I had a last minute emergency creating the need for a dog boarder for a holiday weekend on the Thursday before the holiday for my nervous nilly dog. I found them in my Rover account. They had a space for my dog and let us come over that same day for a meet and greet. My nervous nilly dog showed me right away how comfortable she was there. I loved what I saw and booked with them right away. Over the weekend, my fur baby was allowed to do the kinds of things we let her do at home - snuggle up on our chairs with us, sleep in our bed, etc. In addition to their fenced-in back yard, they went on daily walks and played in the house with their dog and 1 other that was also there for the weekend. I recieved photos and I could tell my dog was having a great time. When I picked her up yesterday I could quickly see that she was not stressed at all from this new last-minute situation. I give the credit to JoAnn & Chris for making my baby feel loved and at home in their home in our absense. I will absolutely book them again! They were awesome!!”

“Sommer and Garrett were absolutely great! They are a beautiful family that love and understand dogs. Their kids help out so much our pups had plenty of attention, cuddles and play time. Their back yard is spacious for active dogs and they are never alone. Luna is very anxious and they knew how to deal with her with lots of care. I was a bit worried because Luna and Moka sleep with me, but there was no issues… they cuddled with them and slept all night. “After my meet and greet with Katie and all their household members I was a lot less concerned about leaving Sam and Shamus. These boys are my children and leaving them their was one less worry, probably my biggest worry, about going away for a few days! Katie seemed to know what she was doing, and being a long time breeder in the past I feel I have a certain sense about people when it comes to dogs! She picked up our babies, right on time, as my heart couldn't drop them off and feel ok with it! She started sending pictures and updates as soon as she got our babies to their new sleep over camp. Throughout our time away we received many updates, pictures, videos and it was so reassuring to see how happy and well cared they were! Mostly, I was relieved to see how they really fit in and how quickly they adapted! When Katie dropped them off after our return, although it was great to see they were happy to see us it was also very reassuring to see that without hesitation they would have jumped back into her vehicle without giving it a second thought. I have never seen my 2 boys so calm and relaxed and to pickup our routine after being gone for 3 days. Without hesitation, I would utilize Katie in any of our future travels and we know there will be at least two or more coming up in the winter and spring of next year!!! I might, from time to time, arrange to drop them off for an occasional play date just to play with the friends they met and her great back yard for them to play for a day here and there!! We gave them 5 stars!!!”

About: I grew up with dogs all my life. I appreciate what they do for me. I have owned dogs of a variety of sizes Big (Labradors - Sassie and Flounder), Cocker Spaniel (Cleo), Basset Hound (Ginger), Terrier (Kush), and Pomeranian (Foxy). I learned by caring for these dogs that the most important thing is to identify each dog's individual needs by paying attention to how they are feeling and how they interact with me and the other dogs. I personalize my care for each dog. I am experienced with: - puppies as well as elder dogs and all ages in between. - administering medications as needed. - personalized feeding schedules. - personalized walking schedules and outdoors time. - crate trained or not. I am currently a stay at home wife who has plenty of time to take care of dogs up to 40 lbs. My home is pet friendly, with doorway gates to make sure that each dog has a safe place to eat and enjoy their stay at my home. My schedule is flexible and can be changed and updated on an as needed basis, I have a back yard and a safe sidewalk that is easily accessible outside my front door. My back yard has grass and a screened in porch for those days when it is comfortable for dogs to be outside.

About: Hi! I'm Renee. Within the last year and a half both of our English mastiffs have passed. They have such a great life with us though and completed our family! I really want to have a dog in the home (temporarily, of course) since we do not plan on getting another one quite yet. Our mastiffs were truly our babies are were treated like royalty. I am a stay at home mom so I am home all of the time! Perfect for a needy pup. Haha. We have a fenced in yard, plenty of space and a fun toddler who can keep up with their energy. I am an avid walker ready to wear your baby out for miles and miles a day if needed or just walking a slow few houses away if distance is a struggle. My home is free reign to your animal and they can treat it as their own. So no worries to couch cuddlers or bed sleepers! Runners and bolters will be closely watched and contained. For elderly mobility issue animals any stairs or hard to navigate issues will be blocked off. So safety is directly attended to!

And I have owned exotic birds and currently own an Amazon parrot. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me with their furry children over several years. At one point, our family had four dogs and four cats, giving me experience managing the needs of multiple pets at once. About: I’m 47 years old and have been caring for pets my entire life. From my first kitten, snowball, at 5 years old, to my current dog and 3 cats. I grew up on a horse boarding stable and spent most of my childhood riding and showing horses. I wanted to be a veterinarian back then and would follow Dr. Scott all over when he’d visit. I never made it to vet, but spent several years in my 20’s working as a vet tech and groomers assistant. I have been sitting with Rover for several years now and love spending time with my fur friends! Don’t worry, my family is home with my babies when I’m gone on a stay! “After my meet and greet with Katie and all their household members I was a lot less concerned about leaving Sam and Shamus. These boys are my children and leaving them their was one less worry, probably my biggest worry, about going away for a few days! Katie seemed to know what she was doing, and being a long time breeder in the past I feel I have a certain sense about people when it comes to dogs! She picked up our babies, right on time, as my heart couldn't drop them off and feel ok with it! She started sending pictures and updates as soon as she got our babies to their new sleep over camp. Throughout our time away we received many updates, pictures, videos and it was so reassuring to see how happy and well cared they were! Mostly, I was relieved to see how they really fit in and how quickly they adapted! When Katie dropped them off after our return, although it was great to see they were happy to see us it was also very reassuring to see that without hesitation they would have jumped back into her vehicle without giving it a second thought. I have never seen my 2 boys so calm and relaxed and to pickup our routine after being gone for 3 days. Without hesitation, I would utilize Katie in any of our future travels and we know there will be at least two or more coming up in the winter and spring of next year!!! I might, from time to time, arrange to drop them off for an occasional play date just to play with the friends they met and her great back yard for them to play for a day here and there!! We gave them 5 stars!!!”
