“This was our first time using James’s for our fur babies and both Winston and Bella just fell into a routine and made themselves right at home! He did a great job entertaining both of our dogs at the same time and loving them equally. They have different foods, and he was able to take care of each of them as they needed to be taken care of. Also, he mentioned that he would keep in touch and send pictures. He absolutely did a great job letting us know how our babies were doing even within a couple hours of dropping them off, and letting us see that they were getting the love and attention they needed. “What a wonderful experience my dog Izzy had with Marcy! Izzy is a 7 lb Morkie that is terrified of other dogs. The bigger the dog, the louder the dog, the more terrified she is, which makes boarding her difficult. Izzy had a great time playing with Marcy’s 5 lb. Betty Boo, so it was a great social experience for my dog. Marcy also is terrific - I knew my dog was getting the best of care in my absence, and all for a reasonable price. I have three small dogs of my own, who are like my kids. I have a 6ft privacy fenced back yard. All lawn care items are locked away in a shed to lessen the risk of your pet getting into anything potentially toxic. About: I have fostered for the SPCA since I was 12 and have owned pets my entire life. I have a passionate love for animals and recently discovered a new passion for pet sitting! After adopting several special needs pets who would otherwise have difficulty finding a forever home (the last two passed away last year), I found myself wanting to adopt every animal I fostered. knowing that wasn’t realistic, I realized pet sitting might be better outlet for me to direct my love for animals (Without the pain of not knowing if the pet I fostered would eventually find a loving home). And I have loved hosting happy pets ever since! My children are now in college, and after losing my precious older dog and cat a couple years ago, I now only have one cat we rescued during a storm. My ultimate goal is for both you and your pet to be comfortable and have peace of mind before and during the time you are away, and I strive to love and entertain them so much that they feel at home (or on vacation) until you come back for them. I work from home, allowing me to be available for your pet at almost all times - which is especially helpful with puppies/kittens, older, or disabled pets that need to be closely watched. (I have many years experience with disabled, sick or elderly pets). I am experienced with giving both oral and injected meds, expressions, helping them eat, exercise, etc. Because I only pet sit one animal family at a time, I am able to adjust to your pet(s) schedule. Whatever makes him/her most comfortable! I take the trust and safety of pets very seriously, only keeping one pet (or family of pets) at a time. I also document a daily diary of their experiences, and send pictures on a daily basis (unless requested otherwise). You can review the daily diary document (as well as information I prefer to obtain before pet sitting), in my photos section. This document includes the preferred vet and emergency center I utilize, although I am happy to contact your preferred vet if provided to me. I also have multiple friends who are veterinarians, and I never hesitate to contact them if I am at all concerned about any pet in my care. I prefer dogs be crate trained if they are young and active, but while I have a large double-sized crate, it is only used if we are all gone for a short time (for the dog’s safety and comfort). The rest of the time pets are welcome on the bed to sleep with us, on furniture, etc. If there is a reason the dog can’t be crated, please discuss it with me and we can come up with safest and best plan for your pet! I also have a room set up for pets in case they want to be alone or have quiet time. It is also helpful if you bring a blanket from home, so s/he is comforted by the familiar smells of you and their loving home!

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was about 12. I’m very experienced and even have three pets of my own, two dogs and one cat. I’ve raised all of my animals since they were babies, so I am comfortable with young animals and confident in my abilities to take care of them. I’m able to confidently administer medication’s as needed to pets at the owner’s request. I am available whenever as long as I am able to work my normal Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM job while pet sitting. The most availability I have is on weekends if you need uninterrupted pet sitting. I make sure that pet safety is the most important thing when taking care of someone else’s pets. I ensure dogs stayed leashed when not in a fenced in environment, and I watch out for cats sneaking out of houses. I will make sure whatever safety concerns the owner has during the visit are my number one priority.

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for most of my life. My first dog was our family’s black Lab, Nya. Then I got my own dog, Henry, a Jack Russell Terrier mix who was by my side for 12 wonderful years. As Henry got older, he experienced a variety of health issues, so I became very comfortable administering medication, including oral medications and eye drops. I’m also familiar with caring for dogs who require a specific diet and a little extra patience and attention. I recently had to say goodbye to Henry, and while I’m not quite ready to welcome another dog of my own, I deeply miss the companionship and joy that comes with having a furry friend around. I know how much trust it takes to put your dog in someone else’s care. Whether they need a good walk, playtime, companionship, or just someone to give them a little extra love while you’re away, I’d love to be someone your family can count on. I’ll treat your dog with the same patience, affection, and care I would want someone to give my own. ❤️ My schedule is very flexible right now, which allows me to make pet care a regular part of my day. I’m available Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, or just some extra companionship while you’re away. I have plenty of flexibility throughout the day, so I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine and schedule whenever possible. If you need care outside of those hours, feel free to reach out! About: I started caring for pets of my own at 18. I have worked as a vet assistant/tech for over 6 years. I am certified in CPR/First Aid and have worked with pets of all ages. My ex-husband and I raised two dogs from puppies and have adopted/fostered many senior pets. One of our dogs is a tripod, one is epileptic, and one is incontinent, so I have special needs experience. I also have experience caring for donkeys, horses, reptiles, chickens, birds, and fish. I pride myself in being kind and patient in nature. It is of the utmost importance that pets in my care feels safe and secure. I work full-time as a vet tech at a vet clinic in Lithia. I just moved to the area from Southern Indiana. I can do visits on my days off or before/after my shifts. My fur babies are more than just out pets; they are our kiddos. Your babies will be treated as such, too! Before I moved, I provided both drop in and boarding services. At this time, I can only do drop ins. I have subscription to Bark Box and a HUGE basket filled to the brim with toys. We keep plenty of blankets and beds around the home. We have a large sectional that we lounge on and a fully fenced in yard. We also have an exercise pen as well as the following sizes of crates on hand: two large, one extra large, and one small. Let us know what arrangements you have in your home so we can best emulate them. We also have baby gates set up to keep pets separate if necessary, and still allows for free roam in a portion of the house.
About: I wake up every early at 4:40 am so if owners need me to walk or run with their dogs early in the morning I can do that. I love dogs and been surrounded by all type of animals my whole life. I will take care of your dog like it was my own. I can also do late at night walks if that works for the client as well. I am pretty fit so I can walk or jog a couple miles. I love playing with dogs as well and really enjoy their company. I just want to be able to help owners with their dogs since I am able to that right now. I am a very calm and trustworthy person and my intentions are that any owner feels comfortable with me walking their dog or their dog staying at my home. About: Firstly, I will listen to your pet's needs that you have, and follow them accordingly. Secondly, I will play with your babies and pay attention to them, with love and affection. I will walk with them around the Lake's, and engage them, by talking to them, so that they know they are loved by me. Thirdly, I do like to play catch and engage them in different games, so their time away from you will fly by for them. Lastly, I am not trained in the Heimlich for dogs, nor CPR, but I have had to do the Heimlich on my own dog, whom was choking on food, to save her life. I look forward to playing with your babies. About: I have owned dogs since was 9/10 years-old, and enjoy playing with dogs and love keeping them occupied espically puppies. For puppies, I like to help potty-train them by offering treats to understand that "outside is where we use the bathroom not inside". I also pay really close attention to due to possible getting into things. I watch out for things that could possibly hurt your dog. As a dog owener myself I will treat your dog as if it was my own dog at home, giving all the attention and play time there hearts desire.
