About: Beginning in childhood, I’ve had several dog breeds (over 20!) that I’ve been tasked to take care of, play with, keep healthy and whose needs I’ve grown to pay attention to and understand. I adore animals and I approach them gently and mindfully, always considering what support will help prolong their lifespan and keep them happy, yet trained and behaved. My friends and family often call on me to either keep their pets company, train or housesit them, and I’m always more than happy to spend time with their animals. I firmly believe pets are not toys, and much more like our own kids, deserving of care, compassion, joy and attention. I have 17+ years experience taking care of and loving French bulldogs and pugs, who notoriously require extra responsibility, attention and instruction, as they can be stubborn and prone to health and breathing issues (often brought on by heat). I have cared for senior dogs who deserve nothing but love towards the end of their lives, and also puppies who need time spent on training and feeling safe, and lots of play and activity to stimulate their growing minds. I am a graduate student, with flexible availability between Saturday to Tuesday, during my off days, when I’ll be studying from home, often lounging and relaxing in my space. Having a pet to look after, feed and care for would not only be a very welcomed time commitment, but would make my space feel even more homely and bring me joy. About: I have always had dogs since I was younger, and after recently having a dog with extreme anxiety and going through her training with her I have learned a lot about the emotions of dogs and the way truly each dog requires different care and love. Being newer to Orlando I want to try to find a few families or people who need consistent help with a dog. These special fur babies who need the most attention are who I am trying to help with through time outside walking and getting fresh air. I am open to meeting and working with any sort of animal, just as long as we can facilitate and introduction before hand. I work a full time job remotely, so as long as I do not already have a meeting scheduled, I am able to be flexible with letting out your babies and taking them for a stroll. Weekends are fully available. I have a backyard and a single family home with plenty of room for running around and play. I have two dogs of my own, but if your pup prefers to be alone, we have a set up special for my pups to live in one section of the home during the time we are spending with your baby. Toys galore, and as many treats as parents will let them have! In your own home, I can do whatever you need me to do! Have a backyard and your dog loves fetch? Perfect! They have a two mile walking loop they adore? Just let me know! I want to keep them in their own routine as much as possible. I work full time fully remotely, so I am always in the home unless we are running errands. I walk my own dogs every morning before 9am, and would be happy to bring your pup into that routine. We have a fully fenced in yard, a six bedroom home and plenty of space for lounging dogs to rest. Since we have a toddler, we keep nothing unsafe for dogs or children on the floor so hazards are minimal to none.

About: I grew up caring for multiple large dogs and cats simultaneously. One of the two labs required extra care as he lost a rear limb when he was a puppy. I currently am blessed with a beautiful domestic long hair cat named Misty that has extra grooming needs and requires extensive daily brushing. My professional lifestyle allows me plenty of available time to meet the needs of any unique or variable schedules for both my own and your pets sitting and walking needs. I’m an experienced dog walker and actively engage with animals to keep their attention and gain their trust. For cats I groom and brush daily as well as reinforce positive behavior through praise training.

“Amanda was so welcoming and gentle when first meeting them! She’s a very active sitter and that was perfect for my dogs because they LOVE their walks and they love to play. She communicated multiple times throughout the day with pictures and videos and even let us keep a tennis ball! I would absolutely bring them back to her again. They loved their stay!”

There’s no doubt she will take wonderful care of your babies and she has plenty of space to keep them separated from other pets if needed.”

“Lisa was absolutely amazing! Not only was she good to our pup, when we made the trip over to her house to drop off Timber, our daughter was with us. When we first met Lisa, our daughter wasn't with us. Lisa invited my daughter and us into her home and was so sweet and kind. She asked my daughter if she had any questions about where Timber would be staying. She genuinely wanted our daughter to feel comfortable knowing where her best friend would be staying. It was so thoughtful and made a massive impact on me. As for how she cared for Timber... he had an amazing time and her communication was outstanding. Everyday we received photos and videos of Timber playing in the backyard, chasing balls and playing with other dogs. She even edited pictures with little thought bubbles as if Timber was having conversations with other dogs... we had so many fun laughs reading these. Towards the end of our trip, she sent us an entire slide show with all the images and videos she took of Timber while he was with her. In my opinion, she went above an beyond my expectations. I would 100% recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a great place for your dog to stay while you are away on vacation. Just don't fall in love with using her too much... we still need her when we go out of town. :o)”
