About: Hello! My name is Amanda and I have been caring for pets since I was 14 years old! I am currently a second year student at the University of South Florida, I am majoring in Criminology with a minor in American Sign Language and Intelligence Studies. I have a broad customer base with pets of all ages, breeds, and needs. I have grown up with pets my whole life and now have a kitten of my own! While you are away, I will take care of your fur babies as if they were my own. Whether it be throwing a frisbee all day or lounging around, your fur baby will be satisfied and happy when you come home! I send pictures of your pets while you are away as I know that being apart from them is hard! I am currently working part time and am usually only away from home for a few hours at a time. I get my work schedule two weeks in advance so that allows me to properly plan around your pets needs. I am currently taking classes online through USF so my schedule is flexible! I live in a pet friendly apartment with a dog park in the complex! I know the importance of dogs getting out and exploring. I'm athletic so I can keep up with the faster dogs and can also cater to your pets individual needs.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little girl, and we got our first cat just a few years ago but they’ve seem to have fallen in love with me lol. My main concern is making sure your pet is happy and comfortable, doesn’t matter the situation. I’m very gentle with them and I always make sure to communicate or ask when necessary, I don’t want to assume and be wrong or not inform you if something happens. I am in college, I have classes 3 days a week, so I’m home quite a bit. I do not currently work so I’m typically free the remaining days. I volunteer/workout in my free time so I can be flexible! Just ask if a day/time works, I’ll do my best to accommodate! I’m in an apartment so I don’t have a lot of space inside. The complex does have a little fenced in dog area, and there are some dog parks in the area that I would be willing to go to if you have a more active pet. I don’t have anything toxic in the apartment, or in a place they could reach at least (medicines/rubbing alcohol, that sort of stuff). I also like going on longer walks, 20-30 min if the weather is nice.

I was lead dog handler at my previous job and I made sure all dogs in my care are safe and taken care of as if they are my own. I own 2 dogs, Kayden (6) a Pomeranian and Astro (4) a schnoodle. I’ve also been around dogs since I was a kid and having a Great Dane as your first pet definitely helped for my love of dogs and animals. I do work full time at the hospital. I’m someone who’s very particular about my dog’s care — she’s a sport/competition dog and has a few quirks lol — and Ronda was very flexible and willing to follow all of my instructions.
