Overnight boarding is available for potty-trained pets, and dog walking can be included as part of their stay. About: Kitties are my jam - I've had and taken care of cats for most of my life, including a handsome tuxedo kitty that lived to be 19 years old! Such curious creatures, I enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and preferences to make them feel safe and cared for while their parents are away. As a cat mom myself, I like to read/listen about cat psychology, behavior, and even nutrition to be able to help them live their best life possible since they have given mine so much joy. One of my current girls has no teeth (as a result of caudal stomatitis) and a very sensitive stomach - it took some trial and error but seeing her thrive now was well worth it. I promise to give the same level of attention and care to your pet and to let you know if I observe anything that seems unusual. I've gotten pretty good at clipping nails and giving topical/oral meds and am familiar with cleaning up after accidents. I try to use my intuitive kitty whisperer skills and patience to connect with even the shyest of cats. As an animal rescue volunteer, I have also fostered kittens in my home - so much fun, even for my own cats. About: I’m a counselor during the school year and have side jobs to supplement my income. Kids and animals love me as I love them even more! ;) For the pets that I fall in love with, I will maintain those services. I have a therapy dog that works along side me. About: I’ve cared for dogs consistently for neighbors since I was growing up, which gave me hands-on experience with different breeds, personalities, and routines. Last summer, I also worked at Groomerie as a dog bather, where I learned how to safely handle dogs, read body language, keep pets calm, and make sure they felt comfortable during care. What sets me apart is that I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I understand that every dog has different needs—whether that means extra energy on walks, gentle care for nervous pups, or a calm approach with older dogs. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, happy, and cared for like family. Pet care fits well into my routine this semester. I’m a college student taking three online courses, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. I’m also shadowing for OT and PT three days a week, but outside of those hours I have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with pets. I enjoy staying active and spending time with animals, so pet care is something I’m excited to make part of my weekly routine. Safety and trust are always my top priorities when caring for pets. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any house rules they have in place. I know consistency helps pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I’m attentive to each pet’s behavior, keep a clean and safe environment, and always make sure doors, gates, leashes, and food areas are secure. During walks, I stay alert to surroundings and make safety my main focus. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel confident knowing their pet is happy and well cared for.
About: I’m a counselor during the school year and have side jobs to supplement my income. Kids and animals love me as I love them even more! ;) For the pets that I fall in love with, I will maintain those services. I have a therapy dog that works along side me. I’ve given medicine, bathe, love on them and will be their fill in mommy/daddy until you return. ;) I’m also open to discussing the costs. ***Currently I don’t have any pets of my own so I have a lot of flexibility. During the school year I’m a school counselor. I have flexibility with the job as I’m able to leave for a lunch break/check on your pup. Also, my counselor hours are 8:15-3:30. I am in early and off early to be able to check on your animals. *** I will be in town for the holidays :) I feed them, provide love, walks, and play with them. I am happy to have your kennel here for them if it helps them feel more comfortable. That is not a requirement though. I prefer going to your home only because the animals tend to do better in their own house.
