“Anas & Tate took great care of my dog. Izzy is a bigger fairly high energy Airedale. Anas & Tate had no problems handling his needs. Their setup is beautiful. I quite big fenced yard allowed for plenty of exercise while being totally secure. They kept me updated with cute pictures and videos during Izzy’s stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to rely on them again as the need arises.”

About: I had my two fur kids for the last 14 years and they were my best friends! I am recently an empty nester from being a dog mama and I am missing the companionship. All of my friends say I am their go to Dog Walker and Dog Sitter 🐶🐶 when they travel so I figured I would meet more furry friends this way! I run my business and am fully remote so I can be available any day of the week and hours that are convenient for you. I would be happy to come take your pup for a walk during the day or if you need overnight visits, I can bring them to me.

About: I've grown up around animals my whole life. For most of my life I had a minx cat named Milo that I rescued as a baby from under an abandoned home who was a real life Garfield and just the most chonky loving boy ever. After he left us a stray (Oliver) wandered into our home as I began college and made himself welcome in our home keeping my mom company and knowing we needed the support, he decided to keep going on his journey to explore after a couple years but we have always remembered our two boys. Ive looked after plenty of my family cats from Siamese breeds to ragdolls. Some of my sons and I’s favorite activities is to visit the cats at Petco and show them love. I guess what sets me apart is my respect and fascination at getting to know each cats personality. From chunky, cuddly, food stealing Garfields like Milo to curious, green eyed, alley cats who act as if they understand what you are saying like Oliver, i believe each cat is unique and special.

About: I’ve had the pleasure of owning cats through every stage of life, and I am comfortable with any age or breed. I am used to kittens, elderly cats, and grown cats, so I am ready for handling each need of the fur babies with care.

About: I like caring for cats just as much as dogs! I understand that each cat has a unique personality, whether playful, shy, or independent. I ensure a calm and comfortable environment, provide feeding, litter box maintenance, and lots of enrichment—whether that’s interactive play or cozy lap time. If your cat needs medication or special care, I can accommodate those needs as well.
About: I stay over night for clients if needed I can also take care of other animals not just dogs and cats. I will also stay in contact with client through out the stay with their pet I am a senior at Gainesville high and have a part-time key holder position at palmetto moon I don't work everyday so free after school. I take care of Clint's pets as asked for, following all feeding and waking instructions. As well as calling Clint in the cases of an emergency

About: As someone who has grown up around several cats throughout my life, as well as owning two myself, I will always ensure your cat gets the best care possible. I have taken care of many cats in ~1 year of cat sitting and have no issue giving medication or food, cleaning litter boxes, playing with your cat, or any other responsibility. Whatever you need for your cat to get the best care possible, I will ensure it gets done. My golden rule is that I will treat your cat with the same respect I would want my own to be treated with. This means you will receive constant communication from me to give you that peace of mind while away.

About: I have taken care of cats for the past 5 years, and many friends have trusted me to take care of theirs, as well. One of my cats, Dwight (yes, from The Office), became obstructed about a year ago, and because I paid such close attention to all of my animals' bathroom habits, I was able to get him to the emergency vet before it became a "true" emergency. I have caught every single ailment in a timely manner since, and all of my cats are happy and healthy. I have had to give medication, and definitely know how to deep clean a litter box. I rescued 3 out of my 5 cats at around 4 weeks of age, so I also have experience in kitten-care and nursing them back to health.
“Xanadu has stayed with us twice, both times taking care of our little cat Gordy. We've been very satisfied! She's a great communicator and has always texted us pictures and kept us informed. We highly recommend Xanadu.”

About: I’ve cared for cats for many years and understand that each one has their own personality and needs. I’m patient, gentle, and take the time to make sure your cat feels comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. During drop-in visits, I follow your cat’s routine closely — feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving attention at their comfort level. Whether your cat is playful or more shy, I adjust to what makes them feel safe. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is well cared for in their own home.

I’d love to get to know your pet’s routine, quirks, and how I can make them feel at home while you're away. As a retired pet lover, caring for animals is a natural and enjoyable part of my everyday life. I am home full-time, so your dog or cat will never be short on attention, snuggles, or potty breaks! My daily routine revolves around the pets in my care—morning walks or playtime, regular feeding schedules, quiet nap time, and evening wind-down cuddles. Whether your pet needs active play or a calm environment, I adjust my day to meet their needs. I also keep their routine as close to home as possible, including meal times, medication, and bedtime rituals. With no work distractions and a flexible schedule, your pet gets my full focus every day of the week. ***Minutes away from Devil's Den Spring, Blue Grotto and Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens. In my calm, pet-friendly 5 acre fenced home, your furry family member will be treated with the same love and attention I give my own senior Dachshund, Ginger. At 14 years old, Ginger is gentle and spends most of her day relaxing and napping. I maintain a clean, cozy space with no stairs or hazards, and I closely supervise all pets to ensure safety and comfort. I follow each pet’s routine—whether that’s a special diet, medication schedule, or favorite toy at bedtime. I only board one pet at a time (unless there are two pets from the same family) to ensure everyone gets plenty of one-on-one attention. Because I’m retired and home full-time, I'm always nearby to keep an eye on things, provide comfort, or just offer a warm lap and gentle ear rub. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority, and I work hard to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and right at home. ***Minutes away from Devil's Den Spring, Blue Grotto and Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens.
“Zakary was a wonderful dog sitter. They communicated before my stay as well as during my stay. They took amazing photos of my dogs. They have a wonderful yard in the front of the house with obstacles for your dogs in a very safe gated area. I would absolutely use them again during my next trip in Gainesville. Oh, and they gave my dogs, home-cooked chicken and rice with my permission.”

“Kimberly was amazing! She took great care of my dog and sent lots of photo updates. Bruno (my dog) has a bit of separation anxiety but she was able to redirect it well by taking him on a long walk and outdoor time, his favorite things to do!”

About: I treat every pet like they’re my own because I know how much they mean to you. I don’t just “watch” animals I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and little quirks so they feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I’ve worked with both puppies and senior pets, so I understand how different their needs can be. Whether it’s helping reinforce potty training and leash habits for younger dogs, or giving extra patience, gentle care, and medication support for older pets, I adjust to what your pet needs. You’ll never be left wondering how things are going. I send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in good hands. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: Give your pet a stress free, loving experience and give you total peace of mind. Throughout the week, I stay flexible so I can accommodate different routines, whether it’s early morning visits, evening checkins, or multiple visits per day. I also build in time for updates, so pet owners always know how their pet is doing. Since I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, it’s not just a task, it’s something I look forward to, making it easy to give each pet the care and attention they deserve. I provide care based on what makes each pet most comfortable, whether that’s in my home or yours. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and quiet companionship, so they feel safe in their own space. I’m respectful of your home and keep everything clean and consistent.
“Cannot say enough good things about Lesly and Josh! They took such special care of my Lily. They were able to work with me and be flexible when I was stuck at work and couldn’t collect her right away. You can tell they truly care about the babies in their care ♥️”

“Miranda was great! She took care of my dog and three cats like they were her own. They came back clean and no worse for wear. She worked with my schedule and was very flexible. I appreciated all help and understanding!!”

Stress-free, All Day Farm Fun For Your Furry Family Members Former Pet Care Specialists for Best Friends Petcare @ Walt Disney World. I grew up in a family run shar-pei kennel. As an adult, in addition to my own pets, I worked as a kennel assistant, pet sitter, vet tech (ER and Internal medicine experience) and as a pet care specialist for Disney and PetSmart pet hotels. I have also worked with pet rescues my entire adult life. I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, small mammals, horses and livestock. I'm very comfortable dealing with anxious pets and those with significant medical needs. I am currently working in human medicine but animals were my first love and are still my passion, and my life is incomplete without them. I am looking forward to transitioning back to pet care exclusively by the end of the year. I currently have 2 rooms in my home, so my availability is set to 2 pets for boarding, because I can house 2 "family units." For multi-dog families please message for updated availability.
“Paola was amazing with my pup, Poppie! I felt comfortable with her as soon as I met her. Kept me updated throughout the day with notes and pics! She is a great sitter! We will def have her take care of Poppie when we visit area again.”

“Maria and her family are VERY NICE. We were very worried at first since our dog has never been left with other people before but she made us feel at ease. Our dog was very happy and if we ever go back to gainesville again we will definitely contact her again :)”

“I am very happy with Teddy's recent daycare stay with Chair! Chari is communicative, flexible, and accommodating. Teddy was really taken with her and her boyfriend and even attempted to follow them into the house when they went to retrieve his things as they were returning from a walk. I was a little worried about what Teddy's behavior might be due to him being puppy with a lot of energy. Chari reassured me several times that everything would be fine, and it certainly was. I plan to use Chari again for daycare for both, Teddy, and my dog Lou. I highly recommend Chari for pet care!”

About: ☀️ Summer Safety Advisory ☀️ Due to Florida’s extreme heat and humidity, dogs are at serious risk of heat exhaustion and heatstroke in as little as 10–15 minutes of exertion during peak sun hours. Because of this, all walks during late spring through early fall may be shortened or adjusted for safety and replaced with enrichment-based activities, shaded sniff time, or indoor play when appropriate. Your dog’s health and comfort always come first. 🐾 Pet Care Experience I provide thoughtful, enrichment-focused care that’s tailored to each pet’s individual needs, energy level, and comfort. My goal is not just to “get through” a visit, but to make sure your pet feels safe, understood, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a background in wildlife sanctuary rehabilitation and have served as an adoptions director, which means I’ve worked hands-on with animals of all temperaments, ages, and medical needs. I’m comfortable administering medications ( just not injections), managing multi-pet households, and supporting shy, anxious, senior, or special-needs pets. My approach to pet care is informed by ongoing education in dog behavior, body language, and force-free, reward-based training. I pay close attention to stress signals, pacing, and environment, and I adjust each visit accordingly. Whether your dog needs structured activity, calm companionship, or space to decompress, I aim to meet them where they are. 🦴 Bonus Enrichment Option I also manage one of Gainesville’s top-rated private Sniffspots, The Zoomie Zone, located in Midtown. This fully private, reservation-only yard is ideal for dogs who benefit from off-leash play without the pressure of public dog parks. Many clients choose to incorporate Sniffspot visits into walks or drop-ins as a way to provide safe zoomies, sniff-based enrichment, or low-distraction decompression time. If you’re interested in adding a Sniffspot visit to your booking, feel free to ask. Returning clients can also receive discount codes for independent bookings. Whether we’re heading out for a structured walk, enjoying shaded sniff time, or keeping things low-key indoors, I focus on providing calm, attentive, and reliable care you can trust. 🗓️ Schedule and Booking Process To make sure every booking is safe, smooth, and a good fit, I require a free 15 minute meet and greet for all new clients. This takes place at the location where care will happen and helps ensure your pet’s comfort, safety, and compatibility with my services. -Exceptions Cats and puppies under 5 months do not require a meet and greet -Returning clients can fast track bookings Please schedule your meet and greet at least 72 hours before your first requested booking so we have time to coordinate properly. After your initial meet and greet, you are all set for future bookings. If you move to a new home or apartment, you are welcome to schedule another meet and greet so I can learn the new setup. 🚶♀️ Dog Walks and Drop Ins I batch dog walks and cat drop in visits into efficient routes using flexible time windows. This allows me to reduce travel time while still providing thoughtful, attentive care. Dog care windows Standard visits typically occur between 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM Morning visits may begin as early as 8:00 AM Evening visits are available for dogs who need extra flexibility Cat care Preferred visit window is 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM If medications or strict timing are required, I adjust visits to meet those needs Dogs are typically prioritized earlier in the day due to restroom needs, but all pets receive the same level of care and attention. 🐾 Premium Boarding Boarding is a high end, in home service designed for clients who want a fully hands off experience. At this time, boarding is available only to dogs who already have an established walk or drop in routine with me. This helps ensure your dog is comfortable with my home, routine, and resident pets. While boarding with me, your dog will -Live in home as part of the household -Be the only boarding guest, receiving one on one attention -Receive daily enrichment and engagement -Enjoy supervised access to my private Sniffspot for play, sniffing, and decompression -Enrichment may include -Food puzzles such as West Paw Toppl meals -Nature walks or hikes in San Felasco, weather permitting -Field trips to quiet recreational fields when no other animals are present -Most dogs return home happy, fulfilled, and ready to nap. 🚨 Behavior Expectations and Safety The safety of my personal pets is a top priority. Dogs boarding with me must be comfortable around cats and respectful toward my personal dog. If a dog shows aggression toward any resident pets, boarding may be ended immediately. In these cases, care will be converted to drop in visits at your home for feeding, potty breaks, and companionship. 🚗 Premium Pick Up and Drop Off For added convenience, I offer a luxury pet transport add on. I can personally pick up and drop off your dog along my daily walking route No handoffs needed, simply leave your dog at home This service is priced to reflect the time, travel, and personalized care involved ⛔ Important Booking Policies -One free meet and greet is included for new clients -Additional meet ups should be booked as a walk or drop in to cover time and travel -All pets must be listed on your Rover profile prior to booking -You have 48 hours after the meet and greet to confirm your booking before the time slot may be released -House Sitting and Drop In services follow a 7 day cancellation policy If you have questions or special circumstances, I’m always happy to talk things through. In my home, pets and plants are family, and every animal in my care is treated with the same level of respect and attention. I understand that each pet has their own personality and needs. Some thrive on companionship, others prefer play, structure, or quiet encouragement. My goal is to be a steady, calm presence your pet can rely on while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or hosting them for a field trip at The Zoomie Zone, I focus on creating a safe, enriching, and low stress environment that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing. During each visit, you’ll receive a detailed update through the Rover Card, including notes on meals, potty breaks, mood, and anything noteworthy from our time together. Occasionally, if your pet gives me a particularly great moment, I may also send a favorite edited photo directly. Unless something truly needs your attention, I won’t interrupt your vacation, work trip, or conference. I aim to be both your pet’s advocate and your peace of mind while you’re away. Safety is always my top priority for both your pet and myself. If a pet displays aggression, severe anxiety, or behavior that creates an unsafe situation, I will still ensure their basic needs are met, including food, water, and potty breaks. However, I may shorten a visit to avoid escalating stress. This policy is in place out of care and caution for everyone involved. 🛏️ Crate and Confinement Requirement for Boarding For boarding stays, dogs must be comfortable with crate use or confinement behind a baby gate or similar barrier. This is a non-negotiable requirement. At night and during times when dogs are not being actively supervised, boarding dogs are safely confined. This allows my personal pets appropriate rest and space, and ensures all dogs remain safe when I am asleep or briefly out of the house. Crates or gated areas are used as calm, neutral spaces rather than punishment. If your dog typically uses a crate, pen, or gated area at home, please let me know their routine so I can keep things as familiar and low stress as possible. If a dog is not currently comfortable with any form of safe confinement, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. I’m always happy to discuss alternatives or help determine whether a gradual transition would be appropriate.

About: (¡Español es mi primer idioma, por si se te hace más cómodo/fácil hablarme en español!) • SATURDAYS ARE FOR FREE!! As a seventh-day adventist I observe the Sabbath, so I do not charge for Saturdays. However, I challenge you to use that money to help someone in need!🙏🏻 • 8 nights or more are $23/night (first dog)! • 1 dog + 1 cat $30/night • $15/day (first dog) for 3 days or more of weekly daycare. Daycare is closed on Saturdays. • I encourage last-minute bookings! If your pet is socialized there shouldn't be any problem. In any case we'll talk about the details and I'll see if I can help you out💪🏻 • Important! Offers might be denied or future rates adjusted for pets with undisclosed misbehaviors. So please, I'd appreciate your honesty before meeting, especially if it's a last-minute booking. • Both my apartment and the surrounding neighborhood are very quiet and peaceful. There's a lot of green areas AND a small dog park where they can walk (or run) freely! • Your pet will be part of the family while they're here! They'll receive frequent attention and love if they need it or simple constant caring company if they just want that. • Cats are more than welcome! We love cats too—especially my mom. And don't worry about my dog; he has been surrounded by cats since birth, so he simply ignores them. I occasionally need sitters myself so I know how hard it is to find one that's not painfully expensive AND that you're comfortable with. That's why I want to provide the experience I'd love to receive myself: an affordable care for your pets IN COMBINATION with the most approachable and relaxed atmosphere for you as possible, ESPECIALLY if you're going away for weeks and if you have multiple pets! Let's face it. You're only looking for someone who'd simply be there and take care of them because there's no other option. You'd do it yourself if you could! So shouldn't you find sitters that make you (and your wallet!) feel at peace with leaving your loving companion behind? That's why I'm here to help! A pet parent for pet parents =) I am at home every day, all day long—except when I go out for groceries, which takes no more than two hours. Aside from that, I stay present and keep myself busy in the apartment. I cook, exercise, read, and am currently also studying for a professional certification. I don't have any visitors, nor do I go out for anything else. I moved in a few months ago. Here there's only my dog Mylo, my mother and me. • All of your pet's physical and emotional needs will be met—that is my absolute priority, including their absolute safety. • Regarding male and/or bigger dogs, since my dog is a bit picky at first with most of them, it may be necessary a 5-10 minute 'Parallel Walk' at the meet & greet. We'll just walk around the pond in front of the apartment 1 or 2 times. It’s the safest way to make sure both dogs are 100% comfortable before they share a home. Only then we'll know if I can accept your doggie. • Hey, we all want this to work out but if the dogs don't like it, well....that's why we do the meet and greet: to know if the choice fits everyone involved and choose accordingly🙏🏻 • I would NEVER intentionally harm an animal. I'd never lay even a finger on pets (to discipline them) that do not belong to me. • I never give human food to pets. Occasionally, I share certain fruits with my own dog (specifically those that are safe and non-toxic for them) or, occasionally, a boiled egg; aside from that, nothing else. BUT, your pet will strictly follow the diet you specify. • I clean the bowl and pour fresh filtered water daily. • I have set my account available to no more than 2 pets at a time; however, if you wish to ensure that your pet is the *only* one in my care (other than Mylo I mean) during their stay (for your own peace of mind), I can arrange it for a small additional fee. It is worth noting that, regardless of the number of pets present, I guarantee that I can manage their interactions appropriately, as I am always at home. • If the pet has socialization issues to the point I'm not able to serve other pet parents, that might incur in additional fees. • I operate with complete transparency, and my mission here is to serve you—to be your assistant and EXACTLY the help you're looking for right now. I'll provide as regular communication as you need and pictures of your blessing daily. My goal is your peace of mind and their comfort! • I encourage you to ask me whatever else you need to know!

About: I’m a second-year veterinary student at the University of Florida with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I have dog sat numerous times for friends, neighbors, and families, including extended stays lasting several weeks. Through veterinary school and personal experience, I’m comfortable monitoring pets closely, administering basic medications if needed, and providing attentive, compassionate care. I understand how important consistency, communication, and trust are when leaving your pet with someone else, and I strive to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m currently on summer break from veterinary school, so I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week at all hours of the day to meet your pet’s needs. If you’re looking for a long-term sitter, I will also make sure to prioritize time for your pup during the school year (August–May). When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while their owners are away. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, and staying active or prefers a calmer, more relaxed environment, I’m happy to provide the care and attention that best fits their personality and needs. As a veterinary student with experience pet sitting for extended periods of time, I’m very attentive to animals’ behavior, routines, and overall well-being. I carefully follow all owner instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and household routines to ensure your pet is cared for exactly the way they are at home. My goal is always to make pets feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for while giving owners peace of mind. I also enjoy sending regular photo updates so owners can feel confident their pets are safe and happy while they’re away.
About: *I have been taking care of pets not only on a personal level for over 20 years but on a professional level as well for 10 years. I have prior experience as a veterinary technician assistant and can handle pets no matter what the situation may be. I have prior experience with senior pets or even pets with special needs. I of course have experience with pets that are full of energy and love to play. And we can't forget about the puppies who need help with socializing and potty training. I can also give baths, ear cleaning and nail trims as well just let me know. *All animals are unique in their own special way, they have things they like and things they do not like, while in my care I can promise that their care will be fitted to your fur babies needs while you are away. *I am always available to give your fur baby all the love and attention they need while you are away. I am available for drop ins, daycare, boarding just let me know the dates and times that you are needing and we can get it arranged. *I live in a house on a secluded 1.32 acres of land along with a large fenced yard. I have 2 small children as well but trust me I have experience with spicy animals as well as making sure safety is a priority. I have 5 friendly dogs that would love to have play dates or I can easily crate or separate my own personal pets or your pets (with your permission) if needed. If crating is not an option my house is set up to where I can keep my personal pets and your pets separated from each other without the need of crates. I also have plenty of toys and even a doggy pool to help keep your fur babies happy while you are away. I offer the option of pickup/drop offs being done but only by meeting outside, I do not want the fur babies to feel like I am taking them away from their owner. Thank you for your understanding and support in this matter! I am currently a stay at home mom. I have two beautiful children along with 5 very spoiled dogs that I consider my own children as well. I have a fenced yard and crates if you are okay with crating. I also have baby gates as well. If dogs need to have separation time that is understandable or if they need to be separated 100% of the time I can have that set up with no issues. Everyone's safety is 100% important no matter what.

“Danielle was very easy to communicate with, and we are very grateful for the peace of mind she gave us in watching our dogs while my fiancé and I worked long shifts. I could tell That she truly enjoys interacting with dogs, and from the pictures and texts she sent it was obvious that our dogs were comfortable with her and enjoyed her visits. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again to care for them.”

“Poseidon had a great time and burned a lot of energy walking with her. She mixed it up well between walks and a visit to the dog park, and gave good reports on the walks.”
