About: I have taken care of dogs (and cats) since I was a teenager. I am thinking about moving my life again so am waiting for my next pet. I have had pets all my life. In the mean time I would love to make yours my own when they need a part time friend. I have recently moved back to Jacksonville and am not working at the moment. I am available when you and yours need me. I miss having a pet and really enjoy taking care of others. Recently I was living with my son and his family. I was in charge of their dog as well as meals. About: My profile saids Michelle, but please call me Micah 🙏😊 My first time caring for a dog was when my family adopted a miniature, silver-haired, poodle puppy, that I named Shadow back in 2007 before attending university. Before graduating high school, my neighbors would ask me to look after their own four-legged family members (mostly dogs and cats) when they went out of town. I provided excellent care for their pets as if they were my own. I also have experience from working at a dog daycare and boarding facility between 2015 and 2016. The facility hosted dogs as small as Yorkies and as big as Great Danes. My duties at the daycare was to supervise play, clean up after the dogs, keep the facility clean, stay overnight for dogs that were boarding, help with feeding, give oral medication and provide transportation for dogs to their preferred vets whenever necessary. Since 2016, I have been providing pet care services through Rover and making long-lasting relationships with families and their furkids. I'm also open to taking care of of other pets as well. We'll just discuss beforehand. I currently work 25-40 hours per week at a salon, so pups that can go at least 8 hours without a potty break or are chill and comfortable in a salon work environment would be the best fit. I currently live in a 3br apartment with my service dog and my domestic partner. I have more experience as a house sitter and can be trusted to keep up with house chores such as collecting mail, watering plants, taking out the garbage, etc.

About: When you board with us, your pet gets more than a place to stay, your pet gets a family to be a part of. We are a family of 6 humans, 1 dog, and 5 chickens and 2 ducks. Your pet will have plenty of playmates! I am a single mother who works from home. I drop off and pick up my kids from school, and run the occasional errand, but usually I am home. I enjoy an evening walk with my chocolate lab and would love your pet to join us. I have a fully fenced, large backyard. I also have two extra crates if your dog is crate-trained and feels more comfortable sleeping in a crate. Pets being on furniture is discouraged, but rarely enforced. I have an SUV and am willing to transport pets if needed.

About: I’ve had pets all my life. From guinea pigs to chihuahuas to pitties. I’ve yet to meet an animal I didn’t like and I don’t plan to ever. I spend time volunteering at the local Humane Society to learn how to better care for animals like yours. I’m a full time student looking to make most of my income here on Rover. I also spend a few hours a week at the Humane Society. I've had animals as long as I've been self-aware. My family dogs include a senior chihuahua and a 7 year old pittie. At home, my family includes two kitties, Moomin (5) and Toro (1), who are both from the Jacksonville Humane Society! They are my pride and joy and I consider them my sons. I work well with all pets. “Kelly & James are excellent!!! We had to travel urgently and found them just the previous day. Kelly takes time to understand your pet and their needs thoroughly. They looked after our pet very well and kept us updated with texts and pictures. Our pet is very anxious and takes time to get comfortable with new people but our pet did really well with Kelly & James. They are also very good at understanding each pet's temperament and managing them at the same time. They are passionate and genuinely care for the pets. Our pet enjoyed her stay at Kelly & James!! I would highly recommend Kelly & James and would definitely be a repeat customer!!”
