I have a very large house and big, fenced back yard that is ready for games of catch, relaxing, running and canine fun. I love to go on dog walks and play with my doggie guests. About: Growing up in a family with dogs, I have spent my entire life learning about, playing with, and loving on all breeds. I have developed a deep foundation of knowledge for most dog breeds and understand their unique activity levels and temperament. I work a hybrid schedule so I will be working from home twice a week. Whether we're just hanging around my 3 bedroom apartment, going on frequent walks outside, or going to the dog park that's within 20 feet of my front door, your pet will feel right at home with me. I work full time but on a hybrid schedule, so I'm able to work from home twice a week. On days that I am home, I'm able to provide frequent walks and playtime at the dog park. I have crates for comfort and safety when I'm away if needed. If your pet is not crate trained, I can enclose them in a bedroom for safety, or let them roam freely in the apartment. Pets are welcome on the furniture.

About: I have always grown up and been around dogs and cats. I grew up with big dog breeds and they will always hold my heart, but I currently have a small dog who I love like a human child haha. I’ve been around and helped train puppies and also have experience with older doggies. I accept and love all shapes, sizes, ages, and breeds. I have a full time remote job , so I am always home! I may go to the gym for an hour but I am never more than 20 minutes away from my house. I have time during my day for long walks and even longer cuddle sessions. I have a larger apartment so accommodate any size doggo and my own small pup to offer some company to yours! I also love to be outside and go on walks so there is no shortage of outside time.

About: I’ve been around many kinds of animals my whole life, including dogs, turtles, rabbits, fish, and guinea pigs. My childhood dog, Zoey, was an older German Shepherd who really shaped my understanding of and love for animals. I grew up in a very animal-loving family where caring for pets was seen as an important part of building responsibility and character. I’m very comfortable with big dogs and used to handling high-energy personalities. Now as an adult, I have my own dog, Aries, a sweet and playful 3-year-old Pitbull Lab mix, who I’ve had since she was a puppy. Being a dog owner myself helps me understand how important it is to fully trust the person caring for your pet. I’ve personally used Rover and had great experiences, and I’m excited to provide that same level of care, communication, and reliability to others. I genuinely love spending time with animals, whether that means going on walks, playing, or just cuddling and keeping them company. I’m currently studying biology and hope to work in the veterinary field one day, so caring for animals truly means a lot to me. I am currently just a student, so I have plenty of time for your pets! I'm home the majority of the time, except for my saturday classes and I'm available any day of the week! If I'm never not home either my sister or father will step in. My home has a big open first floor where dogs are free to hang out and make themselves comfortable. They’re also welcome to sleep in my bedroom if they like being close at night. I don’t allow pets on the couch, but they’ll always have their own comfy spots to relax. I do have a yard, and while it isn’t fenced, I use a secure leash setup so dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor time with supervision. I also use my open garage as a great shaded space for my dog to relax for 2-3 hours a day. I supervise our Ring Cameras frequently. Fresh water and a comfortable resting area are always provided.

About: My siblings would ask me to babysit their dogs while they were away, and I always made it a point to leave their homes as I found it. I’ve worked in childcare and taught karate for three years now (not saying is the same thing) so your pet will be receiving the attention and play they need. Karate lessons too if they’d like🙌! I work part time at a martial arts school. Tuesday and Thursday nights I am working for certain. Throughout the day I’m available to walk/babysit/etc. I have work on my laptop so I can take whatever I need to a home and house sit at the same time. I always want to keep an eye on them, making frequent checks to see how they’re doing. I’d like to be informed of any quirks or habits I should be aware of so the pet is comfortable and receives the best care possible. If they want to play, I’m so ready to play!

I had to travel for work one week and my husband works long hours at the hospital, so we hired Deborah to walk our puppy during the day. About: Ever since I was little, I have a huge heart for dogs. It wasn’t until I was 10 that I finally had a family dog, and from then on dogs have always been a part of my life. I’ve done personal dog-sitting on and off for a few years for some friends and family and I’ve always really enjoyed it. I did Rover a few years ago and loved it, but life got a bit crazy so I had to pause it. I was still able to consistently dogsit for some repeat customers these last few years, and now my wife Linsey joins me in that! Your dog can expect walks at the park or in our neighborhood and for my home to be their home. If your dog likes play dates, my Rover friends would certainly be about it! My normal job is pretty flexible on where I can work, so if your dog needs extra attention, working from home is totally doable. Between me and Linsey, at least one of us is always home. I’ve done Rover on and off for the last 8 years, and have really enjoyed it! My job is super flexible, with set hours only 2 nights a week and once during the day. I’m mostly working from home or at coffee shops, so it’s super easy to stay home with a dog. Between me and my wife, someone can pretty much always be with your pet. Our home is your dog’s home. If they want to go on the couch or follow us around, by all mean. If they like their space, I’ll give them space. Many dogs have taken a snooze on our couch, legs in the air.

About: The best part of using Rover for me was the fun pictures of my pup playing I would get from the sitters. So as a sitter, I absolutely love providing you with the best action shots I can get of your little fur baby having a great time while you do the same!! I can send them home with a fresh wash and brush for $40! I have a flexible schedule. I live in an apartment but my complex has a large and small dog park right in front of it. Plenty of play time. Only keep 1-2 pups at a time. Small dogs ONLY (20 pounds and below) Dogs get lots of attention and petting and snuggles around here and I love taking pictures so you’ll get lots of those as well.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for just about every kind you can imagine. I grew up with dogs and cats and my family lives on a farm, so being around animals of all sizes and personalities has always been a normal part of my life. I’ve raised both puppies and kittens and have experience with many different dog breeds, including German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, Basset Hounds, Dachshunds, and more. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and genuinely love getting to know each animal’s personality. I also have experience caring for pets at every stage of life, from young puppies to seniors. My Basset Hound is now 14 and I’ve cared for him since he was eight weeks old, and I’ve also had cats well into their senior years. I’m comfortable administering medications and giving older pets the extra patience, attention, and care they may need. In high school, I also volunteered at my local police station, where I helped care for the K9s during their off time. I currently have a cat of my own who I’ve raised since he was six weeks old, and he is truly my pride and joy. I’m definitely the person who gets excited when there’s a pet anywhere nearby, so spending time with yours would be just as fun for me as it is helpful for you. I’m currently a master’s student and work part-time, so my schedule gives me plenty of flexibility to spend time caring for pets throughout the week. I’m especially available for dog walks, daily drop-ins for feeding and potty breaks, and visits just to give your pet some extra attention and company while you’re away. I know some pets can get anxious, lonely, or just plain bored when their people aren’t home, so I’m always happy to spend a little extra time playing, cuddling, or simply hanging out with them so they feel comfortable and cared for. When needed, I’m also open to overnight stays. I just prefer to meet you and your pets first so everyone can get comfortable and make sure it feels like a good fit before spending the night. I always try to keep pets as comfortable and close to their normal routine as possible. In a client’s home, I follow feeding schedules, walk routines, medication instructions, and any house rules carefully so your pet feels secure while you’re away. I also make sure doors, gates, leashes, and anything else related to their safety are checked before and after each visit. As a pet owner myself, I know how nerve-racking it can be to leave your baby in someone else’s hands. I want you to feel confident that your pet is being cared for by someone who is attentive, patient, and genuinely excited to spend time with them. About: I have dog-sat for pets of different sizes, breeds, and temperaments for about 10 years now. I have walked, house-sat, or boarded pets for many friends and families, and I have loved caring for these sweet furry friends! I also volunteer at the Jacksonville Humane Society with their "dog's day out" program and walk dogs through that! About: Hello! My name is Lindsay and I’ve been working with rescues around Jacksonville for the past 20 years. I started at humane society and worked with a few locals rescues since and have been around all kinds of dogs and temperaments. I am beginning my dog walking and check in business and will expand to dog boarding for special dogs that can’t always go to traditional Boarding. I understand a lot of dogs have special needs from anxiety, not being friendly with other dogs, fears of storms and fireworks, and even medication treatments. I have personally fostered hundreds of dogs from puppies to moms to seniors and am acutely aware that sometimes a walk or check in is a bit more. I understand the guilt of a dog parent not being able to check in on their babies or give them enough time during the work week and I’m here to help with that. I am happy to take your dog to parks to socialize safely, handle vet appointments better than your husband or even just reassure you that you are doing your best as a pet parent. While not yet training certified, I have completed training with several trainers and fosters and can help with the basics and/or continue your style of training for additional reinforcement. I also believe creating a bond of trust and leadership with your dogs is important. I ensure your pet doesn’t get overheated and takes breaks as needed. Weather is funny in Florida and I will make sure you pet can walk, potty and play safely.
