the first time around. I didn't have to repeat myself. We also went over safety issues regarding the keys and gate and keeping the pets safe. She is reliable, trustworthy, pleasant and sweet and it was a pleasure getting to know her, she truly loves and cares for animals. She also texted me when she checked in and out of the house. She also sent me pictures of my cats. When I got home, it was like I never left. She did an excellent job feeding and cleaning the litter boxes and making sure cats were fine. This is the first time I used her as a pet sitter on Rover, and it was so stress-free. She is someone I definitely will use again in the future to take care of my pets. ❤️”

About: Hi! I’m Jessica, a lifelong animal lover with over 20 years of experience caring for cats and other pets. I understand that every cat has a unique personality, routine, and comfort level, and I take pride in providing patient, attentive care tailored to their individual needs. I have experience caring for kittens, adult cats, and senior cats, including those that require medication, special diets, extra monitoring, or additional patience and reassurance. “Our kitty Elliott had a wonderful stay with Rebecca! We were receiving constant updates, and he looked like he was right at home. Would recommend to anyone looking to board their fur baby.”

About: I am very caring and friendly to all pets. I am also patient on getting to know them and I will show them as much love as they need. I’m currently a military spouse. I mainly stay home and study personal training and health and it gets boring staying home all day, so I’m looking to find some furry friends to make and help take care of. I have a lot of time on my hands to spare to do drop in visits and walk your dogs. When I watch friends/ families pets, I always make sure they get the attention they need/want. I make sure they get enough food, go outside when they need to and I give them a lot of play time if they love to play. When I take dogs on walks, I make sure to have enough water with me in case they need water and I do shorter trails rather than longer just in case the dog needs to get back to the car to rest. If you book with me, your pets will be taken very good care of.

About: When I was young I have always loved cats and have owned one. I have taken care of cats for neighbors prior, administering them medications and taking care of them while their owners were away. Currently I am living in an apartment with two cats.
“Very happy to have Brent and Connie’s help. They are reliable, spend time loving on our dogs and do a great job communicating. We will definitely use them again.”

I am home the majority of the time. I have a shih tzu that can keep your fur baby company as well as 2 little boys whom love animals. I can take your pets on walks through the neighborhood. About: I have experience with a variety of pet sitting jobs, and in my previous Home Health Care work, part of my responsibilities included caring for clients’ pets. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters, providing daily care, attention, and love to animals while they wait for their forever homes. Currently, I’m working toward a trainer certificate to further enhance my skills and provide the best care and guidance for pets. I have an amazing and flexible job working from home, so I’m able to provide care fairly easily in between my calls for work. I am usually at home and am dedicated to providing company and the best care needed for your pet individually. I also respect my clients pets and I do not board other clients animals at the same time. I do one family in my home at a time because you never know how a pet could interact with another person’s pet in a negative way. Regardless of what your needs are, please don’t hesitate to ask me! We can work together to create a plan that’s easy for both you and your pet. I take the time to learn your pet’s personality, routine, and preferences so that I can provide care that feels just like home. Their happiness, comfort, and safety are always my top priority, and I’ll make sure they feel loved and secure while you’re away.
About: Your baby will have my sole attention as I only board one dog at a time, unless other pets are from the same family. I have experience taking care of dogs of all ages, puppies and older. I have given senior care to all of my wonderful dogs in my past. Currently, I have no pets. I have worked with House Sitters America for years. I spent two weeks in Albuquerque, NM, taking care of two big dogs in the pet owners’ home. The owners left on vacation and hired me to take care of their pets and home while they were gone. I have also spent two weeks twice in Cheyenne, WY, taking care of two small dogs while the parents were away. They hired me in the winter, then again in the summer. I have hired Rover sitters for many years, all over the United States - from Washington State to Maine, to Texas, and to Georgia, as I traveled, and I know what I appreciated from each sitter and will give you the same care and services. I am retired so have plenty of time to take care of your beautiful pets. I love dogs and they will feel right at home with me. I have a spacious, fenced-in yard where they can run freely - always under my supervision. I also have a small fenced, grassy, doggy area with a doggy door on the side of my house. I will spend most of my time with your pet. They entertain me as much as I entertain them.
“Although this was just a test run, Nikki, Ben and their family were very welcoming. They took they time to explain how their pet sitting worked, introduce their family and furry kids, and help me work out other times that they could watch Bear. Bear enjoyed his day care day very much and was exhausted from all the play when got home. Looking forward to the next stay.”

“Omgoodness….I so wish I had found you sooner. You were amazing and so sweet to my baby! He had an amazing time. Thank you for taking such good care of him and for all the updates with pictures and videos. It always takes a load off when we know we can go to work and someone takes care of their dog the same as they would their own!!”

“Mary Grace is an exceptional pet sitter! She agreed to care for my 2 dogs at the last minute and was flexible with my work schedule. She wasn’t put off by my long work day of 12 hour shifts. She kept me informed throughout the day with pics and texts on how well my puppy kids were doing. Though my one dog has some behavioral special needs, Mary Grace was confident in her skills to care for my dog both professionally and lovingly. I highly recommend Mary Grace!”
“We are so lucky to have found our new dog sitters! From the first meeting, it was clear how much they genuinely care about dogs. Our pup adored them right away, and that gave us so much peace of mind. You can tell they put their heart into what they do. We’ll definitely be booking again.”

“We had an amazing experience with this dog sitter! Communication was excellent from start to finish, and the property offers plenty of land for dogs to roam, explore, and really stretch their legs. Their sweet children were so gentle and playful with our pup, making the stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we give our experience a 10 out of 10!”

About: Please take a moment to read this before you send a doggy daycare request: **Doggy Daycare/Pack walks** Any pups that are dog friendly and trained on and off leash can attend. Your pup joins other well mannered pups on a weekly walk/adventure. We explore new places, practice proper socialization skills, and practice real world training experiences, This is offered Monday-Friday and a minimum of three days per week is required. Drop off/pick up services included! - Growing up I always had a cat or dog around. I have also taken care of countless of dogs and cats along the way- whether they were a stray I picked up, a family’s, friend’s, or neighbor’s. I’ve always had a passion for animals more specifically dogs. For three years I worked at a dog training/boarding facility as a kennel technician and a trainer. I was taught how to efficiently care for 25+ dogs at a time in a kennel environment. My responsibilities included taking dogs outside at specific times, feeding, administering medication, prioritizing safety, keeping kennels, and the dogs clean. Within the first couple of months working as a kennel technician I quickly developed a love for dog training and soon was promoted and worked as a trainer at the facility. I learned multiple ways to teach dogs different skills, work through behavioral issues, and how to better help owners understand and communicate with their dogs. From there I went on to work at a local dog park/bar for just about three years as well. I closely monitored the dogs in the park to make sure they were playing in a fair and safe manner. I had to be able to read the dogs in the park and deescalate possible tension between dogs to prevent any scuffles or accidents. After the dog park closed I have gotten back into dog training again and have recently started a pack walking service. I’ve also been here on rover since 2022! As of right now I’m doing Rover full time! However I do run a structured pack walk with dogs I’ve trained or have received previous training in the mornings and I also train Board and trains at my house/on pack walks. My schedule is open for early morning drop ins/walks, mid day, and evenings. I can do drop ins multiple times a day but please keep in mind I do not stay overnight. I can board your pup(s) overnight at my house if they have received training previously by another trainer or if they have been trained by me. I provide loving care in the comfort of your pet’s own space! When we leave for trips or go to work it can often cause our pets to feel anxious or stressed and taking them away from the home they find most comforting can often worsen these feelings, especially in very chaotic environments like conventional boarding facilities. By keeping them in their own environment it can be more comforting than boarding them away from your home. This may also be more comforting for you too! For boarding your pup must be kennel trained for when I briefly the house and for meal times! However if your pup is boarding with me they will usually be out free roaming with my pups while I’m home and they will join me on my weekly pack walks as well! Safety and comfort are my top priority when it comes to pet sitting. Finding someone you can trust is very hard. I will try my very best to keep you as updated as possible by sending as many photos as I can as well as on every rover drop in card I will leave a description about what we did during the drop in so you aren’t left hanging! On walks I will do everything in my power to make sure your dog is safe and gets the time they need to sniff, explore, and do their business. I can drop in a few times a day if you are out of town or if you work long shifts and you’d prefer your pup to stay at home. I drop by and give potty breaks, food, water, play time, exercise, whatever your best friend may need I will try my best to provide it!

I am also in school at CSU, but classes are over for the Summer 😊 I have a fenced in backyard with a lot of room to run and play as well as a friendly poodle to keep your babies company (they can be easily separated if needed) !! At clients homes, it varies depending on the client’s request. However, I do love going outside with the dogs as well as being cuddled up watching tv with them☺️

About: I’m the person an animal stays with in a room full of people. I am a stay at home Mom who has nothing but time to offer to help you with your pet care needs! I understand how hard it can be to find a reliable, trustworthy sitter or walker. I will be happy to help anyway I can. I have had pets all my life. I am reliable and trustworthy with your pets as if they were my own. We can not wait to open our home to you and your pet. To include our 6 year old. She’s an animal enthusiast! Our 13, 12, 9 and 3 year olds are equally as loving with animals. We hope to hear from you soon. I hope you have a wonderful day! I am a stay at home mom/wife and online student. I am home most of not all day. So taking care of your animal is easy since I’m always home. I have a huge fenced in back yard. As well as 3 dogs of my own. 2 of which are service animals trained by myself. Pets are considered part of the family with us and are treated as such. They get lots of love, are allowed on the furniture, and get specialty treats. Spoiled is an understatement when they are in my care. But always safety first. They will be crate when I am not home and at night. Toys and treats are size and diet appropriate.

“I’m staff with an RV tour group and scheduled Shaunte to walk two dogs during our full day bus tour. She did an outstanding job. She was prompt for the Meet and Great the day before the scheduled walk. She sent pictures of both dogs walking and playing. I would recommend her and use her again. Thank you.”

I am not able to offer services in my home but I can care for dogs, cats, reptiles, and small animals for any services needed such as walking.

I love animals and want to help ease fur parents minds when it comes to looking for care. At the moment, I am very flexible and available. I am hoping to potentially turn this into a full-time career. Sundays would be the one day I will not be available. I will always understand the client's instructions and rules but my ultimate goal is to ensure the pet is respected and comfortable. I will never force a fur baby to accept me, rather I will do everything in my power to have them trust me!

About: I’ve had experience taking care of animals since I was a young child. Dogs of all sizes and energies and ages; cats, fish, rabbits (and other small animals). I have a lot of patience and love meeting dogs and learning of their personalities. I am absolutely thrilled to meet and take care of your pet! Hi my name is Dudley, I usually have an open schedule. I am flexible with hours and would love to help you with your schedule. So I understand a new environment for your pet might be a little overwhelming. I like to keep the initial introduction calming and bring your pets toys or dog bed into the new environment to let him/her feel safe. I do have other dogs but I have the ability to keep them separate if your pet doesn’t like other animals. My dogs have been vaccinated. I have a large back yard where your pet can let a lot of energy out and have a ton of fun! If I would house sit I would love an introduction. Usually a treat or two helps them feel calm around me. If you just wanted a walking service for your pet I would find a route near your neighborhood or apartment complex. I make sure to stay off the asphalt as much as possible. And in the summer I bring an extra water bottle with me in case they get tired.

“Rebecca was awesome with Max. She made him very comfortable and happy while I was away for the weekend. She kept me updated on his stay while he was with her. I can tell by the pictures she sent me , that he was very happy, I will definitely use Rebecca again in the future. Thanks again Rebecca for taking care of my Max. 💗💕😊🐩”

“Mary Grace was a godsend to our family. Our beloved and notoriously mischievous 11 year old /70lb shepherd mix is prone to stress and can’t be comfortably boarded in a facility. He is also getting older, so he struggles with separation anxiety and requires frequent walks and intellectual stimulation. Mary Grace was a perfect fit. She is extremely competent and conscientious. She met both Ranger’s needs as a full time companion (walks, feeding, engaging) and my needs as a concerned parent (pictures, updates, etc). It’s the first time we’ve traveled in years that I was not constantly worried about Ranger. I would not hesitate to book with her again or to recommend her to others. She is amazing and I’m so grateful for how well she cared for our boy.”

“I was able to book with Casey last minute and she took great care of my Sweetie. When my cousin picked my dog up she said my dog was walking around like she was home and comfortable. I would definitely rebook and you should too.”

“Jana is excellent! She provided great care to my lab. Jana provided updates, pics, and videos throughout the stay. She also communicated often and responded quickly. It is evident that she is caring, loves dogs and will care for your pet like her own. She's also very sweet. My lab also got along well with her two babies. I will definitely use her again for future boarding needs.”
