My chihuahuas are snuggle bugs, so they normally cuddle up on my lap while I work.

About: My last pet was a blue nose pit, his name was Apollo. We got him when he was only 8 weeks old. I trained him and loved him dearly. About: I have constantly been around dogs my whole life, socializing and training them. We’ve always had a lot of animals in my family all around, chickens, cats, dogs, and pig was in the mix at one point! I have volunteered with many rescues and have attended training classes with multiple different dogs. I have learned how to adapt to all types of dog behavior and am always open to doing a meet and greet before! I currently have a very flexible schedule so it’s just whenever needed! I just have my own dog that usually takes about 5-6 walks a day and 2 trails a week. I have a fenced in yard with a good amount of room to run. I do not let one of my dogs out there though because it is only four feet. Instead, I take her on trails about 2-3 times a week so she gets about 7-8 miles in a week.

About: Ever since I was a baby I have always grown up around animals. About four years ago I started watching my grandparents Rottweiler and stayed several nights and days taking him on walks, feeding him, and interacting with him by playing. About five years ago I got into fostering dogs ranging from puppies to adult, and sometimes having several at the same time. I have experience with puppies due to fostering and owning my own, and I have experience with adult dogs from fostering and owning my own. Besides having experience with just dogs I have experienced and taken care of dogs who have had previous surgeries, dogs who have cancer, and dogs who have to take several medications several times a day. I am currently working a full time job M-F from 9-6 and im off on the weekends. I would be able to help in the mornings and around lunch time everyday, and be able to help after work. Although I can not care for animals in my home due to complex regulations when I had dogs I had a fenced in yard and would go outside and interact with them. When I was at other clients homes if they didnt have a fenced in yard I would walk their dog or put them on a leash in their yard.
