My 17 year old, special needs, completely blind, silky mix dog, Paisley, who also has dementia, stayed with Ms Annette for 8 days while we were on vacation. We were able to bring Paisley to meet Ms Annette prior to boarding her. Things could not have gone better. Ms. Annette was patient, kind, caring, and gave Paisley time to come to her and be comfortable. Her home was spotless as was the separate grooming / boarding area. Dogs have use of / access to both the boarding and home areas, as well as a spacious, outdoor, shady, grassy backyard area to play. Ms Annette even allows dogs on her couch. Because of her age and special needs status, it became impossible to leave Paisley at a typical kennel as they were unable to provide the specialized care and attention she needed. Ms. Annette was able to provide the specialized care needed, provided a lot of love and belly rubs, and even taught Paisley to use her doggy door!! She kept Paisley under her usual home routine which resulted in a smooth transition home. When going to pick her up, Ms Annette greeted me with Paisley in her arms. Paisley was clean, as were her doggy blanket and bed. During her stay, Ms Annette sent daily updates, photos, and videos, confirming Paisley was adjusting well, had made new friends. Ms Annette is 100% recommended. Great care! Lots of love!! Communicative! Board your pet worry free knowing they’ll be very well cared for with Ms. Annette!”

I love animals and meeting new types of dogs and cats! I work part time during the day but I have plenty of free time during the week and on weekends. About: I am almost done with my CVA, which has given me hands on experience with animal care and a strong understanding of animal behavior, basic health needs, and how to recognize when a pet may be stressed, uncomfortable, or need extra attention. About: I’ve been a pet owner and caretaker most of my life. I’ve helped or solely taken care of my own pets, family pets and those of friends. I have experience with elderly dogs and puppies big and small, as well as giving oral medications if needed. I make sure to be meticulous and careful especially with the precious fur children of others. My experience with dogs is much stronger than with cats but I certainly don’t mind helping out with kitties:) I just started working, so at the moment availability is a bit limited, I’m free Sundays and Mondays from work. My calendar will be updated as frequently as possible for availability. I make sure to keep a good eye on pets, taking them out regularly and making sure they’re properly fed and cared for, especially should specific needs have to be met. Typically, I spend my time in the home near and around the animals, even if not actively playing or interacting with them. I let pets go on as they normally would, so as to let them stay comfortable, as long as I can keep an eye on them.

I currently care for a cat who has been staying with me, and Monday through Friday I care for two of my neighbors’ dogs by letting them out, feeding and watering them, and spending time playing with them. I enjoy caring for animals and making sure they receive the attention and care they need. In my home, I care for our dogs and cats by feeding and watering them, grooming and bathing them, playing with them, and working on basic training. I make sure they are comfortable, cared for, and get plenty of attention. In a client’s home, I would follow their specific instructions and routines to make sure their pets receive the same level of care and attention they are used to.
