About: I’ve been a dog lover all my life and until recently been an owner of a small dog for 16 + years but unfortunately have lost him about a year ago to old age. Now I have retired and looking for something to do with my spare time. If you are looking for someone to take care of your small pet in a safe , cosy environment. You are at the right place. I am retired as I mentioned earlier and would be taking care of your fur baby like I took care of my own fur baby for all those years I have a nice fenced yard for your little fur baby to run around and have fun. I don’t like to keep your pet outdoors all the time in Florida heat like most places . They will be indoors with me. I will walk your baby at-least a couple of times on my cosy little neighborhood with least amount of traffic and noise

I spend time volunteering at the local Humane Society to learn how to better care for animals like yours. I’m a full time student looking to make most of my income here on Rover. About: Cherie was a vet tech in Atlanta for 18 years and a part time professional dog walker for 10 years. While in college, Cherie worked at Disney before eventually landing at SeaWorld, where she first met her now wife, Candace. During her college years, Cherie developed a love for birds, amphibians, and maintaining fish aquariums. In 1998, Cherie moved to Atlanta and began her vet tech career for a well known local Veterinary Clinic. Her best friend owns a dog walking company in Atlanta, which Cherie helped to establish. However, that doesn't stop them from being friends with other dogs of varying energy. They won't play with your dog, but they certainly will smell some butts!

Normally, Fozzie is ready to leave wherever he is and doesn't speak to me. He actually ignores me until we get into the car. Her big brown lab was a sweet heart and her cats let Fozzie sniff them, too. Adriana, welcomed me all the way inside her home. The living room was set up for a place for pets to lay & relax; there were multiple cushions on the floor. Her back yard is fenced with ample room for running & playing, with a good size pool for pup swimming. When I came in to pick him up, she didn't rush me out. I bonded with the big guy with lots of rubbing & scratching; Fozzie wasn't his usual jealous self, getting between me and the pet I was petting. This was a very unique experience; it was great. Anytime we are in Jacksonville, FL, I know where Fozzie is going.”

I had to travel for work one week and my husband works long hours at the hospital, so we hired Deborah to walk our puppy during the day. About: I’ve been house and pet sitting for many years to help my family and friends. It’s time to be rewarded for my love for animals and be paid by others for my services. It’s hard to find good “customer service” these days; I am the opposite, your pets will get great service/attention from ME! Bonus: my career has been as an Administrative Assistant so I’m very organized and can assist with other things too, if needed, requested and discussed. I am currently unemployed and have all the time in the world to care for my pet and yours. Toodles of course would stay home. Toodles is an inside cat. She is proven healthy and well fed, I clean the litter box and her food bowls daily. She gets treats and love. We just bought her a new perch to watch the birds and lizards outside the window. In someone else’s home with their pets, I care for them exactly as asked. Walks, feed, love, crate (if necessary), it is what the client wants that their pet shall get!

About: The best part of using Rover for me was the fun pictures of my pup playing I would get from the sitters. So as a sitter, I absolutely love providing you with the best action shots I can get of your little fur baby having a great time while you do the same!! I can send them home with a fresh wash and brush for $40! I have a flexible schedule. I live in an apartment but my complex has a large and small dog park right in front of it. Plenty of play time. Only keep 1-2 pups at a time. Small dogs ONLY (20 pounds and below) Dogs get lots of attention and petting and snuggles around here and I love taking pictures so you’ll get lots of those as well.

By ensuring that I keep same routine that your fur baby is used to will make sure that they feel comfortable because meeting someone new can be nerve wracking. I make sure pets get plenty of love, attention, and are loved as if they were my own — and I keep you updated with messages and plenty of photos so you know your pet is happy and safe. I stick to your pet’s usual schedule for walks, feedings, playtime, and potty breaks to keep things familiar and stress-free. I follow all instructions provided and always double-check things like food portions, medication (if needed), and security (locked doors, gates, etc. Clean-up and tidiness are a priority too; I leave your space just as I found it, or better.
