I currently work 8-5 but half day on Fridays. I can stop by before or after work to check on animals. About: I’m the type of person that if I see someone handing out free puppies or if I see a lost dog, I’ll be taking them home. I’ve always had such empathy for animals, that on multiple occasions I have done this. For example, last year there was a man handing out free puppies outside of a petco. I almost immediately took him home. The feeling of taking him and giving him a bath, food, and water was so rewarding. I’ve since realized I love working with animals and wish to continue my work. I would absolutely love to help you out with watching your pet while you’re away. I’m currently a college student. About: I love animals. I have lots of cat experience and a bit less dog experience. I love to pet sit for my friends when they go out of town and I enjoy walking dogs for my daily exercise. My favorite thing to do these days is to stay home and watch movies with my cat or my parents’ 3-legged dog. I’m very attentive to the needs of animals to include their safety, cleanliness and health. I’m a nurse and I work 12 hour shifts. This means my schedule gives me more days off during the week when compared to a 9-5 job, but my schedule is not the same each week. If we schedule pet sitting in advance, this is what I would prefer. Last minute appointments would be fine too if I am off work for the day. I’m a bit of a night owl so weird hours are fine too. We have two sweet, dog-friendly cats and a gentle but giant Bernese Mountain Dog who loves having other doggy friends of all sizes to play with! We take several walks a day and play outside regularly with plenty of cuddles on the couch in between. We also have two kids age 7 and 9 that are in school during the week days (and summer camp in the summer) who love playing with animals! We are a non-smoking family and prioritize the healthy safety of all humans and animals in our home.

When caring for pets in someone else's home, I start by obtaining detailed instructions from the owner about feeding schedules, exercise routines, and any specific needs. I make sure to familiarize myself with the household rules regarding pet access and do my best to maintain the pets' regular routines to minimize their stress. I always provide fresh water, follow feeding instructions, and engage the pets in regular play and exercise. I keep a watchful eye on them for any signs of distress or health issues, and I make sure to keep the environment clean by tidying up after them. Spending quality time with the pets is important to me, as it helps them feel secure and loved. I also familiarize myself with the nearest veterinarian and have the owner's contact information handy for emergencies. Lastly, I keep the owner updated with messages or photos to reassure them that their pets are happy and well cared for. By following these guidelines, I ensure a positive experience for both myself and the pets.

About: Total animal lover. I work full time but I have three days off a week. I love keeping animals when I can. I don't have any breed restrictions or age limits. I don't ever get asked to keep puppies but I will. I will keep up with whatever exercise your dog requires. I like to keep dogs tired so there's lots of play time and walking at my house. I can follow any feeding/potty schedule. I am capable and comfortable with caring for special needs dogs. I can administer any medication, if needed. I try not to board more than one dog at a time unless it's urgent to my client. I have a deep love of all animals so I can assure your dog will get plenty of attention and good care. I work Wednesday through Saturday so my off days are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday. This doesn’t include holidays. Willing to negotiate or work with other schedules I have a gate around my property at my home and I use baby gates to keep dogs out of certain areas (great if dogs need to be separated).
