“Anas & Tate took great care of my dog. Izzy is a bigger fairly high energy Airedale. Anas & Tate had no problems handling his needs. Their setup is beautiful. I quite big fenced yard allowed for plenty of exercise while being totally secure. They kept me updated with cute pictures and videos during Izzy’s stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to rely on them again as the need arises.”

“Great services, highly knowledgeable, and will send lots of cute pictures of your dog to check in! Highly recommend booking with her, just don’t take all the time slots 😆”

“Our dog Kiki had a great holiday stay with Amanda! We loved getting a picture or video of our pup while we were away. Our dog enjoyed playing with other dogs and enjoyed the time in the fenced yard. We will definitely have Amanda watch our dog again when we go on vacation!”

“Danielle is fantastic. Very friendly and trustworthy. We left our 10 year old Golden Retriever with her for a week and got daily updates and felt very assured knowing Danielle was taking care of her. She opens her home to your dog and makes it feel like home for them. We will definitely be using Danielle for our pet sitting needs from now on!”

“Archie always has a great time hanging out with his bestie Michelle! I definitely recommend this sitter, as she always makes sure my dog gets the proper amounts of attention, playtime, and love!! Thank you Michelle!”

“Nina was the best with our two dogs! They both have their own quirks and she handled it perfectly. Our dogs loved their stay and we got updates daily on how they were doing. I had no worries about them while we were gone.”

“Adam was a great communicator and was great with our dog! He was able to accommodate a last-minute request for an earlier drop-off and sent regular updates about how things were going. Would definitely recommend him and leave Mochi with him again!!”

“Joseph took great care of our dog, Poppy. His entire family showed Poppy love & kindness the entire time we were away. I would highly recommend this sitter as your next go to!”

“Alistair and his family did a great job of taking care of Lacy. She got lots of exercise and attention and came home a tired but happy pup. This is the 2nd time they've watched Lacy and she was very excited when we dropped her off.”

About: I had my two fur kids for the last 14 years and they were my best friends! I am recently an empty nester from being a dog mama and I am missing the companionship. All of my friends say I am their go to Dog Walker and Dog Sitter 🐶🐶 when they travel so I figured I would meet more furry friends this way! I run my business and am fully remote so I can be available any day of the week and hours that are convenient for you. I would be happy to come take your pup for a walk during the day or if you need overnight visits, I can bring them to me.
“Joshua went above and beyond while watching our French bulldog. He kept us updated throughout the stay and made sure everything was taken care of. We will definitely be coming back! Thanks Josh!”

“Josephine and family took really good care of Shiloh my pup. Shiloh seemed to be living life and having loads of fun, he got his nails trimmed and a bath, 8 day's may have been a little long for him since he never experienced me being gone so long but, he played with other pups, overall im extremely impressed by the Love ❤️ this family gave Shiloh and he is now home lying on couch sleeping, tomorrow he'll be back to his home life, I'll definitely be checking for Josephine's availability from time to time.”

“I love that they always responded in a timely manor, their home was pet friendly and Riley had a blast. I really appreciated all the check-in’s and photos. I will definitely be rebooking when it’s needed!!!!”

“Lindsay did a great job taking care of our two pups! She is very friendly & our dogs warmed right up to her. She was also great at communicating & asking questions to make sure that she was meeting our pups needs.”

“Jamie and Kyle were the best dog sitters we have ever used! They loved our dogs like they were their own. I can’t say enough good things about them and I could tell my dogs were comfortable staying there when I went to pick them up. I will 100% use them again and would recommend them to anyone!!”

“Finchi's stay with Maria couldn't have been better !! She was very accommodating to his special needs. She sent pictures every day and some feedback to put my mind at ease. Maria and her husband have the perfect set up - a one story house on a fenced in property. Finchi is a senior dog and it was easy for him to navigate. We do not travel often, but I would use Maria again if we did. I highly recommend using Maria as she is a very caring and responsible household to leave your dog in. She cared for Finchi as if he were her own. ;-)”

About: I have taken care of cats for the past 5 years, and many friends have trusted me to take care of theirs, as well. One of my cats, Dwight (yes, from The Office), became obstructed about a year ago, and because I paid such close attention to all of my animals' bathroom habits, I was able to get him to the emergency vet before it became a "true" emergency. I have caught every single ailment in a timely manner since, and all of my cats are happy and healthy. I have had to give medication, and definitely know how to deep clean a litter box. I rescued 3 out of my 5 cats at around 4 weeks of age, so I also have experience in kitten-care and nursing them back to health.
“I’m always worried about leaving my cat Addie when I go on trips. Nicole was a terrific find! She was professional, sent daily photos/updates, and took great care of Addie. She even brought in all of my mail. I will definitely use Nicole again for future trips.”

“Brittany was amazing with our dogs. She was prompt, took our big boy for walks and sent us pictures everyday. She was also very understanding with our little old man and his special needs. We will be definitely be using her again.”

About: I’ve had the pleasure of owning cats through every stage of life, and I am comfortable with any age or breed. I am used to kittens, elderly cats, and grown cats, so I am ready for handling each need of the fur babies with care.
About: *I have been taking care of pets not only on a personal level for over 20 years but on a professional level as well for 10 years. I have prior experience as a veterinary technician assistant and can handle pets no matter what the situation may be. I have prior experience with senior pets or even pets with special needs. I of course have experience with pets that are full of energy and love to play. And we can't forget about the puppies who need help with socializing and potty training. I can also give baths, ear cleaning and nail trims as well just let me know. *All animals are unique in their own special way, they have things they like and things they do not like, while in my care I can promise that their care will be fitted to your fur babies needs while you are away. *I am always available to give your fur baby all the love and attention they need while you are away. I am available for drop ins, daycare, boarding just let me know the dates and times that you are needing and we can get it arranged. *I live in a house on a secluded 1.32 acres of land along with a large fenced yard. I have 2 small children as well but trust me I have experience with spicy animals as well as making sure safety is a priority. I have 5 friendly dogs that would love to have play dates or I can easily crate or separate my own personal pets or your pets (with your permission) if needed. If crating is not an option my house is set up to where I can keep my personal pets and your pets separated from each other without the need of crates. I also have plenty of toys and even a doggy pool to help keep your fur babies happy while you are away. I offer the option of pickup/drop offs being done but only by meeting outside, I do not want the fur babies to feel like I am taking them away from their owner. Thank you for your understanding and support in this matter! I am currently a stay at home mom. I have two beautiful children along with 5 very spoiled dogs that I consider my own children as well. I have a fenced yard and crates if you are okay with crating. I also have baby gates as well. If dogs need to have separation time that is understandable or if they need to be separated 100% of the time I can have that set up with no issues. Everyone's safety is 100% important no matter what.

Whether your cat is playful or more shy, I adjust to what makes them feel safe. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is well cared for in their own home.

Your pet will be treated like family in my quiet, pet-friendly 5 acre fenced home. Why Choose Me? 🐾 Retired: I am home all day, so your pet gets round-the-clock attention and care. 🐶🐱 Experienced: I've cared for pets with medical needs, separation anxiety, and special diets. 🏡 Cozy & Safe: My home is calm, clean, and free of young children, perfect for a stress-free stay. 💊 Medication? No problem: I’m comfortable administering pills or injections if needed. 📸 Updates: I’ll send daily photos and messages, so you can travel with peace of mind. Location: Minutes away from Devil's Den Spring, Blue Grotto and Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens. Let’s Meet First! I always recommend a meet-and-greet to ensure it’s a good fit for everyone. I’d love to get to know your pet’s routine, quirks, and how I can make them feel at home while you're away. As a retired pet lover, caring for animals is a natural and enjoyable part of my everyday life. I am home full-time, so your dog or cat will never be short on attention, snuggles, or potty breaks! My daily routine revolves around the pets in my care—morning walks or playtime, regular feeding schedules, quiet nap time, and evening wind-down cuddles. Whether your pet needs active play or a calm environment, I adjust my day to meet their needs. I also keep their routine as close to home as possible, including meal times, medication, and bedtime rituals. With no work distractions and a flexible schedule, your pet gets my full focus every day of the week. ***Minutes away from Devil's Den Spring, Blue Grotto and Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens. In my calm, pet-friendly 5 acre fenced home, your furry family member will be treated with the same love and attention I give my own senior Dachshund, Ginger. At 14 years old, Ginger is gentle and spends most of her day relaxing and napping. I maintain a clean, cozy space with no stairs or hazards, and I closely supervise all pets to ensure safety and comfort. I follow each pet’s routine—whether that’s a special diet, medication schedule, or favorite toy at bedtime. I only board one pet at a time (unless there are two pets from the same family) to ensure everyone gets plenty of one-on-one attention. Because I’m retired and home full-time, I'm always nearby to keep an eye on things, provide comfort, or just offer a warm lap and gentle ear rub. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority, and I work hard to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and right at home. ***Minutes away from Devil's Den Spring, Blue Grotto and Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens.
“Zakary was a wonderful dog sitter. They communicated before my stay as well as during my stay. They took amazing photos of my dogs. They have a wonderful yard in the front of the house with obstacles for your dogs in a very safe gated area. I would absolutely use them again during my next trip in Gainesville. Oh, and they gave my dogs, home-cooked chicken and rice with my permission.”

“Kimberly was amazing! She took great care of my dog and sent lots of photo updates. Bruno (my dog) has a bit of separation anxiety but she was able to redirect it well by taking him on a long walk and outdoor time, his favorite things to do!”

About: I treat every pet like they’re my own because I know how much they mean to you. I don’t just “watch” animals I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and little quirks so they feel comfortable, safe, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I’ve worked with both puppies and senior pets, so I understand how different their needs can be. Whether it’s helping reinforce potty training and leash habits for younger dogs, or giving extra patience, gentle care, and medication support for older pets, I adjust to what your pet needs. You’ll never be left wondering how things are going. I send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in good hands. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: Give your pet a stress free, loving experience and give you total peace of mind. Throughout the week, I stay flexible so I can accommodate different routines, whether it’s early morning visits, evening checkins, or multiple visits per day. I also build in time for updates, so pet owners always know how their pet is doing. Since I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, it’s not just a task, it’s something I look forward to, making it easy to give each pet the care and attention they deserve. I provide care based on what makes each pet most comfortable, whether that’s in my home or yours. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and quiet companionship, so they feel safe in their own space. I’m respectful of your home and keep everything clean and consistent.
“Miranda was great! She took care of my dog and three cats like they were her own. They came back clean and no worse for wear. She worked with my schedule and was very flexible. I appreciated all help and understanding!!”

“Paola was amazing with my pup, Poppie! I felt comfortable with her as soon as I met her. Kept me updated throughout the day with notes and pics! She is a great sitter! We will def have her take care of Poppie when we visit area again.”

“Cannot say enough good things about Lesly and Josh! They took such special care of my Lily. They were able to work with me and be flexible when I was stuck at work and couldn’t collect her right away. You can tell they truly care about the babies in their care ♥️”

“Maria and her family are VERY NICE. We were very worried at first since our dog has never been left with other people before but she made us feel at ease. Our dog was very happy and if we ever go back to gainesville again we will definitely contact her again :)”

“I am very happy with Teddy's recent daycare stay with Chair! Chari is communicative, flexible, and accommodating. Teddy was really taken with her and her boyfriend and even attempted to follow them into the house when they went to retrieve his things as they were returning from a walk. I was a little worried about what Teddy's behavior might be due to him being puppy with a lot of energy. Chari reassured me several times that everything would be fine, and it certainly was. I plan to use Chari again for daycare for both, Teddy, and my dog Lou. I highly recommend Chari for pet care!”

“Ever since she was a puppy, Lucy has gone to a corporate-type of daycamp. There she was in cage for a good chunk of the day. We were lucky enough to discover Ana on this website. Lucy has never been happier. She’s outside running with other dogs all day, she gets to play in the pools, and she gets lots of love and attention from Ana. I am so impressed with everything about the love and care of Lucy. We get photos and Ana communicates really quickly with us. We hope to be using Ana’s services for a long time. Definitely a five star resort for Lucy.”

About: I’m currently a PhD student looking for some additional doggo/cat loving time! Ive had pets since I was 5 years old. From birds, rabbits, chickens, and dogs, I’ve seen it all. I have a cocker spaniel, her name is Mia, so I’m pretty familiar with all the ins and out of dog parenthood and what is needed. I have a big home with a large backyard, which is perfect for fur babies that love to burn some steam during the day. I promise to treat your fur baby as if it were my own!! I’m currently a PhD student so I’m in lab certain days a week on a schedule basis. I mainly work from home majority of the days, and always home by 5pm latest In my home, I’ll treat your pet as if it were my own, obviously whole following instructions provided by the owner! I have no pet on furniture restrictions. While at the clients house, all instructions and rules will be followed. My main concern is to make sure your fur baby is safe, happy and well take care of!
About: ☀️ Summer Safety Advisory ☀️ Due to Florida’s extreme heat and humidity, dogs are at serious risk of heat exhaustion and heatstroke in as little as 10–15 minutes of exertion during peak sun hours. Because of this, all walks during late spring through early fall may be shortened or adjusted for safety and replaced with enrichment-based activities, shaded sniff time, or indoor play when appropriate. Your dog’s health and comfort always come first. 🐾 Pet Care Experience I provide thoughtful, enrichment-focused care that’s tailored to each pet’s individual needs, energy level, and comfort. My goal is not just to “get through” a visit, but to make sure your pet feels safe, understood, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a background in wildlife sanctuary rehabilitation and have served as an adoptions director, which means I’ve worked hands-on with animals of all temperaments, ages, and medical needs. I’m comfortable administering medications ( just not injections), managing multi-pet households, and supporting shy, anxious, senior, or special-needs pets. My approach to pet care is informed by ongoing education in dog behavior, body language, and force-free, reward-based training. I pay close attention to stress signals, pacing, and environment, and I adjust each visit accordingly. Whether your dog needs structured activity, calm companionship, or space to decompress, I aim to meet them where they are. 🦴 Bonus Enrichment Option I also manage one of Gainesville’s top-rated private Sniffspots, The Zoomie Zone, located in Midtown. This fully private, reservation-only yard is ideal for dogs who benefit from off-leash play without the pressure of public dog parks. Many clients choose to incorporate Sniffspot visits into walks or drop-ins as a way to provide safe zoomies, sniff-based enrichment, or low-distraction decompression time. If you’re interested in adding a Sniffspot visit to your booking, feel free to ask. Returning clients can also receive discount codes for independent bookings. Whether we’re heading out for a structured walk, enjoying shaded sniff time, or keeping things low-key indoors, I focus on providing calm, attentive, and reliable care you can trust. 🗓️ Schedule and Booking Process To make sure every booking is safe, smooth, and a good fit, I require a free 15 minute meet and greet for all new clients. This takes place at the location where care will happen and helps ensure your pet’s comfort, safety, and compatibility with my services. -Exceptions Cats and puppies under 5 months do not require a meet and greet -Returning clients can fast track bookings Please schedule your meet and greet at least 72 hours before your first requested booking so we have time to coordinate properly. After your initial meet and greet, you are all set for future bookings. If you move to a new home or apartment, you are welcome to schedule another meet and greet so I can learn the new setup. 🚶♀️ Dog Walks and Drop Ins I batch dog walks and cat drop in visits into efficient routes using flexible time windows. This allows me to reduce travel time while still providing thoughtful, attentive care. Dog care windows Standard visits typically occur between 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM Morning visits may begin as early as 8:00 AM Evening visits are available for dogs who need extra flexibility Cat care Preferred visit window is 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM If medications or strict timing are required, I adjust visits to meet those needs Dogs are typically prioritized earlier in the day due to restroom needs, but all pets receive the same level of care and attention. 🐾 Premium Boarding Boarding is a high end, in home service designed for clients who want a fully hands off experience. At this time, boarding is available only to dogs who already have an established walk or drop in routine with me. This helps ensure your dog is comfortable with my home, routine, and resident pets. While boarding with me, your dog will -Live in home as part of the household -Be the only boarding guest, receiving one on one attention -Receive daily enrichment and engagement -Enjoy supervised access to my private Sniffspot for play, sniffing, and decompression -Enrichment may include -Food puzzles such as West Paw Toppl meals -Nature walks or hikes in San Felasco, weather permitting -Field trips to quiet recreational fields when no other animals are present -Most dogs return home happy, fulfilled, and ready to nap. 🚨 Behavior Expectations and Safety The safety of my personal pets is a top priority. Dogs boarding with me must be comfortable around cats and respectful toward my personal dog. If a dog shows aggression toward any resident pets, boarding may be ended immediately. In these cases, care will be converted to drop in visits at your home for feeding, potty breaks, and companionship. 🚗 Premium Pick Up and Drop Off For added convenience, I offer a luxury pet transport add on. I can personally pick up and drop off your dog along my daily walking route No handoffs needed, simply leave your dog at home This service is priced to reflect the time, travel, and personalized care involved ⛔ Important Booking Policies -One free meet and greet is included for new clients -Additional meet ups should be booked as a walk or drop in to cover time and travel -All pets must be listed on your Rover profile prior to booking -You have 48 hours after the meet and greet to confirm your booking before the time slot may be released -House Sitting and Drop In services follow a 7 day cancellation policy If you have questions or special circumstances, I’m always happy to talk things through. In my home, pets and plants are family, and every animal in my care is treated with the same level of respect and attention. I understand that each pet has their own personality and needs. Some thrive on companionship, others prefer play, structure, or quiet encouragement. My goal is to be a steady, calm presence your pet can rely on while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or hosting them for a field trip at The Zoomie Zone, I focus on creating a safe, enriching, and low stress environment that supports both physical and emotional wellbeing. During each visit, you’ll receive a detailed update through the Rover Card, including notes on meals, potty breaks, mood, and anything noteworthy from our time together. Occasionally, if your pet gives me a particularly great moment, I may also send a favorite edited photo directly. Unless something truly needs your attention, I won’t interrupt your vacation, work trip, or conference. I aim to be both your pet’s advocate and your peace of mind while you’re away. Safety is always my top priority for both your pet and myself. If a pet displays aggression, severe anxiety, or behavior that creates an unsafe situation, I will still ensure their basic needs are met, including food, water, and potty breaks. However, I may shorten a visit to avoid escalating stress. This policy is in place out of care and caution for everyone involved. 🛏️ Crate and Confinement Requirement for Boarding For boarding stays, dogs must be comfortable with crate use or confinement behind a baby gate or similar barrier. This is a non-negotiable requirement. At night and during times when dogs are not being actively supervised, boarding dogs are safely confined. This allows my personal pets appropriate rest and space, and ensures all dogs remain safe when I am asleep or briefly out of the house. Crates or gated areas are used as calm, neutral spaces rather than punishment. If your dog typically uses a crate, pen, or gated area at home, please let me know their routine so I can keep things as familiar and low stress as possible. If a dog is not currently comfortable with any form of safe confinement, boarding may not be the right fit at this time. I’m always happy to discuss alternatives or help determine whether a gradual transition would be appropriate.
“Alexander was AWESOME. At the last minute he was able to dog sit my grand pup Dakota, when my daughter was not able to find care in Tallahassee. Finding trusting individuals to take care of your precious babies can be hard. Alexander sent us pictures and check in several times to keep us posted on her health progress.”

“Really patient with my active dog. She has plenty of experience with Healer breeds like my Tink and knows how to keep her entertained. Tink is a happier pup when Brittany spends time with her. Fully recommend!”

“Danielle was very easy to communicate with, and we are very grateful for the peace of mind she gave us in watching our dogs while my fiancé and I worked long shifts.
