About: Hii, my name is Stephany! I am a senior at the University of South Florida majoring in Environmental Science & Policy. I have many years of experience with dogs, cats, birds, and rabbits. I have volunteered before at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay and at a local animal rehabilitation center in Orlando. I have experience with responsibilities such as feeding, walking, cleaning, and providing love and companionship. I have also have experience in administering special diets to animals and enrichment. I always keep my home cleaned and tidy and make sure to always keep my space pet-friendly. I will provide regular updates including photos to the owner since I know it can be hard to be away from your little one! I can’t wait to meet your pets! About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little girl, and we got our first cat just a few years ago but they’ve seem to have fallen in love with me lol. My main concern is making sure your pet is happy and comfortable, doesn’t matter the situation. I’m very gentle with them and I always make sure to communicate or ask when necessary, I don’t want to assume and be wrong or not inform you if something happens. **Please do not book boarding for the weekend if your pet cannot handle being alone for 12-13 hours (in regards to going to the bathroom), as I work every weekend** I am in college and I work full time. I typically work 3-12 hour shifts a week, but my class schedule is more flexible. Please just ask if a date/time works and I will let you know! I’m in an apartment so I don’t have a lot of space inside. The complex does have a little fenced in dog area, and there are some dog parks in the area that I would be willing to go to if you have a more active pet. I don’t have anything toxic in the apartment, or in a place they could reach at least (medicines/rubbing alcohol, that sort of stuff). I also like going on longer walks, 20-30 min if the weather is nice.

I have been contacted through work internal team chats to go help the crow that flew into a window (at work). I have carriers and necessary supplies to help in these situations. That crow went immediately to Blue Pearl ( who will take in anything and help save it, humanely euthanize it, or then send to wildlife rehabilitation centers. I can care for all animals and want to be there for your pets.

“Melissa & Alan were so warm and welcoming to my energetic Apollo. They were also very patient with me, as the nervous dog momma leaving her pup in a new place for the first time. The meet & greet went so well that I immediately booked them that night. Apollo had access to toys, plenty of space to run, and endless belly rubs (his favorite). Melissa & Alan made sure Apollo was comfortable on his first night with them and were great in communicating with me and sending me pictures.
