About: I started caring for dogs over 20 years ago when I was working with a vet in Colorado doing a pet nutrition study with her. She was just starting a doggie daycare and I fell in love with the whole concept. When I moved back home to Ocala in 2007 there were no dog friendly places like there were in Colorado so I decided to open an in home dog daycare. I’ve been doing that for the last 18 years. I have years of experience in dog nutrition, dog boarding and daycare as well working with dogs with special needs whether emotional or due to abuse. I have experience with many different health issues in dogs such as epilepsy, diabetes, megaesophagus, and more. I’m am qualified to give injections, medication, and specialized care for dogs recovering from surgeries, injuries, and physical disabilities. I also have experience with pregnant and nursing moms and their puppies. Pet care is my full time job and life. I do not have any other job. I do have to keep a pretty organized schedule :) My home has a 6’ privacy fence and is set up for dogs to feel that they are at their second home. All dogs coming into my home are fully screened and temperament tested. All vaccinations, recent negative fecal, and proof of preventatives are required before staying. I do provide puppy care in owner’s homes, but not in my home until they are fully vaccinated. I do stay pretty full with boarding, but I am looking to expand and add the service of in-your-home visits mid-day during the week for dogs that have to stay home all day while mom and dad work.

I do stay pretty full with boarding, but I am looking to expand and add the service of in-your-home visits mid-day during the week for dogs that have to stay home all day while mom and dad work.
About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. I have fostered over 70 kittens spanning over the last eight years through Marion County Animal Services, where I cared for kittens needing extra socialization or just a loving home until they were ready to find forever homes! This experience taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to recognize animals’ needs and behaviors quickly. I also have a full house of pets of my own, including four cats and four dogs of varying sizes and energy levels, including two doodles, a chocolate lab, and a Great Pyrenees. Because of this, I am very comfortable handling pets both big and small and adapting to different temperaments, routines, and care needs. I treat every pet like my own and prioritize safety, consistency, and lots of love while they’re in my care. I’m a senior in high school and currently only have classes from 8:00 AM to 10:20 AM on weekdays. Because of this, I’m available most weekdays after 10:30 AM and have a very flexible daytime schedule. My weekend availability can vary slightly, but I keep my Rover calendar updated so it always reflects my current schedule. I’m typically available on Sunday afternoons and evenings as well. 😊 I have four indoor cats and four sweet dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets of different sizes and personalities. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and they receive lots of love and attention in my home every day. I’m happy to do drop-in visits, walks, or care for your pets in your home. During drop-ins, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, playtime, fresh food and water, and any other care they need. I also love being outdoors and going for walks, so I always enjoy bringing a furry friend along with me. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I truly love animals and am happiest when I’m spending time with them, so I can’t wait to meet and care for your furry family members. 🐾🩷
About: I’ve raised both a Husky–Poodle mix and a Standard Poodle from puppies, so I understand the attention, exercise, and care dogs need at every stage. I’m experienced with daily routines, walks, playtime, and making sure dogs feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. My schedule is very flexible during the week. I work as a sales representative, which allows me to move around my territory and return home as needed to check on dogs, provide walks, or give them attention. I am fully available on weekends Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a home with a fully fenced yard on about a quarter acre, giving dogs plenty of safe space to run and play. I also have two friendly dogs of my own—a Husky–Poodle mix and a Standard Poodle—who are used to being around other dogs. I make sure every dog is supervised, comfortable, and treated like part of the family.

Our dogs are English Bulldog Champions and one is intact, but Peggy manages his care profesionally--even on Thanksgiving day. As a vet technician she was also able to administer medication to our older dog. She lives on a farm so there is a lot of area for dogs to run off leash. They don't sleep in a kennel building, they sleep in her house! She is a lovely person with a good heart.”
