“Tracey was our knight in shining armor for this trip. Our regular sitter at home backed out last minute and we had to bring our dog with us on vacation to a facility that didn’t allow pets. I was a wreck trying to figure out how to navigate the situation when I found Tracey who was only 5 mins away. She graciously took our Sophia in, who had never been away from us before, despite her being very nervous. I was also not 100% sure about the potty training situation since she had not stayed anywhere away from home before, but Tracey reassured me that it would be fine and took her in so we could enjoy our trip; mostly stress free. I was also a little apprehensive as well as my little girl and she sent us pictures and updates so we could have peace of mind during her stay. Sophia seemed to warm up to her quickly which was also reassuring. So grateful we had this option.”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of dogs practically my whole life. I love snuggles and play time and have the best napping couch! I work full-time from home, so I’m able to watch dogs at my place during the day and and free weekends. My schedule is semi-flexible and allows me to take time for walks and care. My home has a fenced in yard that is great for running and play time. I also live in a great neighborhood perfect for long walks.

About: My undergraduate studies in Animal Cognition first brought me to Florida six years ago. I instantly fell in love with the sand, sun, and ability to truly live an outdoor lifestyle. And, it only gets better now that I get to share all these beautiful things with my rescued GSP pup! I have dedicated my professional career to studying the behavior of animals, whether it's marine mammals, horses, or our beloved canine companions. About: I feel like that animals are just drawn to me! I feel like that I am very gentle around all animals and able to give them the attention they need. I do work nearby and could even pop in after work on week nights! But I’m mostly available all day on Tuesday, Friday and Saturdays! I am in an apartment and there is a large dog park across from where I live and there is a large complex to walk around and pond.

“Aurora was awesome! We didn’t worry about our two boys at all with her watching them while we went snorkeling. 1. She came to pick up our boys at 7am at our hotel. She was on time even though it was really early. She even had an impact crate in her car in case of bad/crazy drivers. 2. She sent us very detailed updates including pictures, number of water breaks, and potty breaks. 3. She brought our boys back to the hotel twice! We missed her the first time, our fault, but she was super sweet about it. 4. Our boys came back looking happy and tired! Their step counter logged crazy numbers! Thank you Aurora! About: I've grown up with dogs almost my entire life, and I have nearly a decade of experience as a kennel worker at a pet resort. As a dog owner, pet care is a part of my daily routine. For me, it's almost instinct. Family isn't a question of blood or legal relation; it's who you live and grow up with. If you have only one animal, you probably have a reason; I can keep them away from other animals(domestic or wild) if required. I know that pets need constant supervision, like a toddler, but with better hair. I will make sure they get breakfast and dinner(and lunch, if they get lunch), potty time every couple hours, and exercise(walks and play). I will also clean up after them, and hide meds in food if necessary.

I had never left him before but we were vacation and my daughter wanted to go snorkeling. Not a service dog friendly activity. Patience put us at ease from the second we walked up to her door. About: We own one dog and had two dogs before that. Dogs feel comfortable and loved here. No matter if short or long stays and big or small, old or young dog - there's always room and fun to be had. My husband and I grew up with dogs and can't be without. We have toys and some treats but individual dog-approved is always better. When boarding a dog over a time period that requires feeding I expect food to be provided. While I take any dog and treat it like my own I need to know in advance if there are medical or behavioral issues. I'm a stay-at-home mom of four little ones (10-2yo) We get up early every morning and go to bed rather late. I have a fenced yard, a super friendly dog and my kids grew up with dogs so know how to treat/ not treat dogs. I can also separate dogs if needed. Dogs are always loosely supervised. I am a stay-at-home mom, homeschooling 3 out of 4 kids and so am extremely flexible to all needs of your fur baby. My yard is fenced in for drop-offs that enjoy outside and we have a separate room if a dog requires a calmer environment than the business of a bigger family. I grew up with various dogs and sized dogs. I know how to handle most tempers that are not aggressive. I understand every dog has its own personality and timeline. We have two cars so I am available to drive out for drop-ins and walking.

About: I watch my neighbors and friends pets while they’re out of town and I’ve had two dogs of my own!! Right now I have a pitbull I got from the shelter. I’m home everyday pretty much all day. Not only did she take incredible care of my dog, but she went above and beyond by picking her up and even giving her a bath before bringing her home. Her patio is perfect for high-energy dogs, with plenty of space to run, play, and burn off energy safely. It was such a relief knowing my dog was getting exercise, attention, and lots of love while I was away. Communication was excellent, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about the dogs she watches. My pup came home happy, clean, and exhausted from all the fun she had.
