“Hello Rover,, I'm new to the area and just moved into my house a month ago. Needing a cat sitter, my daughter told me to look on Rover. When i first logged on to your site, I saw Jennie's kind smile and that she was close by. So I figured it would be a win win. Boy, did I get way more than I bargained for!! I don't even know where to begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for Jennie! First, I'd like to thank her for taking care of my cat under more than extreme circumstances! I never thought I could ever get such impeccable service. The story has a twist and becomes even more extraordinary. On my recent trip, on the third day I left the country. Something told me to message Jennie and let her know I could only receive messages from messenger. As I did, I asked if everything was OK. She responded "your cat is ok". This is what followed. Evidently some sort of "Super Cell" developed and decided to dump approximately 6 inches of rain in 45 minutes on my house! Jennie saw how bad the sky looked over my way and decided to make the trip over. What normally is a 5 minute ride turned into 20 due to the rain coming down so hard she couldn't see the road. Upon her arrival, the water was 6 to 8 inches above the threshold, so she didn't want to open the door. She left and came back later to find my downstairs flooded! The water had started to receed and little Miss Wonder Woman jumped into action and advised me step by step as I, near hysteria, hung on her every message, knowing I couldn't get back til Monday (this happened Friday evening !) She moved furniture and pulled out rugs as her daughter and cousin swept the water to the street. She secured my cat in the upstairs and did her best to calm her. Jennie went out and rented a rug cleaner and cleaned my large area rug ( just a cat sitter?! Whatever!!). She turned on fans and cleaned everything she could!! Not once did I ask her to do anything --- she just took care of everything. When I asked her why she did it, her response was, "That's how I was raised, you help people". At that moment I could have kissed her parents on the mouth! My cat is now healed from the trauma, still skittish, but that's to be expected. The house is getting back together, but it would have been a total loss without Jennie's help. Pets are allowed on all furniture and can sleep wherever they choose at night. I will take the dogs outside regularly so they can play or do potty whenever they please. If you dog prefers walks, I live on a low traffic dirt road great for long walks! I live alone, I have two rescued Dobermans and a cat. All of them are very friendly and get along great with other animals. I do have two ducks that stay outside. If your dog is not friendly with ducks, the ducks can be kept in a contained area away from your dog. In the past I have dog sat, I worked at a dog daycare/boarding/rescue organization, walked dogs, volunteered at Vet's. I would love to take care of your fur babies!! I work 9-5. If needed, I can come home on lunch to let your dog outside in my fenced in back yard for potty break. If your dog is used to being inside during the 8 hour work day then I will plan to do potty breaks before and after work and into the evening before bed time. I have a fenced in secure back yard with lots of room for doggies to run and play. My home is also very pet friendly, they are allowed on couches and beds anytime!

From long walks and playtime to feeding routines and giving lots of attention, we understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. We’re comfortable following specific instructions to make sure your pet stays happy, safe, and on their normal routine while you’re away. My sister, who you’ll be mainly interacting with, is reliable, patient, and genuinely loves animals. She has hands-on experience with pet sitting, walking, and making sure pets feel comfortable in new situations. Whether your pet needs extra playtime, calm companionship, or just someone to stick to their routine, she’s got it covered. We know how important trust is when it comes to your pets, so we’re committed to clear communication, updates, and giving you peace of mind. I am a full time nursing student at the moment. I have quite a busy schedule but I am always free to give my time for dogs and cats because they bring me so much joy. I am mostly free on weekends but I do offer a full Thursday as well. For Monday’s, I have Zoom meetings every week from 4:30pm-6:45pm so if that’s something I can work on while being with your pets, it works out! I can offer to take your pets for walks, or simply play with them in the yard, or just lay around and cuddle with them if they are the more relaxed kinds. I am not offering boarding at the moment, so any services I am offering, it will be held at your place set by your rules!
About: I’ve been taking care of pets for over five years now. My family and friends rely on me when they go out of town or call me when they need advice on how to care for their pets :) I work fives days a week Monday-Friday 5a-1:30p and I’m off on the weekends so that leaves plenty of time to spend relaxing around the house or running around the yard or whatever else they may fancy I live in a large house with a huge fenced in yard that all the doggies love! They are well-managed, and I take care to ensure safe, controlled interactions. I can also keep pets fully separated at all times if preferred, using multi-barrier safety measures.
About: I've been working with animals since I was 19 and have been doing general pet/child care since I was 15. I love animals and enjoy any time I get to spend with furbabies of any sort. I'm currently unemployed and trying to make pet and child care my career with hopes to eventually have my own small business started. I'm available pretty much any time with at least a few hours in advance to make sure I have everything I need. In the clients home I make sure all animals are well cared for and given plenty of love and attention. About: Hello animal enthusiasts! My name is Katie and I have worked with animals in a multitude of settings. Jane Goodall (Primatologist) was always an idol of mine. As I grew up in a household loving my dogs, cats, and birds I envisioned working in Africa with chimpanzees. While my vision didn't manifest exactly the way I had fathomed, I still ended up working with baboons in Africa (2017). Along the way, I was an outdoor educator for several years working with all sorts of reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals, and invertebrates. I have been attracted to all types of animals since the day I was born. As a science teacher (8 years), I kept corals and saved many animals in the outdoor environment near our school (from squirrels to birds and much more). My husband and I have just moved from Chicago, IL to Florida. We have a love for adventure and curiosity for the great outdoors. We are happily married with our Cockatiel (Sunny) and Umbrella Cockatoo (Jack). I can't wait to meet you and love your pets for eternity! Along with my elementary education degree, I studied zoology. So, with that being stated, I'm here in Florida ready to meet new people, love your pets, teach, adventure, and learn all about Florida ecology! Let's connect! We live about 5 minutes from the Audubon Pennington Park where we love to take nature walks. I'm sure your dog wouldn't mind a nature walk too! We truly do enjoy hosting neighborhood pets as one of our very own family members. Your pet will receive unconditional love, constant cuddles, outdoor time, and food/water the way you prefer it! At night time, they can choose from our warm bed or their very own cozy dog bed. Your pet is top priority and we want to provide the best experience for them so that they are happy to come back and play! “Nika loved staying with Marion! She was very well taken care of and I'm so happy that I found Marion. She made my puppy feel very welcome and she kept me updated with the cutest pictures, so I didn't have to worry about Nika. When we came back, Nika was really happy to see us but also kind of sad to leave her new friend. She was also very tired after her little vacation and she slept great through the night! We will definitely leave Nika with Marion again in the future, we know our puppy will be safe and surrounded by great people. Marion was also very accommodating and it was very easy to set up meet-and-greet and drop-off and pick-up times. Her house is very well set up for dog boarding and that was a huge plus! Nika was able to hang out in a nice fenced back yard. I definitely recommend Marion to anybody who is anxious about leaving their dog even for couple of days - Nika is my baby and I understand the struggle!”
