About: I have utmost respect (and lots of love!) for all animals. I truly view them as real friends and equals. With experience, I have also learned how to set and maintain good (and firm - when necessary) boundaries. Dogs have been trusted members of my family since I was a child. I have cared for senior rescue dogs; I have socialized puppies; I have taught reserved dogs new tricks; and I have taught stubborn dogs to sit and wait. About: I had a large sized dog for most of my life and grew up with her from the age of a puppy until she passed away my freshman year of high school to old age. She was a pit/lab mix and I loved running with her, cuddling when she was tired, and even allowing her to "play" with me while I do yoga. I have so much love for animals, as I believe they are true reciprocates of unconditional love. I would love to spend time with your animals while you need them cared for. I am an opera singer and voice teacher. Finally, I guess a special skill would be I love relaxation techniques such as yoga, music, sound healing etc, and animals are so attuned to these activities that I could even provide a healing experience for your pet :) Available any time! Was recently let go from my job as a yoga and music teacher in the public school system due to budget cuts, so I am available all day every day beginning this summer! Ive decided to take a break from public school teaching, spend more time singing and studying my voice / music. And take some more freelance type jobs. I am extremely compassionate and really like to provide that space for an animal to feel safe and welcome in my company. I like to build a relationship with animals and eventually find a language of communication where we seem to “get” each other.

About: I grew up caring for multiple large dogs and cats simultaneously. One of the two labs required extra care as he lost a rear limb when he was a puppy. I currently am blessed with a beautiful domestic long hair cat named Misty that has extra grooming needs and requires extensive daily brushing. My professional lifestyle allows me plenty of available time to meet the needs of any unique or variable schedules for both my own and your pets sitting and walking needs. I’m an experienced dog walker and actively engage with animals to keep their attention and gain their trust. About: I’m new to Rover, but not new to pets. I’ve spent years dog and cat sitting for family, friends, and people from my church while they travel so I’ve basically already been doing this, just without the app. Boarding is where I’m strongest. Whatever you’re away for a weekend trip, a long workweek, a stretch out of town your pet gets a quiet, pet free home and someone who’s actually paying attention to them, not just checking a box. It’s just me and my roommate here, no kids, no chaos, no other pets running around unless we’re talking about yours LOL. But if boarding isn’t what you need, I also do drop in visits and walks. A midday or evening walk for your dog, or a quick morning/night stop to feed and check on your cat while you’re out. My schedule’s flexible (I work fulltime but it’s not a rigid 9-5), so I can usually make mornings, evenings, weekends, whenever your pet needs me. I’m not the type to drop them off with food and a bowl and disappear for the day. I want to actually know their personality by the time you pick them up. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of pretty much every age and energy level, from the zoomies at 6am crowd to older pets who just want someone patient around and a quiet spot to nap. Routines matter to me too if your pet eats at a certain time, walks a certain route, or has a little quirk, I want to know about it and stick to it. I’ll keep you in the loop while I’m with them. Feeding on schedule, medication if they need it, litter box scooped, fresh water, the whole routine handled the way you’d do it yourself. Photo updates too, so you’re never left wondering how things are going. Can’t wait to meet you both and hear what your pet’s routine looks like. My schedule is flexible, so I’m available mornings, evenings, weekends, and throughout the week as needed. I take the time to learn your pet’s personality, preferences, and routine so they can feel as comfortable as possible. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether they’re staying in my home or I’m stopping by yours, I follow their routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, and any special instructions you provide. I provide a calm, pet free home for boarding and make sure every pet gets plenty of attention and care. I also send photo updates throughout their stay because I’d want the same thing if it were my pet. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands
“This was my first boarding experience for my 1 1/2 year old doggo. I was nervous and she was nervous. I needed more than a boarding option, I needed a family to care for my dog while I had to be out of town. That is what Kallee and Daniel provided, a family that loved her while I was gone. They went beyond what a boarding facility could offer and personally cared for my dog while she went through separation anxiety and missing her family. Sailor became the older sibling she needed and I received not only daily communication but updates and responses as I was going through my own separation issues from her. I couldn't have asked for a better home for my dog to be in while I was away. Their home is a perfect place for an active dog and they are the perfect family to care for an energetic dog especially one who needs support to come out of her shell while her family is away. I couldn't thank them enough for their care for my doggo.”
“Terrie watched our dog, Duke, for the weekend while we attended a wedding. She was so friendly and caring-and from the moment we arrived at her house she welcomed us and Duke with open arms. She sent lots of pictures over the weekend so we could see all the fun Duke was having! I never felt worried or anxious about leaving my dog with her. She's got a great home for the dogs too-with a huge back yard play space. I will certainly be contacting her again in the future if we should need sitting services. “Lisa took care of our pups for 10 days while we were on vacation. Our 13 year old had never been boarded before and so I wanted to find a home that she would feel comfortable in. I had visited a commercial boarding shelter in town and it felt like a pound to me and I knew they would both hate it! Lisa sent us updates and pictures every single day while they were there and though it wasn’t exactly home for them, it was the closest thing to home we could have asked for. They both had a great time, Plus the price was so much more reasonable than what the boarding facility was going to be. I will definitely be using Lisa again for boarding and some play dates for our 2 year old pup.”
