About: While living in Barbados recently, I noticed a cat that would frequent my back porch and meow at the door. After several bowl-deliveries of cat food, treat bribery, and weeks of patience, she finally let herself come into my home. She had dozens of health issues (a miscarriage, fleas, etc). and I rehabilitated her until placing her in a forever home in NY. Prior to this, I had minimal exposure to cats. Now, I realize I was missing out. Though most of my friends do not own cats, there are plenty of strays in Miami with a few frequent-flyers near my building that I always look for. I usually have cat treats handy in my purse to give them a quick snack and show them some attention.

Zasu had a bit of unexpected separation anxiety at first and Dayna quelled my worries and sure enough Zasu got over it after one day of visits from these two. I received tons of pictures and detailed descriptions of what transpired at every visit, which eased MY separation anxiety and feelings of guilt that I was leaving my cat alone for Christmas. About: I have a cat that I adopted when she was three months old at the humane society. Her name is Cleo and she’s currently 7 years old! She is the sweetest cat! I brush her and clip her nails, and I also brush her teeth and play with her! I did teach her how to sit, which was an accomplishment on its own. I also trained her to not scratch on my furniture too. I know most cats love their space, so I won’t be a bother to them unless they approach me or if they’re okay with interaction.

About: I have 5 dogs (3 miniature schnauzers, 1 giant schnauzer, and one small terrier mix). 2 of the 3 minis are senior dogs. Both of them were rescues and were traumatized. My 15 year old was rescued at 3 to 4 months because of the previous owner not wanting her anymore. My 11 year old was rescued at 7 years old from a severely abusive home. The other is a puppy, and the giant schnauzer is 2 years of age that were purchased from reputable breeders! My 1 year terrier was also abused and she came from the broward animal shelter. I also have a cat, and she’s 7 years old. I adopted her from the humane society and she’s the sweetest cat. I do have experience with traumatized animals, giving pills by mouth, brushing, brushing their teeth, cleaning their ears, and due to the amount of animals I have, I have a lot of patience! I also trained all of my dogs. I am not certified, but I did teach them basic tricks like sit, lay down, crate, and give me a paw. Besides that, I also have two bearded dragons. They are both in their own separate 4x2x2 enclosures. I am okay with feeding them bugs, as I do so twice to three times a week and greens for the rest of the days! I am a full time student, but I mostly stay at home due to online classes. I do pet care any chance I get due to having so many pets! Whatever you want me to do, I’ll do it. I want to make sure your fur baby is as comfortable and as happy as can be. I can give them medicine if they need it, or brush their fur, brush their teeth, clean their ears, and whatever else! This is what I do with my pets at home, so I wouldn’t mind doing it for yours. I also am okay with walking dogs, playing with them, and maybe teaching a trick or two!
About: I've been taking care of all breeds and sizes of dogs for the past 4 years, I've even fostered pitbulls, akita, and a great dane I have mostly open availability, any day and time your pet needs I'll be there. I want to make working with animals my only job :) I live in a large apartment but have plenty of fenced in community space to walk and play with dogs, there's also a few dog parks near me too.
