I HIGHLY recommend Betsy and Frida as your next Rover option!”

“Kathy was absolutely wonderful! Our cat is a senior kitty and is very shy. Kathy sent us photos after every visit and even encouraged our cat to come out of his hiding spot and spend some time with her, which he seemed to love. Kathy kept him well fed and hydrated, and our cat was very happy and relaxed when we came back home. We highly recommend Kathy!!”

About: I had cats growing up and loved them so much. One of my children was allergic to them so I have missed playing with them. I'm an empty nester with a longtime partner now so that is no longer and issue.
“Caroline comes with a wealth of experience and love for our four-legged babies. She was a major help to us during a really hard time and provided amazing care and comfort to our littles while we were away. She’s a great communicator, pays attention to details, and tries to help problem-solve when things pop up (one of my littles can be a bit, but she loved them all the same). It’s very evident to us she really cares and can handle a lot. We put her through the wringer, not by choice, and she took us on with compassion and professionalism.”

“This was the first time I used Sky to house and cat sit for me and I am very pleased. First of all, she came to my house to meet us and to discuss my cat's daily routine. She was very professional and attentive, and also gentle when approaching my cat. While I was away, Sky sent me a photo of my cat every day, along with a description of what they did that day, both of which I really appreciated. When I came home, I found everything very clean and in good order, including the litterbox and all of her dishes washed and ready for use. My bed was also freshly made, another very kind thing to do for me! I highly recommend using Sky as a pet sitter and a house sitter, you will be happy you did!”
“Rebeca took such good care of Didi that I've already booked her for my next out-of-town trip. I especially appreciated all the photos and videos she sent. Didi obviously liked her. Rebeca went over and above what I expected, so I trust her with my feline sidekick.”

“Nicole was awesome. She handled every one of my care requirements. She connected very well with my cat, he's usually slow to warm up to new people, but he warmed up to her right away. She was reliable, and easy to communicate with the whole time I was away. Highly recommend.”

“Caroline did a great job. She was prompt and sent us great notes on how all three of our cats behaved and ate. She communicates very well and truly cares about our pets.”

About: I grew up in Michigan always being around animals of all kinds. I was a part of 4-H for 12 years and have owned and taken care of horses since I was practically 5 years old competing in various equine competitions. My family always had indoor-outdoor cats that I loved dearly and my grandma owned a farm that I helped run. I have dog sat for several neighbors throughout my life since I was never fortunate enough to have one of my own. Luckily now I am an aunt to my brother's dog Odin who I have cared for. Today I reside in Florida with my furry friend Kaiah who is a beautiful long-haired cat that is very outgoing and spoiled. She loves car rides and goes everywhere with me. She even has a special bowl for her favorite treats. The reason why I made a rover is because I know what it is like to worry about the care of my pets while I am away! It breaks my heart that I could not bring my horse with me to Florida however I know my mom loves him and that he is getting the attention he needs. I want to be a motherly figure in your pet's life and provide comfort and quality time while also making sure they have been cleaned up after. Dogs, Cats, and Horses are my specialty. I enjoy fitness and spending time outdoors so if you are looking for someone to stop by and walk your dog, or play with your cat or exercise, brush and feed your horse please do not hesitate to contact me. I currently have a relaxed full time job where I can work from the comfort of my home, in my office, or anywhere with WIFI. I travel occasionally for work but am flexible if booked in advance. I think cleanliness is important! no one wants to come home to a stinky litter box and or a pile of poop. I think its important to make sure that dogs are being walked until they have went to the bathroom and that litter boxes are being cleaned out daily. Secondly, I think its important to make sure water is fresh and food is provided on a schedule or in my case the cat food bowl is always full (I let my cat eat whenever she is hungry and she is very healthy). Lastly and most importantly no matter what animal it is they need play time and attention weather it be a walk or a playing fetch at the park or playing with your cats favorite wand toy. Cleanliness Nutrition and Love !

“Tiffany is a fantastic caretaker. We have had her take care of our cat multiple times now and she is always reliable and communicative. Our cat can be a bit slow to come out of her shell and Tiffany sends us helpful updates when we're away. Thank you!!!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life. In high school, I fostered dogs, which gave me hands-on experience with different breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. Since 2017, I’ve also had a dog of my own, so I understand the daily responsibility, structure, and attention pets need to feel safe and happy. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic pups who need stimulation to more laid-back pets who just want companionship and consistency. I treat every animal like they’re my own. Real estate gives me a flexible, self-managed schedule, so I can easily fit pet care into my day. I’m often out and about locally, which makes drop-ins and walks convenient. I can accommodate mornings, midday visits, evenings, and weekends depending on your pet’s needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and care instructions closely to make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure in their familiar environment. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while also respecting your home and keeping everything clean and tidy. I’m happy to send photo and video updates so you can feel confident and connected while you’re away.
“Amazing sitter! Took wonderful care of my little princess and they immediately got along like long-lost friends. Professional, courteous, and stellar work; highly recommended.”

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was a little girl. I simply adore pets of any kind. If given the chance with your fur baby, I will treat them like my own. I currently live on the island of Longboat Key full time so this makes it perfect for individuals who work or are snowbirds and need a sitter only during certain months. I have a fully fenced in property and love to be outside and having fun with your pet. I also travel to your home too, if needed.
“This was my first time booking with Stephanie. I am visiting from out of town. She kept my 2 Cavaliers for the day and all went very well. She sent me pics of my babies throughout the day. They got outside time in the big fenced back yard and they were happy and healthy when I picked them up. I was very satisfied and will book again.”

About: Hi, I’m Nick. I provide structured, dependable pet care built around routine, supervision, and clear communication. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of breeds and personalities, from working dogs like Brittanys and English Labs to rare breeds like the Swedish Vallhound, as well as rescued strays and foster animals. I adjust care based on temperament, energy level, and age, ensuring each pet feels secure and engaged. This range of experience has taught me how to read behavior, manage different energy levels, and maintain a stable environment for dogs that thrive on structure as well as those who simply need consistency and patience. My goal is simple: treat every pet like family and give owners peace of mind knowing their companions are in good hands. Oh and lots of pictures :) Because I work from home, your pet is rarely left alone. I provide a stable, structured environment with consistent supervision throughout the day, ideal for dogs that thrive on routine and attentive care. Safety and structure come first in my home. I double check gates and entry points before every walk, use secure leashing practices, and maintain a controlled environment to prevent overstimulation. Whether caring for a senior cat or a high-energy retriever, I tailor each pet’s routine to match their age, temperament, and energy level to keep them safe, balanced, and comfortable.
“I contacted Justin on the same day that I was in need of his doggie daycare services. Justin was wonderful with my baby Cargo. He was extremely patient with me. He met every need that Cargo needed as well as taking care of all my requests or concerns. He brought cargo to the dog park twice and sent me pictures. If and when I go back to Longboat Key, Florida I will contact Justin to take care of my Cargo again.”

About: Thoughtful, personalized pet care for owners who want more than just a sitter. I provide a calm, attentive experience—with the option of gentle, structured socialization for pets who thrive with companionship. Grounded in more than two decades of animal care experience. If you’re looking for more than just a sitter—someone who will truly engage, enrich, and nurture your pet while you’re away—I'm here for you and your furry friend! I offer a unique pet sitting experience that goes beyond basic care. When appropriate and beneficial, I bring along my own well-trained, friendly dogs to provide safe, structured socialization and companionship for your pet. This can be especially supportive for dogs who enjoy play, benefit from social interaction, or simply feel more at ease with a calm, pack-like presence. I’m very intentional about energy, boundaries, and compatibility. My dogs are mature, well-socialized, and attuned—and I carefully assess each situation to ensure it’s a positive, stress-free experience for everyone. If your pet prefers solo care, I always honor that fully. What you can expect: • Thoughtful, attentive care tailored to your pet’s personality • Enrichment through play, presence, and connection • A calm, grounded environment (not chaotic or overstimulating) • Regular picture and video updates so you feel at ease while you’re away • And a CLEAN HOUSE when you come home! Because who wants chores right after a vacation 😊 My approach is rooted in respect—for your pet’s unique temperament, your home, and your peace of mind. Whether your pet thrives with companionship or prefers one-on-one care, I meet them exactly where they are. I keep my schedule intentionally limited during house sits so I can be fully present and provide a higher level of care, consistency, and connection. My background in animal care spans more than two decades, including hands-on experience working at a zoo and a children’s museum, where I cared for animals of all sizes and temperaments. Over the years, I’ve developed a calm, intuitive approach that helps pets feel safe, understood, and genuinely at ease. To ensure the best experience for everyone, I like to begin with a meet-and-greet. This allows us to connect, talk through your pet’s needs and routines, and make sure it feels like a natural, comfortable fit—for you, me, and your pet. I’d love to connect and see if we’re a good fit 🤍 I work from home on the weekdays, so I spend most of my time with the pets I stay with. Usually I'm up early, I enjoy a morning and afternoon walk, and a chill evening at home. I'm available for drop ins and dog walks any day of the week. Ask me about discounted visits when you refer a neighbor! I like taking the time for pets to know and feel completely comfortable around me. I use their treats, toys, and praise to build trust, and calm presence to meet shy pets. My approach with positive reinforcement training is to let animals know that I am listening to them, and give them opportunities to let me know what they are needing.
About: I'd be happy to help take care of your pet. I have lots of experience with many different types of animals. Request a service, and I'll see if I'm available. I can board your dog while you're at work, out of town, or if you just need a break from your dog for awhile. I'm available to walk dogs Tuesday-Thursday, most of the day, from 11am-sunset. I can usually board or house-sit dogs all week, just let me know when it would be. For now, I work from home, so I can take the dog out all throughout the day. I can board small or large dogs in my home. I can take boarded dogs walking and jogging. I have several very large dog crates for dogs.

About: I've volunteered at animal shelters, house sat retired, senior K-9s, and also helped exercise and house sit pets for friends and family regularly. Happy to help with walks, exercise, check-ins, and care. I'm currently attending school at Ringling College, but I am mostly available over the summer and after classes/weekends once the fall semester starts! I treat every pet with patience, care, and attention like they’re my own. During walks and check-ins, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, exercised, and cared for while sticking closely to your instructions and routines.
“Jose and Alexis are the best dog walkers I’ve had the experience working with. I’m currently recovering from surgery and they went above and beyond in taking care of Luna. They made sure she got all of her energy out so that I could recover without worrying about her getting all the exercise she needed. I will continue using Jose and Alexis for all my dog walking needs as long as they are available.”
“Joshua stepped right in and did a wonderful job with Gus. He walked him everyday at the park and all the neighbors mentioned what a great guy he is and seemed to really enjoy Gus. Will definitely rebook.”

About: Hey there! I am a Rover veteran, who took a break for a couple years to start my career and human family, but I am back and so happy to be! I am a proud dog momma of a 2 Australian Shepherds. I have had cat and dogs in my life for over 20 years. My pups are always pampered and treated like family. My perfect day is spent outside walking with my pups and ending the day with couch snuggles. We are a very active household. I have had experience with dogs of all sizes. From 5-130 pounds. I also have personal experience in taking care of multiple dogs — I used to be an owner of 3 dogs on my own! I can assure you, you’re sweet pup or kitty will be treated like the prince or princess they are and get lots of love and walks! I am currently a stay at home mom to one baby girl, so I have plenty of time to provide Rover services to meet you and your fur baby’s needs. Before booking a service with me, I am always happy to meet in person first and make sure I am a good match for your fur baby. If I am providing services in your home, my goal is to make your fur babies as comfortable as possible and give them as much love and attention as they deserve while their parent is away. I will happily follow your typical routine you have set for them while you are away!
About: I’ve spent my whole life around dogs, and caring for them has always come naturally to me. While I’ve raised puppies—like my sweet girl River, who I had from 8 weeks old to 3 years—I’ve grown to love the rhythm and bond that comes with dogs at every stage of life. What sets me apart is a deep sense of patience, attentiveness, and love that comes from years of hands-on experience. I’m especially comfortable with routines, emotional needs, and making sure your dog feels safe and cared for while you’re away. Whether your dog is energetic, mellow, senior, or somewhere in between, I show up with calm energy, genuine care, and a heart full of love for every pup I meet. I currently work remote so I have the flexibility to go on walks during the afternoon, evening, early morning or whenever they need to go out! I’m currently in an house with no other pets. I have plenty of room for them to hangout and feel safe. I’ll make sure they get lots of cuddles and walks.
About: I have always had a special patience for animals, and always found myself able to work with them, however challenging and especially however loving they can be. I am very ready to assist with your pet needs. I am currently working as a server, so one night stays are best rather than weekend stays. I have my own black cat who is spoiled with many cat friendly accommodations around the apartment, and her food, water and litter required daily upkeep. Because of my own animals I cannot currently board in my home but I am happy to come to your house and care for your fur baby there. About: I have always had a special connection to animals and had pets. I LOVE dogs and nurturing them deeper than most will go. Hands on care is my gift; cuddles, baths, walks, etc. I love to help anxious pets and older pets feel safe and cared for. I am currently a stay at home mom. I have tons of time everyday to care for pets or make home visits/take pets on walks. I have a large fenced in yard for dogs to run and play. I have one sweet girl dog that is dog friendly and loves to socialize! I also have a small child so all dogs must be kid friendly. I can crate dogs or use puppy diapers if needed.

“Eve did a great job caring for our dog, Jake. She obviously is very experienced in caring for dogs and understands and knows how to deal with their behaviors. We also appreciated Eve sending us pictures and updates on Jake over the several days he was with her. Highly recommend Eve to care for other’s pets.”

“Lori is amazing! Our dog was so nervous and scared coming to a new place. Lori took her time to get to know our dog and it didn’t take very long before our dog was enjoying Lori’s home and hanging with another furry friend. Thank you Lori!”
“My dog stayed with Karlee for 4 nights recently and he had such a great time! She brought him on multiple adventures including the beach and made sure to send many pics and update me daily. I would highly recommend Karlee for dog watching and sitting!”

“Terrific care and love generatedfrom Tracy to Millie. Plays ball and takes walks with Millie on a daily basis. She asked for permission to take for car rides and trips, that Millie thoroughly enjoys, and I enthusiastically approved. She relieved the apprehension I had about leaving, enabling me to enjoy my vacation.”

“Cindey and Steve took amazing care of my dog Lulu. From the moment I left her with them, I felt completely comfortable knowing she was in good hands. They kept me updated the whole time with messages and photos, which meant a lot to me and gave me real peace of mind. It’s clear they truly care about the dogs they watch and treat them like their own. Lulu looked happy, relaxed, and well cared for the entire time. I’m very grateful for the care they gave her and I would absolutely trust them with Lulu again in the future. Highly recommended.”

“Deborah did a fantastic job! She communicated to advise if all was going well. Was very professional and in my opinion, is an expert in dog sitting. She has several dogs and is well equipped to manage a dog. Was pleasantly surprised how easy the process was and how my Lola enjoyed the stay. Great experience and will definitely use her service again!!”

“Nicholas was so awesome with my skittish girl. She takes a while to warm up to people but he didn’t give up and gained her trust quickly on our weekend away. He shared so many photos and videos to keep our minds at ease. Great sitter!!!!”

“Without a doubt, the best pet sitter I've had in my life. A true gem. Her communications are timely and clear. If I could higher rating i would but there wouldn't be enough room on the rating sheet to hold all the stars she's earned..”

“Excellent boarding experience. Marlena was great with my dog who can be a bit much for some. Her stay was over Christmas and Marlena sent me plenty of videos and photos of my baby dressed in sweaters and hats opening presents. 10/10 would book again.”

“They took very good care of our two dogs. We were kept updated on how they were doing. The fenced in backyard was great for the dogs as they normally don’t get to run around. Definitely will rebook for future times.”

“Leslie watched our sweet Remi girl who was only 13 weeks old. She hadn’t had all of her shots yet, so we were nervous to board her publicly. Taking her to Leslie, she was able to socialize with not just her two dogs but with tortoises, a parrot, and chickens! Our puppy also discovered that she loves swimming Leslie allowed her to swim in their pool. It felt like Remi was welcomed into a family and not boarded up all weekend! Thank you Leslie!”
