About: Hi! I’m a psychology major at Augusta University and currently work as an RBT supporting autistic children, which has made me patient, attentive, and very comfortable building trust through positive reinforcement. I’ve loved dogs my entire life, especially after owning and training my German Shepherd for 8 years, and I now have a puppy of my own who keeps me enjoying daily walks, park time, and training every day. (For boarding, she would stay with my family so your pet would have my full attention and a calm space.) I especially like working on basic positive reinforcement with treats or a clicker when wanted. I love petting and getting to know every dog I see, so any chance to spend time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. I have open availability! Sometimes I may have an appointment or time commitment, but generally I am free throughout the week. I don’t have any scheduling or preference issues with overnight, extended, or evening hours either. I live in a townhome with a fenced patio. The patio has dirt/grass for going potty, a concrete center, and a backdoor that opens to a walking path. I have two floors with the bottom floor being hardwood (accident friendly!). For crate-preferred pets I have a 48in kennel (deep cleaned before and after use), or if crate-averse there is a guest bedroom that would be situated. I bring my own doggy bags and leash, but can use whatever is preferred. If desired I also have Buddy Trainers mini training treats that can be used for positively reinforcing your pet. My default approach is to focus primarily on your pet’s comfort rather than training, with the option of passive training being added into that approach. If boarding, I could take your pet on walks around the very dog-pro community where there are consistently opportunities to socialize, explore, and play in the paths available. Also with boarding my puppy would not share the space and would be at my family’s throughout your pet’s stay. Regardless of whether your pet is boarding at my home or if sitting at your’s, I have no problem deep (and properly) cleaning any accidents that come up. My approach with all pets, especially dogs, is positive reinforcement through doing things they enjoy. I try to set your pet up for success by matching their energy and minimizing any reason to feel anxious, sized up, or uncomfortable in general.

About: I've had dogs of all sizes and ages since childhood. My husband faithfully walks the dogs at least once a day. We have two small dogs who love to play and run. We would love to have your dogs here with us well-taken care of while you are away! Tessa is a stay-at-home mom who occasionally babysits or subs at school. If we accept your reservation, she will be here at home to take care of the dogs as needed. We have a fully fenced yard. I work to ensure that a pet who is not allowed outside a certain door stays inside. When I fed my friend’s five dogs a couple of months ago, I was told one was an escape artist, but I successfully left out of the front door without her getting out. About: I have been caring for fur friends since I was in high school. I was a pet parent of my own! I love any pet unconditionally just as any pet parent should. I also have experience in training dogs due to me having one of my own. I have 6 years of experience. About: Hi! I’m a psychology major at Augusta University and currently work as an RBT supporting autistic children, which has made me patient, attentive, and very comfortable building trust through positive reinforcement. I’ve loved dogs my entire life, especially after owning and training my German Shepherd for 8 years, and I now have a puppy of my own who keeps me enjoying daily walks, park time, and training every day. (For boarding, she would stay with my family so your pet would have my full attention and a calm space.) I especially like working on basic positive reinforcement with treats or a clicker when wanted. I love petting and getting to know every dog I see, so any chance to spend time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. I have open availability! Sometimes I may have an appointment or time commitment, but generally I am free throughout the week. I don’t have any scheduling or preference issues with overnight, extended, or evening hours either. I live in a townhome with a fenced patio. The patio has dirt/grass for going potty, a concrete center, and a backdoor that opens to a walking path. I have two floors with the bottom floor being hardwood (accident friendly!). For crate-preferred pets I have a 48in kennel (deep cleaned before and after use), or if crate-averse there is a guest bedroom that would be situated. I bring my own doggy bags and leash, but can use whatever is preferred. If desired I also have Buddy Trainers mini training treats that can be used for positively reinforcing your pet. My default approach is to focus primarily on your pet’s comfort rather than training, with the option of passive training being added into that approach. If boarding, I could take your pet on walks around the very dog-pro community where there are consistently opportunities to socialize, explore, and play in the paths available. Also with boarding my puppy would not share the space and would be at my family’s throughout your pet’s stay. Regardless of whether your pet is boarding at my home or if sitting at your’s, I have no problem deep (and properly) cleaning any accidents that come up. My approach with all pets, especially dogs, is positive reinforcement through doing things they enjoy. I try to set your pet up for success by matching their energy and minimizing any reason to feel anxious, sized up, or uncomfortable in general.

So I'd definitely recommend him for your puppies and older dogs. They got lots of playtime outside but they were also kept inside with people and other dogs so they were not left lonely. Socializing is very important to me as my dogs are inside dogs and used to being with people. It was a great experience for us and we will definitely book again.”
