Neighbors and friends have relied on me in the past to walk and feed their pets while they are not home. I currently work from home part time so I am always present here. I am able to walk my dogs multiple times a day for pee breaks and walks. I have two friendly dogs that would love company here in my home. I can easily crate just as well if need be. I’ve worked with many types of cats, learning how to meet their grooming, nutrition, and comfort needs. I have cared for mostly small breeds such as Maltese, Maltipoo, Morkie, Shih-poo, Yorkies, etc. I currently have a Morkie furr baby named Ivy. For over night boarding, I have plenty of room for your furr baby to roam around and have a great night sleep. Whatever your little one may need from toys to treats I have it. From puppies to senior dogs, I ensure each pup gets the special attention they require and deserve. I currently work remotely and my schedule is largely asynchronous. I have plenty of time throughout the weekend to stop in and check in on pups, and my weekends are open and flexible as well. In a client's home, I make sure to do a thorough scan of the place to ensure there are no hazards around (i.e. no leftover grapes from snack time on the counter and ensuring doors to the outdoors are secured). I follow any instructions from the pet parents' carefully whether it be giving medication or certain types of physical therapy that need to be done, and I reach out with any questions if I am feeling uncertain about anything. I offer overnights if needed, and I can work with any pet and owner to make sure your fuzzball has the best experience possible while you're gone (and that you have the best experience when you arrive home). Light housecleaning and laundry services also available upon request. When setting up a pet-sitting experience, I interview the client to make sure I understand your pet's routines and preferences. If your pet is playful and energetic but prefers a rousing game of fetch to long walks, I will document this and provide the preferred activities. If your cat likes company but hates being picked up, I'm here to provide human comfort with just the right amount of contact but without cuddling (and don't worry, for those animals that do like cuddling, I'm not afraid of a little shedding!) I can also care for small animals in my own home if they travel in their own cages (or aquariums).

Right now we are an empty nest as our 17 year old boxer/pit crossed the rainbow bridge in March 2026. I house/pet sit from time to gain a little spending cash for my upcoming travel adventures. . I recently worked for 20+ years in the corporate world but have recently in the last few years have worked a small business risk consultant. In my lifeteime owned/fostered 2 cats and 5 dogs.
