“I am so glad that I found Carolina and her family. She is a true animal lover, and it shows in how much attention and patience she had put into caring for my cat, Mochi. Carolina went far and above beyond expectations. My Mochi had a big beautiful room with a brightly quilted bunk bed to climb on and plenty of cat trees, scratching posts, and windows in which to luxuriate in the sun. He could also enjoy piped-in music throughout the day and a big flat screen TV. He was warmly welcomed into the family home, roaming freely and playing with Carolina's many pets. He loved his vacation at Carolina's as much as I had enjoyed mine! I might also mention one aspect of this Rover experience that is critical for me and should be important to consider for other pet owners. Carolina keeps her boarding spaces immaculate. Bedding, cushions, and bowls are spotlessly sanitized, and all of her pets are on a rigid flea and worm prevention program, so there is no danger of cross contamination. I am very pleased and feel that my Mochi had a five star hotel experience for a fraction of the price.”

Our usually shy, anxious kitty Daisy warmed up to her immediately which is incredibly unusual, but Jaclyn clearly has an innate ability to make pets feel safe, secure and loved in her presence. Her communication is excellent- she sent multiple photos, videos and updates with every drop in and went above and beyond to take care of not just Daisy, but also a group of outside community cats that we feed who *also* took to her right away. When we got home from our trip, our kitty was calm, content and like we’d never left (whereas in the past when others have fed her in our absence she would be anxious and hide for a couple of hours until she re-acclimated). I work during the week days but my wife Ruby is home during the day. During the weekends we both are home. We have a fenced in yard and a park near by that we can walk to. Our two male dogs are neutered and we will only care for one family's pet(s) at a time.

About: Years of experience with cats and dog. Comfortable with any and every size, large or small. I am a runner, so if you have a high energy baby I would love to run with them! I currently work full-time with a strange schedule. Mondays and Wednesdays I work from 7:30. Take a break at 11:00. Go back at 2:30. Get off at 6:00. Tuesdays and Thursdays go in at 12:00. Get off at 7:00 Fridays I go in at 6:30 and get off at 1:00. Off on the weekends I would love to spend time with your fur babies playing with them, making sure they're fed with water brushing them playing with them for however long you see fit. If walks are required that is absolutely no problem. Would also love to work with your dogs with obedience and toy play.
About: I have been involved in working with animals on a providing-care basis since I was around 12 years old. I began through petsitting my neighbors dogs when they would go out of town. When I began college I got a job working at our local petstore which taught me so much more about caring for pets. I have also dedicated plenty of time to volunteering with animal shelters and fostering pets till they find their forever home. Now, I have multiple pets of my own and love any and all pets I have ever come across. I am currently a full time remote employee so I work from home M-F each week 7-4pm. Thankfully, working from home allows for flexibility and time with your pets the majority of the time. I do have a cat of my own so I would prefer to care for animals in their owners home, however my availability right now is completely open! I have a cat who suffers from stomach issues and is on a special prescription diet with supplements. At my apartment complex there is a dog park, and plenty of space to walk dogs. I can train puppies, so if you are working long hours and need help with potty training, crate training, or mastering basic commands such as sit, I would love to help you with that while I'm there! My schedule is currently open for the entire summer, Monday through Sunday. If I am needed early morning hours or late evening hours, I am also open to discussing this. During in-home check-ins for dogs, only with your approval, I will give your pup treats for training purposes. Typically I will use single pieces of your dog's kibble to motivate them in learning commands. When it comes to cats, if you are hiring me to take care of your cat while you are gone for work or a trip, I will treat them as an indoor-only cat, no exceptions.
