About: Hello! My name is Lindsay and I’ve been working with rescues around Jacksonville for the past 20 years. I started at humane society and worked with a few locals rescues since and have been around all kinds of dogs and temperaments. I am beginning my dog walking and check in business and will expand to dog boarding for special dogs that can’t always go to traditional Boarding. I understand a lot of dogs have special needs from anxiety, not being friendly with other dogs, fears of storms and fireworks, and even medication treatments. I have personally fostered hundreds of dogs from puppies to moms to seniors and am acutely aware that sometimes a walk or check in is a bit more. I understand the guilt of a dog parent not being able to check in on their babies or give them enough time during the work week and I’m here to help with that. I look forward to creating a consistent client base of wonderful dog families that may be overlooked or unable to be cared for by the standard walker. I am happy to take your dog to parks to socialize safely, handle vet appointments better than your husband or even just reassure you that you are doing your best as a pet parent. While not yet training certified, I have completed training with several trainers and fosters and can help with the basics and/or continue your style of training for additional reinforcement. About: I have two cats at home; A 15yr old Maine Coon - blind (so I have experience with disabled pets!!) he's super smart, & gentle. My other is a 3yr old Tabby - she's very talkative, playful & mischievous. I have also lived with many cats in the past which were not my own, and have owned cats prior to my 15yr old. As a quick note; I have unfortunately been victim to a brutal cat attack from a previous roommates pet, so I must mention my preference for cat-sitting spayed/neutered cats only, with no history of aggression. She met me at the hospital to get my keys and took such good care of my babies, sending me pictures and updates that gave me so much peace of mind. But what she did beyond that completely shocked me. I came home to a clean apartment. She took out all my trash, cleaned my kitchen, washed dishes, bought bowls for my cats, left cleaning supplies and even flowers on the counter. About: I’ve taken care of my lab that is no longer with me for 7 years and I frequently host my friends dogs for weeks at a time while they are deployed. I work for the U.S. Coast Guard Monday through Friday. My normal work hours are 8-2 but the hours flex daily and I usually have at least one day off through the week not including weekends. I have a fenced in backyard and I live by myself so your pet will have free reign over the property. I can also crate your dog if needed while I’m out of the house.

About: Cherie was a vet tech in Atlanta for 18 years and a part time professional dog walker for 10 years. While in college, Cherie worked at Disney before eventually landing at SeaWorld, where she first met her now wife, Candace. During her college years, Cherie developed a love for birds, amphibians, and maintaining fish aquariums. In 1998, Cherie moved to Atlanta and began her vet tech career for a well known local Veterinary Clinic. Her best friend owns a dog walking company in Atlanta, which Cherie helped to establish. She has been involved in many rescue groups throughout the Central Florida area. We just moved to Jacksonville from Orlando to be closer to family. We actually delayed the moved for a few years because we could not leave all of the dogs & pet parents that had become a part of our family. We still have some families that make the drive to drop their babies off with us. We have a good neighborhood with sidewalks for taking strolls. We also have a large fenced in back yard. We have experience for special needs cases. We are able to administer medications and subcutaneous injections. We are well versed in dog nutrition for those pups with sensitivities. Together, we share our love with 1 Chihuaua, 1 Yorkie, 1 Cockatoo, lots of amphibians, and many, many reptiles. Candace works from home, so she gets to spend all day with the pups! You never know, she might even hire them to work for her! Someone is always home with your pet, so whatever your pet needs can easily be accommodated. Any pet that comes to us is treated like our own. They can sleep in the bed with us if that's allowed and they can go on any of the furniture. However, we do like to keep your routine if that what you wish. We know how hard it is to trust someone with your babies, we are the same way! Our dogs like to lay around all day and sleep. They are very low energy, except for random outbursts. However, that doesn't stop them from being friends with other dogs of varying energy. They won't play with your dog, but they certainly will smell some butts!
About: I have fostered cats and kittens for approximately ten years, and know the commitment, awareness, and love it takes to connect with animals of all personality types. I have two cats of my own that were foster-fails, so I am very well versed in the needs of all different kinds of cats, and I will apply the same loving care and attention I provide to my own to your pets. I am extremely aware and will always focus on the safety of your pet. I grew up with two dogs as well, and have plenty of personal experience caring for dogs. I grew up pet sitting and dog walking for neighbors on top of my own dogs. I truly love animals, and want to spend my free time taking care of them. You can trust me with your cats and dogs! I'm currently working part-time, so when I am not doing that I have plenty of time to spare taking care of your pets! I am available on weekends, after work, and the weekdays I am not working. About: Hello! My name is Lindsay and I’ve been working with rescues around Jacksonville for the past 20 years. I started at humane society and worked with a few locals rescues since and have been around all kinds of dogs and temperaments. I am beginning my dog walking and check in business and will expand to dog boarding for special dogs that can’t always go to traditional Boarding. I understand a lot of dogs have special needs from anxiety, not being friendly with other dogs, fears of storms and fireworks, and even medication treatments. I have personally fostered hundreds of dogs from puppies to moms to seniors and am acutely aware that sometimes a walk or check in is a bit more. I understand the guilt of a dog parent not being able to check in on their babies or give them enough time during the work week and I’m here to help with that. I look forward to creating a consistent client base of wonderful dog families that may be overlooked or unable to be cared for by the standard walker. I am happy to take your dog to parks to socialize safely, handle vet appointments better than your husband or even just reassure you that you are doing your best as a pet parent. While not yet training certified, I have completed training with several trainers and fosters and can help with the basics and/or continue your style of training for additional reinforcement. Above all your dogs happiness and health is the most important. I will not use shock collars or prong collars for walking. For safety reasons I will not use retractable leashes either. I have plenty of spare harnesses and leashes for walking if needed. I also believe creating a bond of trust and leadership with your dogs is important. I ensure your pet doesn’t get overheated and takes breaks as needed. Weather is funny in Florida and I will make sure you pet can walk, potty and play safely.

About: I've taken care of dogs for over 30 years. I love all breeds, temperaments and ages from puppies to seniors. I have a very large house and big, fenced back yard that is ready for games of catch, relaxing, running and canine fun. I love to go on dog walks and play with my doggie guests. I have an extremely friendly Catahoula that loves company. Dog sitting allows her companionship and me the joy of other dogs without having to adopt another. My dog Paisley is my baby and I treat all other dogs guests as such, sending pictures and updates daily. I work from home so your baby is never left alone and I am animal CPR certified in case there were to ever be an emergency. I work from home and am self employed.
