“This was our first time using James’s for our fur babies and both Winston and Bella just fell into a routine and made themselves right at home! He did a great job entertaining both of our dogs at the same time and loving them equally. They have different foods, and he was able to take care of each of them as they needed to be taken care of. He absolutely did a great job letting us know how our babies were doing even within a couple hours of dropping them off, and letting us see that they were getting the love and attention they needed. My 17 year old, special needs, completely blind, silky mix dog, Paisley, who also has dementia, stayed with Ms Annette for 8 days while we were on vacation. We were able to bring Paisley to meet Ms Annette prior to boarding her. Things could not have gone better. Ms. Annette was patient, kind, caring, and gave Paisley time to come to her and be comfortable. Her home was spotless as was the separate grooming / boarding area. Dogs have use of / access to both the boarding and home areas, as well as a spacious, outdoor, shady, grassy backyard area to play. Ms Annette even allows dogs on her couch. Because of her age and special needs status, it became impossible to leave Paisley at a typical kennel as they were unable to provide the specialized care and attention she needed. Ms. Annette was able to provide the specialized care needed, provided a lot of love and belly rubs, and even taught Paisley to use her doggy door!! She kept Paisley under her usual home routine which resulted in a smooth transition home. When going to pick her up, Ms Annette greeted me with Paisley in her arms. Paisley was clean, as were her doggy blanket and bed. During her stay, Ms Annette sent daily updates, photos, and videos, confirming Paisley was adjusting well, had made new friends. Ms Annette is 100% recommended. Great care! Lots of love!! Communicative! Board your pet worry free knowing they’ll be very well cared for with Ms. Annette!”

About: I have had a big passion for animals since childhood. I grew up with many animals and always dreamed of working with animals. I graduated from university with an associate in veterinary technician. I been working for several years in veterinary medicine and doggy daycare i really have fun and enjoy all my time with them. I’m currently working 3 days per week, usually I’m off on Sunday and the rest of the time at home. My schedule rotates, I do not always have the same days off. I have an empty room only for them, small cage if needed and a porch that they can be around. I’m a pet friendly and I always walk my dog around so he can enjoy the complex.

About: I've had dogs my entire life. I have worked at dog boarding facilities and various rescues over the years. I am currently a volunteer with a local rescue in Lakeland. I have three small dogs of my own, who are like my kids. I’m home most of the time so your pet will rarely be unsupervised but when I do need to leave the house, I have steps and protocols in place to assure your pet's safety while I am away. I have a 6ft privacy fenced back yard. All lawn care items are locked away in a shed to lessen the risk of your pet getting into anything potentially toxic. I supervise feedings and separate dogs, if necessary. I can also administer oral medications.

We were very quickly put as easy with Karla's amazing, calm and caring nature and obvious genuine love of animals. Our dogs took to her straight away and not only were ok for the day, but had an associate blast with Karla and her little Coco. About: I have fostered for the SPCA since I was 12 and have owned pets my entire life. I have a passionate love for animals and recently discovered a new passion for pet sitting! I saw a great need for foster parents who could bottle feed abandoned puppies and kittens, could care for older pets needing extra time and expertise, and pets with a wide variety of special needs. After adopting several special needs pets who would otherwise have difficulty finding a forever home (the last two passed away last year), I found myself wanting to adopt every animal I fostered. knowing that wasn’t realistic, I realized pet sitting might be better outlet for me to direct my love for animals (Without the pain of not knowing if the pet I fostered would eventually find a loving home). And I have loved hosting happy pets ever since! My children are now in college, and after losing my precious older dog and cat a couple years ago, I now only have one cat we rescued during a storm. My ultimate goal is for both you and your pet to be comfortable and have peace of mind before and during the time you are away, and I strive to love and entertain them so much that they feel at home (or on vacation) until you come back for them. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. (I have many years experience with disabled, sick or elderly pets). I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but while I have a large double-sized crate, it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed to sleep with us, on furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!

Then I got my own dog, Henry, a Jack Russell Terrier mix who was by my side for 12 wonderful years. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities, and I’m comfortable with walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and lots of cuddles. I’m patient with puppies who may need extra attention and consistency, and I’m also happy to provide a calmer environment for older pets. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, so I’ll always follow your instructions closely to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away! ’m a full-time college student, but all of my classes are in the early afternoon, which leaves me plenty of time in the mornings, evenings, and between classes to care for pets. I’m able to make time for walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention. I’m also happy to follow your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their normal routine consistent so they feel safe and comfortable. I follow all instructions for feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any other specific needs. I make sure they get plenty of attention and love while also respecting their space and personality. I’ll also keep their area clean and make sure they have fresh water and everything they need while you’re away!
About: I grew up in a house hold where we always had some sort of four legged critters. From breeding to part of the family. I prefer four legged companion than 2. It's therapeutic to just chill with someone who just wants to be loved and played with. I've relocated to be closer to my mom. So I'm looking for work to pay my bills. I love animals, so why wouldn't this be an awesome way to make money and play with four legged critters. All care be done in the client's home. So pets are familiar with own surroundings and have a better experience with a random stranger, when it comes to caring for others four legged family member.

About: I have owned dogs since was 9/10 years-old, and enjoy playing with dogs and love keeping them occupied espically puppies. For puppies, I like to help potty-train them by offering treats to understand that "outside is where we use the bathroom not inside". I also pay really close attention to due to possible getting into things. I watch out for things that could possibly hurt your dog. As a dog owener myself I will treat your dog as if it was my own dog at home, giving all the attention and play time there hearts desire. I’m currently not working so I am available during select times. I also know what it is like to need a caregiver for your pets while you are away on a business trip or just a quick get away from reality. I live in an apartment complex where everyone keeps to themselves but as for any home I would treat it as if it were my home and how I would want to make sure things are in the right place
