Their back yard is spacious for active dogs and they are never alone. Luna is very anxious and they knew how to deal with her with lots of care. I was a bit worried because Luna and Moka sleep with me, but there was no issues… they cuddled with them and slept all night. I had a last minute emergency creating the need for a dog boarder for a holiday weekend on the Thursday before the holiday for my nervous nilly dog. I found them in my Rover account. They had a space for my dog and let us come over that same day for a meet and greet. My nervous nilly dog showed me right away how comfortable she was there. I loved what I saw and booked with them right away. Over the weekend, my fur baby was allowed to do the kinds of things we let her do at home - snuggle up on our chairs with us, sleep in our bed, etc. In addition to their fenced-in back yard, they went on daily walks and played in the house with their dog and 1 other that was also there for the weekend. I recieved photos and I could tell my dog was having a great time. When I picked her up yesterday I could quickly see that she was not stressed at all from this new last-minute situation. “After my meet and greet with Katie and all their household members I was a lot less concerned about leaving Sam and Shamus. These boys are my children and leaving them their was one less worry, probably my biggest worry, about going away for a few days! Katie seemed to know what she was doing, and being a long time breeder in the past I feel I have a certain sense about people when it comes to dogs! She picked up our babies, right on time, as my heart couldn't drop them off and feel ok with it! She started sending pictures and updates as soon as she got our babies to their new sleep over camp. Throughout our time away we received many updates, pictures, videos and it was so reassuring to see how happy and well cared they were! Mostly, I was relieved to see how they really fit in and how quickly they adapted! When Katie dropped them off after our return, although it was great to see they were happy to see us it was also very reassuring to see that without hesitation they would have jumped back into her vehicle without giving it a second thought. I have never seen my 2 boys so calm and relaxed and to pickup our routine after being gone for 3 days. Without hesitation, I would utilize Katie in any of our future travels and we know there will be at least two or more coming up in the winter and spring of next year!!! I might, from time to time, arrange to drop them off for an occasional play date just to play with the friends they met and her great back yard for them to play for a day here and there!! I have owned dogs of a variety of sizes Big (Labradors - Sassie and Flounder), Cocker Spaniel (Cleo), Basset Hound (Ginger), Terrier (Kush), and Pomeranian (Foxy). About: Hi! My name’s Kristen! I’ve been raising dogs since I was a child. I’ve cared for dogs as small as Chihuahuas to dogs as big as Border Collies, though I’m willing to care for larger dogs. There’s nothing I love more than caring for dogs! I’ve tended to walk dogs regularly (every 3-5 hours), and absolutely adore playing with them! Alongside my experience with dogs, I’ve also taken care of cats in the past, only for about a year. Throughout pet raising/pet-sitting days, I’ve raised 3 dogs and cared for 2 cats. I’m willing to care for any pet, no matter their temperament or energy levels. I look forward to pet-sitting/walking for you! I am available whenever need be, and look forward to watching your fur babies for you :) In my home environments, I’ve always kept dogs’ and cats’ safety, as well as owners’ boundaries, my main priority. If there’s a part of the house closed off for the pet, for whatever the reason may be, I’m always willing to ensure that the pet and your home are safe. I’m very familiar with pet-proofing, as well. I.E - putting away shoes so they won’t get chewed up, or keeping trash lids on, so that there’s no mess. Again, pet safety and owners’ boundaries are extremely important to me and I will follow any rule you may have to make sure all is well in your home and around your pet.
About: I have been dog sitting for years, most recently worked on farms with a variety of animals and dogs. Puppies, kittens, aggressive dogs & animals. Home mostly with my new baby :) taking a break from teaching & caregiving. I miss working on farms & being with animals so I have been enjoying all my new Rover friends. About: On top of pet sitting and dog walking prior, I have volunteered at a humane society, giving me experience with a variety of pets and temperaments. I'm a current college student, so I have plenty of time outside of classes to take care of your beloved pets as needed whenever you may need me. To care for the pets in your home, I feed them, play with them, and keep a close eye on them to keep them out of trouble, as well as anything else that could possibly be needed.

“Sommer and Garrett were absolutely great! They are a beautiful family that love and understand dogs. Their kids help out so much our pups had plenty of attention, cuddles and play time. Their back yard is spacious for active dogs and they are never alone. Luna is very anxious and they knew how to deal with her with lots of care. I was a bit worried because Luna and Moka sleep with me, but there was no issues… they cuddled with them and slept all night. “After my meet and greet with Katie and all their household members I was a lot less concerned about leaving Sam and Shamus. These boys are my children and leaving them their was one less worry, probably my biggest worry, about going away for a few days! Katie seemed to know what she was doing, and being a long time breeder in the past I feel I have a certain sense about people when it comes to dogs! She picked up our babies, right on time, as my heart couldn't drop them off and feel ok with it! She started sending pictures and updates as soon as she got our babies to their new sleep over camp. Throughout our time away we received many updates, pictures, videos and it was so reassuring to see how happy and well cared they were! Mostly, I was relieved to see how they really fit in and how quickly they adapted! When Katie dropped them off after our return, although it was great to see they were happy to see us it was also very reassuring to see that without hesitation they would have jumped back into her vehicle without giving it a second thought. I have never seen my 2 boys so calm and relaxed and to pickup our routine after being gone for 3 days. Without hesitation, I would utilize Katie in any of our future travels and we know there will be at least two or more coming up in the winter and spring of next year!!! I might, from time to time, arrange to drop them off for an occasional play date just to play with the friends they met and her great back yard for them to play for a day here and there!! We gave them 5 stars!!!”
