I’m retired with a lot of time to pay attention to your pup. I volunteer at a local shelter too. Dogs that come into my home are well cared and loved. I ask if boarding with me that all vaccinations are up to date. I will play with your dog inside. I am unable to walk high energy and dogs that pull over 45 #. If your dog is a senior and is large and doesn’t pull, I will be happy to walk them. I am sorry, but I am only able to board one dog at a time. My yard isn’t fenced but i will walk your dog and I can safely tie them out for a short time to potty if needed. We will play inside the house

“Kelly handled my dog Stella amazingly. I live in a very dog heavy neighborhood and I adopted a senior German Shepherd with dog on dog reactivity due to early trauma in life. My experience ranges from growing up on a multi-animal farm, training my own dogs, taking care of neonatal kittens, and being there for peoples’ pets when they need that extra help. As a pet parent of a border collie (Clarke), tuxedo cat (Bellamy), and nebelung cat Octavia), I know the true value they have in our lives. During the summer, I am working full-time as a pet sitter and dog walker. I hope that in the future I will have enough business to continue doing this! My top priorities are the safety and care of pets; and the security and privacy of my clients homes. Communication is essential to my business.

“This was Dovey's first time staying with Alexandra and her family. My husband and I had to travel for 6 days and leaving Dovey for this length of time with a new family made me worry. I have to say, the moment we left Dovey, our one year old, very active, German Shorthaired Pointer with Alexandra and drive away on our trip, we had no concerns. Alexandra and her husband, her three dogs, her cats, and her children were very welcoming. They made Dovey feel like she was one of the family. By the many photos Alexandra sent us, Dovey chimed right in with the daily activities and daily walks. When we picked Dovey up to bring her home, she was happy to see us but seemed almost sad to leave her new family of friends!! Dovey wasn't stressed, she smelled good and was very nice and tired, a good thing for a GSP. We would certainly like to have her stay with Alexandra again!!!!”
