About: I worked in the dog grooming industry for 20 years. I've bathed and walked every kind of dog! I love animals and at my age walking is all I'm up for now lol I'm retired but still need the love of a dog. The variety I had at the grooming shop has left me wanted it again. I have 2 small older dogs whom I've had since they we're puppies. But they sleep a lot and aren't up to walking anymore... So this is a happy alternative for me. About: I have my own doggies, they are both 3! I’m used too picking up the pet care when parents leave to go out of town and just take stress off their shoulders! Friends and family, cats and dog i’ve always been the one they call. I’m used to very strategic routines with my baby’s so i’m willing to do the same for yours. Doing the best in every way to make my stay with them as comfortable as possible! I currently work 5 days a week 8-2pm and i’m looking too pick up something i’m actually interested in, We all know how a high school job can last after high school when it wasn’t planned and i’m very interested in baby sitting and pet sitting for people and just giving back the love i share with my animals where it’s needed! I have a fenced in yard for both of my puppies and everyday i come home and make sure they get plenty of play time with me. They have a routine with me, I feed them every evening at 5pm and give them supplements for their health so they live the longest and happiest life !

About: I recently moved to Florida and acquired cats. I have learned a lot in rescuing them. I lost my last rescue but he lived his best last month with me. I was working on refeed on an extremely emaciated cat, I know how to refeed without causing refeed syndrome (which can kill emaciated animals). I know basic first aid and the signs to look for if something is wrong.

I love meeting new animals! i’ve rescued cats and dogs and even volunteered at the shelter for over a year! i work part time but im available any time im not working! :) i’ve worked with all sorts of dogs including high energy, puppies, and senior dogs. i’m also able to work with dogs that are reactive! i am available to give medication as well! i currently work a full-time job so i need to know in advance about petsitting in case i am working! that way i can see if it can be worked out! i like to meet the dog calmly and maybe give them a treat so that they know they can trust me, i also like to know about the dogs behavior and how they are around other people’s cats/animals!

While there I managed a staff of ten and helped transform their low cost spay and neuter facility of 500 patients to a full service clinic of over 10,000. I recently moved to Georgia and am excited to start volunteering at the local animal shelter. Sadly my dog passed away in 2019, and I have yet to bring home another angel. That's one of the reasons I love Rovering! It's like being a dog grandmother - I get to spoil them to pieces! My motto is safety first, then nothing but fun! I enjoy taking care of all dogs, but there is a special place in my heart for the oldies but goodies. I work remotely so watching your boo is part of my favorite job! I am at home throughout the day and am focused on your boo. In my home safety is always my number one priority. I make sure to keep and clean and tidy space. Water will always be fresh and topped off. The floor and counters are free from things your boo can get into. Rules stay the same as if your boo was at home.
About: I have had experience growing up with two two dogs aiding in training and care. I also have had an adopted 6 month year old that was scarred from being at the shelter and working him out of his shell thanks to my experience working for a year and half at Petco dealing with everything from generalized caregiving to health remedies and understanding of generalized health. My availability does fluctuate due to my being in retail management with no further constrictions during holiday. This fact alone has kept me from being a dog parent myself due to a continuously changing schedule personally. With proper notice I can make sure my schedule can align with expectations. My apartment is animal free apartment with no risk of anyone getting along with another. I’m in a open complex in that there’s no restrictions of breeds. I’ve rescued two dogs from my complex due to my my rigorous schedule I can’t regularly have a companion of my own, however I can accommodate for time periods to make sure they’re taken care of properly.

“Adriana was amazing! My dog took to her immediately and he’s normally shy. She had a pool for my dog to swim in and a big backyard for him to run around and play. “I just moved back to Jax and needed to find a new pet sitter for my toy poodle. I was scheduled to be out of town for 4 days and I had anxiety about leaving him with someone he was unfamiliar with for that amount of time. She offered to give me a call to walk me through how the app works and we talked in depth about my dog. She asked all kinds of questions and gave super helpful suggestions. Before I completed my booking, I asked if we could do a meet & greet so that her and Jinger could meet and she happily agreed. They hit it off perfectly. 2 days later I dropped Jinger for his extended vacay and I could tell my baby had the time of his life. Layda sent pictures and videos multiple times throughout the day and she was always responsive when I checked in. She allowed him to be comfortable and feel at home and I really appreciated that. Based on my first (of many more to come) booking, I can tell that Layda truly cares about what she does and thats a great feeling as a pet mom.”
