About: I grew up with dogs and had a special bond with my family’s dog in college. She loved when I would take her on an “interval run.” I recently successfully fed my friend’s five dogs. Please, I would love to meet your dog(s) with you there to get to know them first. I am officially insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates in case of an inopportune incident taking place while my clients’ pets and homes are in my care. About: I have taken care of my fair share of animals over the past decade: cats, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, you name it! I myself have 3 cats and understand their body language, needs, and quirks. I also have an iron stomach and nothing pet-wise can phase me. I also have a firm belief in keeping pet owners up to date with photos and texts after every visit. I work a very consistent 9:30-6:30 job with a guaranteed 1 hour break every day. This means I can make consistent visits between 8-9am, 12-1p, and 6:30-10pm each day. Weekends are *usually* free for at least 2 checks a day. My schedule rarely changes and that lets me plan for consistency! With 3 cats, I have long-since memorized what plants and foods are toxic as well as feline CPR and how to recognize signs of distress and pain in cats. I myself aim for daily litter cleanings, consistent feedings, and plenty of active play and love for my cats and any others I'm entrusted with. I have nursed several kittens back to health and have fostered as well. As far as dogs grow- they're the animals I grew up with 4 chihuhuas, a Border Collie, and a variety of loveable mutts through my childhood. I also got my start as a pet sitter walking dogs and doing overnight stays at homes to keep anxious pups company.

I’m a psychology major at Augusta University and currently work as an RBT supporting autistic children, which has made me patient, attentive, and very comfortable building trust through positive reinforcement. I’ve loved dogs my entire life, especially after owning and training my German Shepherd for 8 years, and I now have a puppy of my own who keeps me enjoying daily walks, park time, and training every day. (For boarding, she would stay with my family so your pet would have my full attention and a calm space.) I especially like working on basic positive reinforcement with treats or a clicker when wanted. I love petting and getting to know every dog I see, so any chance to spend time with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. I have open availability! Sometimes I may have an appointment or time commitment, but generally I am free throughout the week. I don’t have any scheduling or preference issues with overnight, extended, or evening hours either. I live in a townhome with a fenced patio. The patio has dirt/grass for going potty, a concrete center, and a backdoor that opens to a walking path. I have two floors with the bottom floor being hardwood (accident friendly!). For crate-preferred pets I have a 48in kennel (deep cleaned before and after use), or if crate-averse there is a guest bedroom that would be situated. I bring my own doggy bags and leash, but can use whatever is preferred. If desired I also have Buddy Trainers mini training treats that can be used for positively reinforcing your pet. My default approach is to focus primarily on your pet’s comfort rather than training, with the option of passive training being added into that approach. If boarding, I could take your pet on walks around the very dog-pro community where there are consistently opportunities to socialize, explore, and play in the paths available. Also with boarding my puppy would not share the space and would be at my family’s throughout your pet’s stay. Regardless of whether your pet is boarding at my home or if sitting at your’s, I have no problem deep (and properly) cleaning any accidents that come up. My approach with all pets, especially dogs, is positive reinforcement through doing things they enjoy. I try to set your pet up for success by matching their energy and minimizing any reason to feel anxious, sized up, or uncomfortable in general.

About: I have plenty experience with caring for different types of animals. I have been in programs that have allowed me to foster kittens and puppies until they are eligible for adoption. In addition, I also have pets on my own. A dog and a cat is which my mother currently has and with me right an older dog that still like to have fun. Personally I am a very neat person. I like run around a have fun with pets but always keep a clean space. I am a very patient person that can work with animals of different backgrounds and work well with animals that are not fully trained. Your pet's safety is my primary concern and I treat every animal as if it is my own.
