While in college, Cherie worked at Disney before eventually landing at SeaWorld, where she first met her now wife, Candace. During her college years, Cherie developed a love for birds, amphibians, and maintaining fish aquariums. In 1998, Cherie moved to Atlanta and began her vet tech career for a well known local Veterinary Clinic. Her best friend owns a dog walking company in Atlanta, which Cherie helped to establish. Together, we share our love with 1 Chihuaua, 1 Yorkie, 1 Cockatoo, lots of amphibians, and many, many reptiles. Since changing careers, I've missed meeting so many new dogs and would love to meet and care for your baby or babies! The more the merrier! Candace works from home, so she gets to spend all day with the pups! You never know, she might even hire them to work for her! Someone is always home with your pet, so whatever your pet needs can easily be accommodated. Any pet that comes to us is treated like our own. They can sleep in the bed with us if that's allowed and they can go on any of the furniture. However, we do like to keep your routine if that what you wish. We know how hard it is to trust someone with your babies, we are the same way! Our dogs like to lay around all day and sleep. They are very low energy, except for random outbursts. However, that doesn't stop them from being friends with other dogs of varying energy. They won't play with your dog, but they certainly will smell some butts!

About: I am a responsible individual who has taken care of animals from different types of dogs, cats, goats, hamsters, etc. I am 26 years old and when I was receiving my bachelor's degree in Health Science , I would go to the humane society in my free time to foster the dogs or kittens from there. This would be a great bonding for the both of us and I had gained knowledge from the variety of breeds I've watched over the years. For a few examples, I have watched golden doodles, border collies, lab, golden retrievers, domestic shorthairs, pit bulls, German shepherds, etc. One summer for a few months I routinely took care of a blind and deaf cat and the other cat that was there. I accommodated to the special requirements of this specific cat to ensure she knew where her food/ water bowl was as well as her litter box. In the area where I had lived for a while, I was fostering an Australian shepherd who was older age and had bowel issues. They had given me the medication to take care of him and I felt comfortable and responsible enough to do so. During my week, I have structured hours for my job currently that allow flexibility for availability to watch your loving furballs! I am available for every evening and weekends I am available at any time. I stay active so I would be able to make sure your pet gets a healthy amount of exercise. Our pets aren’t just friends, they are family and that’s why I take pride in helping other owners like myself find someone who they trust to help them one belly rub at a time! I am available during the week before 7 and after 5:30pm and on weekends ! I love giving the chance to provide owners with comfort and stress free care because your fur babies mean just as much to me as they do to you! When caring for your pets in your home, I treat your space how I would expect mine to be treated and that’s with respect. By ensuring that I keep same routine that your fur baby is used to will make sure that they feel comfortable because meeting someone new can be nerve wracking. I make sure pets get plenty of love, attention, and are loved as if they were my own — and I keep you updated with messages and plenty of photos so you know your pet is happy and safe. I stick to your pet’s usual schedule for walks, feedings, playtime, and potty breaks to keep things familiar and stress-free. I follow all instructions provided and always double-check things like food portions, medication (if needed), and security (locked doors, gates, etc. Clean-up and tidiness are a priority too; I leave your space just as I found it, or better.
About: I have fostered cats and kittens for approximately ten years, and know the commitment, awareness, and love it takes to connect with animals of all personality types. I have two cats of my own that were foster-fails, so I am very well versed in the needs of all different kinds of cats, and I will apply the same loving care and attention I provide to my own to your pets. I am extremely aware and will always focus on the safety of your pet. I grew up with two dogs as well, and have plenty of personal experience caring for dogs. I grew up pet sitting and dog walking for neighbors on top of my own dogs. I truly love animals, and want to spend my free time taking care of them. You can trust me with your cats and dogs! I'm currently working part-time, so when I am not doing that I have plenty of time to spare taking care of your pets! I am available on weekends, after work, and the weekdays I am not working. About: Hello! My name is Lindsay and I’ve been working with rescues around Jacksonville for the past 20 years. I started at humane society and worked with a few locals rescues since and have been around all kinds of dogs and temperaments. I am beginning my dog walking and check in business and will expand to dog boarding for special dogs that can’t always go to traditional Boarding. I understand a lot of dogs have special needs from anxiety, not being friendly with other dogs, fears of storms and fireworks, and even medication treatments. I have personally fostered hundreds of dogs from puppies to moms to seniors and am acutely aware that sometimes a walk or check in is a bit more. I understand the guilt of a dog parent not being able to check in on their babies or give them enough time during the work week and I’m here to help with that. I look forward to creating a consistent client base of wonderful dog families that may be overlooked or unable to be cared for by the standard walker. I am happy to take your dog to parks to socialize safely, handle vet appointments better than your husband or even just reassure you that you are doing your best as a pet parent. While not yet training certified, I have completed training with several trainers and fosters and can help with the basics and/or continue your style of training for additional reinforcement. Above all your dogs happiness and health is the most important. And a happy dog is much better at home to help you with your stress too 🥰 I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies and becoming someone you can rely on when needed. I will not use shock collars or prong collars for walking. For safety reasons I will not use retractable leashes either. I have plenty of spare harnesses and leashes for walking if needed. I also believe creating a bond of trust and leadership with your dogs is important. I ensure your pet doesn’t get overheated and takes breaks as needed. Weather is funny in Florida and I will make sure you pet can walk, potty and play safely.
