About: I’ve taken care of just about every dog breed since I was 13 years old. I absolutely love what I do. I’ve dedicated my life to taking care of dogs and loving them and being there for them. I go by the rules so anything the owner wants me to do, I do. I’m very good with sticking to schedules. I am very comfortable with bathing and giving dogs their meds, so if your dog has a medication that he/she needs to take I can do that. If I see that something is wrong with your dog I give phone calls right away to update you so that way you’re aware of your dogs well being. I take pictures and video’s to make sure that you can see how your dog is doing and that they’re in great care with me. I am currently unemployed. I’m a stay at home mom so I am always home. I only have one child and he’s usually with my husband in his man cave so I have all the time in the world to care for your fur babies. I have an unfenced yard and two amazing dogs at home. About: Whenever a family friend would go out of town she would always reach out to me first to go check on her 4 dogs, checking their bowls, if theres any poo to clean up, and of course give them love and attention before heading back out. I have a shih tzu at home which is my family dog 8 years old now, a bearded dragon, and a parakeet, they're my babies. I currently work 2 jobs, one of them is a CNA at Encompass Health in which I self schedule. The other is at Altitude Trampoline Park, as a cashier and party host. In total I usually work 3-4 days out of the week. It varies. On my days off I am open to come care for fur babies. In my home, I take care of my shih tzu taking him out first thing in the morning, then feeding him, and keeping him company. He is so nosey he always needs to follow me or my mom around and requires nap time. Sometimes if he allows me I take him out for a walk, he’s very picky so he’ll want to walk down 3 houses then drag me back home. With my parakeet and bearded dragon I give them attention, feed them, treats, and hold them depending on how social they’re feeling.

About: I have been a responsible for taking care of pets since the first grade, thanks to my parents instilling responsibility from a young age with pet ownership. Since then, family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to take of their fur-babies when they cannot be included on family adventures. I am currently available 7 days a week to play, walk, stay over night, or feed your pet while you are living your best life. When taking care of a pet in a client's home, I make sure to follow all instructions of care while still providing all the love and care to your pet.

I've helped look after family and friends' pets and understand the trust it takes to welcome someone into your home. I specialize in house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking. If I eat your pet eats if I go out for a walk most certainly your pet will be walking with me! Your pet will always align into my schedule perfectly synced. In my home I only hope that I am provided a thorough explanation of what type of care and personality your pet has so that I may adjust myself accordingly. Having the supplies needed to care for your pet is also a huge relief and is appreciated. In your home (should you allow me to) caring for your pet in your home is right next to caring for your pet in the president's own house, I'll settle for nothing but giving my best for you and your pet.

Katie has extensive knowledge of different breeds, and she certainly knows Great Danes. We could tell from the numerous videos and pics that Duckie was having a great time, running around and socializing with the other dogs. A+, worry-free stay. She was well- taken care of. He had the best time with them and came home happy, loved, and clearly convinced he had been on his own little vacation. They were wonderful with him — kind, attentive, reliable, and clearly dog people in the best possible way. I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in their care, and Frankie would absolutely pack his tiny imaginary suitcase to go back again. Highly recommend! “Tahrena was such a blessing for us and our puppy Woody on a recent stay. We actually had another sitter booked for Woody for 9 nights while we went out of town for Thanksgiving but of course the morning we were supposed to drop him off (and they day before our flights), he woke up sick with some GI issues. A trip to the vet later it was confirmed he had an intestinal parasite and was sent home with 4 different medications. Our original sitter was understandably not comfortable taking him and cancelled the booking leaving us just hours to find an alternative. Between phone calls to boarding facilities and messages to sitters on Rover, my husband and I must have reached out to over a dozen different people before we finally reached Tahrena! The true mark of an animal lover is someone with the compassion to love and care for a sick animal in need. With very few questions asked she accepted the booking - sick puppy, multiple medications and all! I hated leaving him sick but she was so warm and loving from the start. I knew he was in good hands and my family and I were able to enjoy our trip without worry or concern that he wasn't beeing loved on and taken care of while we were away. We got regular updates throughout his stay and would absolutely book with Tahrena again. Nothing beats having a go-to sitter you know you can depend on! Thank you again Tahrena (and family)!!”

“Phoenix boarded my basset hound Nelly for 9 days and was both professional and fun. Her home is in the country, and she has pets and other farm animals, which looked happy and well taken care of. I felt comfortable leaving Nelly with her because Nelly looked excited to be there and liked her kids. Nelly is a rescue with separation anxiety, but she came home happy and not anxious at all. Phoenix communicated professionally with Rover, even when I was busy, and sent a good number of pictures as well. I didn't have to worry about Nelly because Phoenix had no trouble taking care of her. She is really great with animals!”

“Our two huskies had so much fun during their stay. Got a ton of photos of the boys playing in the doggie pool and with other huskies. Would highly recommend this sitter to anyone with active huskies. Their yard has plenty of pools & obstacle courses to keep them stimulated. Sitter has lots of experience with huskies and makes sure they are content, comfy, and entertained their entire stay. Yard has astroturf to discourage digging/escaping (plus no mud!)”
