About: Hi everyone! New to Rover after pet sitting from word of mouth and referrals back in North Carolina. I am flexible with pricing to start generating some bookings and reviews in FL! I have been pet sitting for over 10 years with all types of dogs. I have experience fostering dogs of all breeds and sizes, most which come from bad situations and need help with their confidence and training, so I am able to help potty train and work through other issues. I have one small dog, Nemo. Care would be private (only your dog and Nemo) safety is my first priority, and they will be watched at all times! My avalibility is set only for days that I will be able to be home 24/7. If other days are needed and your dog is good to be by themselves for any certain time, message me and I will be more available !! I work from home Monday and Friday and reserve my weekends for spending time with my pup. My dog Nemo has separation anxiety so I am normally home with him all day, or bring the dogs with me to a local restaurant or park to get outside and be active. “Valerie cared for our pets Ruby, Zeus,Zoya and Sunny- a dog and 3 cats. We also have an aquarium. She also fed our fish. Our senior dog Ruby had several indoor poop and pee accidents indoor in between visits much more than usual. Valerie cleaned up each time she came for drop-in visits. Ruby is usually very anxious when we return from trips but this time she didn’t seem anxious at all. Will recommend Valerie.”

About: I've had dogs all my life and gone through extensive dog training as well as being a foster mom for the Southeast Beagle Rescue. I currently have a beagle named Riley that I adopted through the Humane Society and was unfortunately one of the 4000 Envigo beagles that were rescued. He loves playing with other dogs and is very social. I work from home, which gives me time to spend with your dog. This also makes drop off and pick up convenient for everyone. I also have a two Dog maximum limit. About my home/services: I live in a cozy condo I own in South Tampa with a fenced in backyard. I am fine with dogs on the couch and bed. I have experience with older dogs, special needs animals and administering medication. Expect a lot of pictures and videos of your dog having fun! I require a meet and greet. This way you and your dog will be more comfortable when you leave them in my care since it will not be the first time we have met when you drop them off leading to less stress when you leave. Criteria: Activity level low to medium. Absolutely no puppies. No dogs that bark at everything (unless someone knocks at the door) or dogs with separation anxiety. We look forward to meeting you. 🐶 I work from home, which gives me time to spend with your dog. This also makes drop off and pick up convenient for everyone. Drop off and pick up times are from 8 AM to 9 PM. I have a fenced in backyard. Dogs are allowed on the bed and couch. Feel free to bring their bed or anything else that makes them comfortable. Whatever your rules are, they are the rules here so if they aren't allowed on furniture...no problem.

About: My husband and I had a German shepherd for 13 years that we recently said goodbye to and have taken care of dogs/cats of all ages for friends and family. Great with seniors and big dogs. My husband grew up with 5 dogs in his household of all different breeds. Can administer medication and help with training if needed! I work from home twice a week and my husband is fully remote so between the two of us we will be home with your pup all day to watch them closely and ensure they are never alone. We live in a small pet friendly apartment in a walkable and pet friendly neighborhood. We have dog toys, enrichment toys, and dogs beds in the home but please bring your own if your pet prefers! We took our dog everywhere with us and know all the pet-friendly areas should your dog prefer spending most of their time outdoors.
About: I have a cat of my own that is a rehabilitated stray. She’s got a few medical issues, but having her has taught me a lot about anxious/aggressive animal tendencies and the best way to care for them. My friends and family also have a lot of different pets so I’ve been exposed to many different animal personalities/breeds. I have a pet bearded dragon as well! So even reptile care is familiar to me. My schedule changes weekly; I’m currently working a waitress job. My shifts aren’t very long, about 6 hrs - so I will be available sporadically throughout the day and evening, depending on what times I work. I can provide services inside my own home, or care for pets in theirs! Whatever works best. However I do have a pet cat of my own and I’m located in an apartment complex - just a heads up! My boyfriend and I have watched a dog overnight for 2 weeks before. Our dog, Piper is nice and relaxed and gets along well with others. She loves having a friend around like she did when I was in college living with my roommate who had a Maltese. Day to day: I wake up at 7, walk my dog, then feed her. We hang out, I might go run some errands and puppy proof the apartment before I leave. I'll come back and let her out again. At night I let her out once after I feed her at 7, so about 8:30, then once more before I go to bed. I play with my dog a lot and she likes to snuggle. I would do all these things for your dog and anything else you request! My schedule is flexible, so I can fit walks into your dog’s routine with ease. I’m based in South Tampa and happy to travel up to 45 minutes. I keep my bookings consistent and reliable, and I’ll always show up on time and ready to give your pup a great walk. Since I offer dog walking, I come to you and care for your dog in their own familiar environment. I follow your instructions on leashing, routes, and routine exactly. Safety is my top priority: I keep your dog leashed, avoid hazards, stay alert to their body language, and never put them in a situation that feels off. My sister is a vet, so I know how to spot when something is wrong.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, especially French Bulldogs, and have experience caring for animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to hamsters, fish, and even horses. I also volunteered at a dog rescue in Chicago for about a year, so I’m very comfortable with dogs who are shy, nervous, need patience, or simply take a little extra time to warm up. I currently have a very friendly French Bulldog of my own, so I’m especially familiar with dogs who need a little extra attention or have health considerations. He recently had spinal surgery, which has given me firsthand experience with giving medication, following restrictions, keeping up with special care instructions, and being extra attentive to a dog’s comfort and mobility. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. Whether your dog wants three long walks a day and nonstop playtime or would rather curl up on the couch and get attention, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I genuinely love having animals around and treat every dog in my care like they’re my own. I work from home full-time, which makes my schedule extremely flexible and allows me to give pets a lot of attention throughout the day. Your dog will not be left alone for long stretches while I’m at work. I’m able to take multiple walks throughout the day, accommodate different potty schedules, give medications or additional care when needed, and adjust my routine around your dog’s normal schedule. I’m also very flexible with drop-off and pick-up times and will do my best to make things as easy and convenient as possible for you. I have an elevator and potty area in my building so no need for stairs/going far! I want every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and at home while they’re with me. My dog is extremely friendly and would love to keep them company, but I’m also happy to give dogs their own space and alone time whenever they need it. I’m able to completely separate a dog if needed and care for them that way! I’m very attentive to each dog’s personality, routine, and individual needs, including medications, dietary restrictions, anxiety, or other special care. Dogs are welcome on the couch and in my bed, and since I work from home, they’ll get plenty of attention, supervision, and love throughout the day. I’m willing to send photo updates throughout the stay, usually one update every 4-5 hours, so you can feel at ease knowing everything is going okay!
About: Love and grew up with dogs my entire life! Have had multiple different breeds. We raised multiple puppies starting from 8 weeks old so I know how to encourage dogs well. If I was any animal… I would be my dog😋 I am available for dog walking and drop ins every weekend and weekdays 5pm and on. I love to walk and would love your furry friend to join me!! There are multiple dog parks in my apartment complex and many save neighborhood streets around me to walk on. I love the surrounding homes and so will your furry friend!
