“Bella my Bernadoodle made herself right at home the minute she walked in. She loved the kids and Stefhany and Jean. She is not used to kids or other dogs but I think she was living every minute of it. They sent several videos and pictures to let me see how she was doing. That was so nice it made me feel better. I was afraid she wouldn’t want to come home after all the fun at their house vs. boring ole Momma at home. Luckily when I arrived she was so excited. About: I have taken care of animals for as long as I can remember! I work at a dog boarding kennel currently and have worked at the animal shelter where I cared for all of the strays and helped them try to find new homes and reunited lost pets with their families! I don’t feel a family is complete without a pet as I have always had one (or more)! They are family 💖 I work at a boarding kennel part time and am able to care for pets mornings before work for potty break and evenings after work for potty breaks and play time. Morning potty breaks and evening potty breaks and play time on my days off I ask for owners to have written instructions for the specific care for each pet so that I may make sure their pet/pets are taken care of as if their owners had never left! Routine is a big deal for pets and owners!

This can be a crate or puppy pen depending on what is the best fit for the dog. This is also where the dogs stay while I am out of the house to prevent any incidents between dogs. During the day, the dogs have the opportunity to spend their time inside or outside. There are plenty of toys and beds inside for some playing or relaxing. Outside, they have a fenced-in acre to run, explore, and roughhouse. The dog-friendly pool will be ready for use in April 2026. It has a 8x16ft sun shelf to allow for lounging in shallow water and a ramp for easy access in and out of the deep end. It is screened in to prevent anyone from slipping in unnoticed. For days that don’t allow for much exercise outside, I have treadmills to burn energy for dogs that are comfortable with them and plenty of puzzle feeders to keep their minds busy.

About: I have had dogs most of my life and volunteered at a large shelter back in St. Louis for more than 10 yrs. I walked dogs, took them on enrichment trips, fostered them and helped at the shelter by just cleaning and doing laundry. I loved all the different dog personalities and tried to do anything that would make their life better. I would love to take care of dogs now that I'm retired and will also be volunteering at the local shelter here I'm retired and my dog recently passed so I'm craving dog time. With no dog i now have more time to dog walk I am available to dog sit or walk but live in a small rv so dog boarding might be tricky though I'm willing to try. About: I’m home all day/night pet sitting full time! Once I became a pet owner I never looked back. My fury child is my life. As a pet owner for 14 years I am very skillful in all areas of pet car from teeth brushing to tick picking. I have seen them grow old, loose their hearing, sight and ability to walk, but never once treated them like an old dog. I take seriously the need for touch by brushing their hair as often as possible and giving belly ribs when they turn on their backs for that special attention. My bed is their bed as they like to cuddle and feel safe and secure. I am a morning person and love feeling the brisk air as I watch pets take to the grass for their morning outing. I am home all day/night! I am available as early as 5:30am to receive your fury child into my home. I have plenty of space for them to play and I for one like to keep them in my site. Especially the little ones, they can get into so much. I have 4 dogs parks right in my community and each one is covered in grass. I love to walk, so your pet will never be taken off schedule. I have the best water-resistant floors in the event of any accidents, just wipe and go. I take work/life balance breaks so always free to play with your pets. I am currently home all day/night! I can feed twice a day or more, and I offer treats, walks and lots of play time. I can separate your pet, if need be. I have lots of sleeping space for those that are just tired little pups. My house is quiet, no children so no bother. I have a closed in balcony which provide a nice look out point for your pet. I have stuff animals and dog toys that I leave around the house for playmates as well.
About: When most were baby sitting I was pet sitting. I’ve always had a true passion for taking care of animals that has continued to grow with me. I’m great with all types not just limited to cats and dogs. I’m have experience admitting medication, training puppies and with elder dog care. “Katie is amazing! We had to leave town for the weekend so we needed to find good care for our energetic Hank. I stumbled upon rover and found Katie, so I decided to message her right away, she responded within minutes! And that same conversation led us to our meet and greet the next day. When we got to the meet and greet, we were welcomed by Katie and her family, she has two older dogs and she created a safe place for Hank to meet her dogs individually first. All the dogs got along really well and we know that Hank was comfortable and happy to stay with Katie when we had to leave. During the stay with Katie, she was very good at communicating with me throughout the trip, and from the picture she sent us we know that Hank was having a great time. Katie is wonderful and if we ever have to look for care for hing, we will definitely come back to her!”

I’ve raised my dog Zoso since I was 14 when she was a puppy, she recently passed away at 17 years old so having other dogs around makes me so happy. “We are retired so we travel a lot. We have never boarded our dogs with a more competent dog sitter. Our dogs actually leep out of the car to get to her when we drive in the driveway. Our dogs are English Bulldog Champions and one is intact, but Peggy manages his care profesionally--even on Thanksgiving day. As a vet technician she was also able to administer medication to our older dog. She lives on a farm so there is a lot of area for dogs to run off leash. They don't sleep in a kennel building, they sleep in her house! She is a lovely person with a good heart.”
