“Traveling for my stepdaughter's destination wedding in Trenton, GA / Chattanooga TN and realized that the week long wedding plans involved 2 days where my dogs would be alone in our AIRBNB house for way too many hours for the rehearsal/cocktail evening 8 + hours and the wedding day 12+ hours. Hence, I went to my ROVER application I use while in my home state FL and searched who was near me that could do drop visits on both days to watch 3 dogs they had never met & in all home the dogs had only spent a few days in. LAURA to the rescue!!!!! She provided a courtesy meet & greet and seeing her handle all three dogs truly impressed me. All three of my dogs are seniors, Luna an American Bulldog 11 years and weighs 70 lbs, Maya a Pointer-Mix 9 years weighing 65 lbs and Lemon 11 year old Chihuahua that is both blind and loosing his hearing. Laura was mindful of each of their distinct personalities and even offered to give Lemon his heart medication if needed. She realized during the first drop in that Luna would take some gentle guidance to trust her as well as Lemon who on her own, Laura devised a method to get him outside to go have a bathroom break. All instructions and suggestions were followed with great care and she provided pictures & updates delivering me comfort. To be able to trust a stranger in a rented home and with your fur babies is not a situation one wants to be in but I had to think of the dogs needs and trust Laura. I AM SO GLAD I DID! If you are traveling in GA Trenton/Chattanooga area or ARE A LOCAL, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND trusting your babies with LAURA, EYES CLOSED! She exudes, trust, kindness, confidence and animals know best! “We appreciate Staysha staying with Bentley and accepting to care for him. I truly believe that Staysha loves to care for animals; however, today I experienced something that I had not experienced before through Rover.com. One was that the pet sitter did not update her address until after we booked, making this a serious issue due to us trying to coordinate the timing of our destination to her home. The other reason is that when I called Staysha to let her know we were going over to pick up my dog, she said that she left my dog to someone else while she went to run errands and go walk another dog and feed another dog at some other house. In one of the pictures, my dog was outside playing with a belly band on and when Inwent to pick him up his belly band was wet of pee pee and the pad was stinky of urine from not being changed. And when we got there to pick him up, Staysha was not there yet and her young niece gave me Bentley. The only reason why I will leave a tip at this point is because I feel bad for Staysha little niece who she seemed to be the one who was watching Bentley while Staysha was out. Staysha, if I could give you a constructive criticism, it would be that, I know you really mean to care for animals, ect. But, when a pet owner leaves their pet with “you” - who Rover.com checks your background check ect, the pet owner is trusting you to watch over their baby, their kid, their dog. For us Bentley is like our son and when you told me you left him with someone else, I could not believe it. I could give a 3 star vs 4 stars, but I believe in second chances, in forgiveness and I know that my feedback will serve to you as a positive one because you will plan your schedule better so that this does not happen again. About: I’ve been fortunate to have the chance to care for dogs, cats and farm animals throughout my life. I volunteered at a local animal shelter for four years, walking dogs and socializing cats. I also was a dog foster for the animal shelter for two years, fostering over two dozen dogs ranging from a pug to a Great Dane, and every type of dog in-between. About: My specialty is bigger dogs who like to pull. My best friend is a 110 lb wolfdog named keylo who I've had around 7 years. I walk him and our other dog 3/4 times a week. Their are several hikes around the area we go on as well. I usually work from home so I will have plenty of time for your fur babies . 5 minutes from several parks as well🐶 😊 schedule is flexible I have a huge fenced in back yard with multiple levels and lots of roaming/playing room. Im close to several parks as well as nature trails.
About: I cared for my staffy mix, Millie, for nine wonderful years, learning her needs, moods, and quirks along the way. That experience taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to keep dogs happy, comfortable, and loved — care I'm ready to bring to your dog. I am currently between jobs, but normally work from home. I am quite flexible in when I can provide pet care. Mornings, midday, or night care would be no issue. I have two cats myself, and keep a tidy home for them. I have a large, unfenced backyard, but has natural barriers that keep things very private.
About: I’ve had animals my entire life and currently have 2 dogs of my own, along with a flock of chickens and our very own honeybees. Hux is a Great Pyrenees and Collie mix so he happens to be very intelligent, so we work on a lot of training to help stimulate his mind and keep him active! While Luna is a German shepherd, Doberman mix which means lots of playtime to help her exert her energy!
About: I have grown up all my life with both cats and dogs. I absolutely love them! I have a natural talent for reading a animals needs- whether it be attention, space, love or getting to know them on their own terms. I am willing to care for senior pets. Just let me know what your pets needs are, and I am happy to work with you to make sure that they are met! I'm currently a college student at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and I have a good deal of flexibility. All I have to work around are my classes. I'm comfortable doing whatever your instructions require to keep your pet safe, happy and comfortable. I know what it feels like to leave my pets at home in the care of someone else, and I will take care of your pets as if they are my own.

She really helped me out of a jam—two jams, actually—when she accepted my last-minute booking (like, basically 24 hours notice) when my other sitter canceled for an emergency, AND she VERY generously agreed to watch my dog for an extra night when I was stuck overnight at a the airport.
