“During my stay in the Panhandle, I quickly realized many of the beaches were not pet friendly, so I was in need of a last minute sitter for my pup Sammi. Sammi originally stayed with Aurora for 2 nights, but she had such a great time that I allowed her to go back for a third 🙂 Aurora does an exceptional job of making sure your pup is comfortable in her home. She takes special note of the things they enjoy, their triggers/traumas…and operates accordingly. Not to mention, she takes the most stunning photos of your dog and sends multiple updates throughout the day, so you aren’t left to wonder how they are doing. About: I volunteered at an animal shelter for 5 years so far. I still do. I have 5 dogs and 6 cats. I have experience with snakes, bearded dragons, leopard geckos, and spiders! I have pet sat for years. I am currently in Vet Tech school and am planning on going to Veterinary Medicine school after! I am currently working part time so I will have lots of time to play with and care for your pets like they’re my own. I am ambiance to work 7 days a week and am always egar to meet more animals. About: I was raised in Colorado, spending my summers with all types of animals from dogs, cats, goats, cows, horses, and chickens. I am very comfortable around animals, especially dogs and cats. I have taken care of all ages of both dogs and cats from kittens and puppies to senior pets (Thanks Mom and Dad!). I have experience training basic commands to puppies, working with anxious dogs, and caring for senior dogs and cats. I'm patient, kind and love animals. I recently switched from watching pets full-time back to technical writing with the Navy. I have an early schedule that allows me to spend a good part of the day with your pets. While I am at work, I have Furbo cameras set up so I can keep an eye on everyone and throw them treats if they are feeling restless. I have it set up where my dogs will be kept separate to ensure safety. I live in a 3-bedroom home with a large fenced yard and swimming pool. My entryway has double doors that adds a second layer of security for pets during drop-off and pick-up. I have 3 dogs of my own that are very friendly as we have been doing this for quite some time. The two little dogs keep to themselves as they are older. My golden loves every one and every thing. She makes for the perfect playmate. In case your dog is over-stimulated or just needs a break, I have a way to separate my dogs using baby gates so that we are all still together in the same living area but can rest. I also have four crates here, if needed. Safety is my number one priority!

She takes special note of the things they enjoy, their triggers/traumas…and operates accordingly. Not to mention, she takes the most stunning photos of your dog and sends multiple updates throughout the day, so you aren’t left to wonder how they are doing. Sammi came home happy and slept like baby on our 8 hour road trip to South Carolina after her stay. It’s safe to say, Aurora will be my go to sitter anytime I am in the area. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!”

About: Lifelong owner - Great Dane, Pit-bull, Puggle, German Shepherd + cats. I grew up with a Great Dane (gentle giants + large breed care), a Pit-bull (high energy, strong, total love bug – Big on positive reinforcement), a Puggle (small dog sass + sniffy walks), and cats, so I’m comfortable with any size, breed or personality. I currently have a German Shepherd, who is friendly, social, and great with other dogs. He’s up-to-date on vaccines and loves having playmates. Your dog will get a built-in buddy for supervised play in our big fenced backyard, but I always do slow introductions and can keep them separate if needed for meals/naps. If your dog refers people only, just let me know and I’ll manage it. I’ve been pet sitting since I was 11 – boarding, daycare, walks, droppings, puppies to seniors. Very comfortable with basic training: sit, stay, crate, training, potty training, leash, manners, no jumping, and sticking to your routine. I’m a stay at home mom, so I’m home all day. Dogs here get potty breaks every 1-2 hours in the backyard, lots of exercise, photo updates, and never left alone for long. I’m a stay-at-home mom, so pet care is my full daily routine and I’m home 24/7. Dogs get potty breaks every 1-2 hours in our big fenced backyard, morning and afternoon play sessions, walks, training practice, and lots of cuddles.
