About: I’ve spent my whole life around dogs and cats. I love taking them for walks, the park or helping them learn to swim. I know the importance of giving dogs medications and taking them to appointments. I also keep dogs well groomed while I watch them I currently work full time 5 days a week but but will spend all my free time taking care of your pets. I will check on them throughout the day during work if needed I live in an apartment that has 1 bedroom. The apartment complex does allow animals. About: To comfort any animal brings comfort to myself. I have experience with all kinds of pets and love all animals but cats are what you’d find in my home. It’s a common misconception that cats don’t require much attention but as a domesticated animal they thrive on human companionship while also having many natural instincts to accommodate. Some require more attention than others depending on their personality. One of the most important instincts to satisfy is the need to hunt/play. There are some automatic or interactive toys that work well but for the most part the best toy is something on the end of a string attached to a wand/rod and their human’s participation. This way you can mimic the evasive movements of an actual prey for your cat to hunt. This provides exercise and stimulation and I would be happy to play with your cat(s) I’m very good at befriending anxious or less trusting cats and identifying the things that exacerbate their anxiety and finding solutions to comfort them. I also have experience administering medications. With a cat the easiest route of administration is a liquid solution mixed in with some wet food or treat or squirted into the back side of the mouth with an oral syringe. Giving a cat a pill can be more difficult but it can be done. I would wrap them in a towel or blanket, lubricate pill so it doesn’t stick to fingers or tongue, tilt head back and insert pill into back of the mouth, return head to level position and rub their throat and/or slightly blow on the nose to stimulate swallowing reflexes, then give them a treat and love them! When possible I scoop our 3 cats’ boxes after every use. I’m happy to clean and scoop your cat’s box(es) with the same vigilance. A clean litter box is one factor in ensuring a healthy and happy cat!

“This is my first time using Stephanie for my 1 year old pup. I chose her because she was closer to home. Great reviews that are absolutely well deserved! We were sent pictures and updates many times a day which I loved. My pup is very skiddish of other dogs so I have to be very picky who I leave her with. Stephanie did great introducing my pup to other dogs she was keeping and they ended up being big friends! I will definitely use Stephanie again!”
“I was very impressed with how well Terry took care of Buster. You could tell she really loves animals. He loved being with her! She took him for walks and spent a lot of time with him on her back porch. She asked lots of questions to ensure Buster was getting everything he needed. She continually sent me little messages about their day and adorable photos. I will definitely use her as a sitter again. Thank you so much Terry!”
“I hesitate to leave a review, honestly, because I don’t want more people taking up all of Amber’s availability! She really helped me out of a jam—two jams, actually—when she accepted my last-minute booking (like, basically 24 hours notice) when my other sitter canceled for an emergency, AND she VERY generously agreed to watch my dog for an extra night when I was stuck overnight at a the airport. Amber shared daily photos and videos and other updates. She’s both proactive and quickly responsive. Will happily trust her to watch my pup anytime. But for my sake, please just…find someone else 🙏🏻”
“I'd rate 10 stars if I could. George and his family took excellent care of my dog. They were incredibly accommodating. Their dog is so well behaved, I knew from the start it was going to be good. All my expectations were met and exceeded. When I came to pick my pup up, he was happy to see me, but otherwise calm and relaxed. I am so pleased.”
“We were nervous about introducing our elderly pup, Bear, to a new boarding situation but with his mobility issues, taking him on trips just isn’t feasible any more, Jaxen assuaged those fears quickly, and took such fantastic care of him! Apparently, the specialized in elderly dog care. Bear was a happy, relaxed boy when we came back. We will definitely be utilizing Jaxen again.”

“Christina is very nice and welcoming. My dog loved her and her husband right away. They took excellent care of her and pampered her when they found out how spoiled she is. This was the first time we have left her with anyone other than our friends so it was stressful but Christina made us feel good about leaving her with them. Echo is a wonderful care giver and took my 3 at the last minute which I will never forget! She did an awesome job and sent pictures often. This always makes me feel a little less guilty for leaving by seeing them relaxed and having fun.
