She sent me multiple pictures and updates every single day, including photos of their walks, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She kept them a total of 9 days and the peace of mind I’m talking about she gave me while I was gone for the first time ever leaving them was beyond appreciated. When they ran out of food, she immediately reached out, asked exactly what I wanted, and went to get more for them. There was also an incident involving Reesie at the dog park, and Monica handled it incredibly well. I didn’t have cell service at the time, so she took the appropriate precautions and made sure Reesie was safe and okay first, then kept me informed as soon as she could. I was so grateful knowing their wellbeing was clearly her priority. She also picked up and dropped off both dogs, which was absolutely worth the additional fee, and she was extremely flexible and accommodating with my travel schedule. I felt like my dogs were genuinely cared for, not simply boarded. Pets are supervised, engaged, and treated like family, not left alone for long stretches. I care for pets the same way I care for my own kids: with routine, attention, and respect. I follow feeding schedules, exercise needs, and house rules closely. While I don’t have a patio, we’re five minutes from the dog park and take daily walks to nearby nature spots. Although my profile says I accept up to five dogs, the number I host depends on their size, individual needs, and behavior so I can give each one the care and attention they need. Please bring kibble in an airtight container labeled with your dog’s name, the food brand, and feeding instructions. Include a measuring cup and clearly indicate the amount per meal. If your dog eats something other than kibble, please pack it properly and label everything. Please chop raw food as needed and pack it in individual meal portions in sealed Ziploc bags, with storage and serving instructions included. I have plenty of chew toys and balls, but if your dog has a special toy or lovey, please bring it along. If they sleep in a kennel, I prefer that you bring their own, along with their bed or mat. It’s not required, since I have extra beds, but their familiar things may help them feel more at home. You’re also welcome to bring a T-shirt you’ve worn so they can have your familiar scent nearby while they wait for you to come back. I talk to the dogs in my care because I believe they understand more than we think. I often remind them that you’ll be back soon, especially rescue dogs who may have lived in different homes. I want them to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while they’re with me.
About: I’ve had a Cavalier King Charles for my whole life, the first one for 13 years and now my own for a year. He is my world and he gets along great with all dogs no matter size or age. I care for other dogs as if they’re my own and will always keep owners updated with pictures and/or text messages!! I have experience with giving meds, making food, feeding schedules, walking, potty breaks, etc. Let me watch your furry ones!! I’m currently in school Monday-Thursday from 7am-2pm and sometimes earlier, so weekends work better for boarding, however i’m willing to make it work. About: Looking for a pet sitter and/or dog walker? Look no further! Im available for dog Daycare and boarding, so during the stay of your four legged friend he/she will have plenty of space to run and play inside of our fenced in backyard. As soon as they arrive we will have play time for the pups to get to know one another as well as the pups to feel comfortable around myself. I do leave food and water out for the pups to eat when ready, unless stated otherwise by the owner. If there is any specific care routine the owner wants I will abide by those rules. About: I've always had pets growing up from turtles, fish, ferrets and cats and dogs! I have watched several of my friends and family pets. I am currently working from home 40 hours a week and can host a dog or 2 depending on size for daycare/boarding. I am also available for morning and evening check-ins and walks! I do work from home so your babies can come hang out with me and my puppers during the work day and play out all their energy! I do have a 1.5 yr old golden doodle who loves to play and stays home with me now that I work from home. We love to go on walks or go to the park.

We were sent regular updates and pictures of our dogs that kept us from worrying about them. They worked with us, so that we could visit and take them to the dog park on 3 occasions. The dogs went on regular evening walks and received lots of love. Chris and his wife went above and beyond and their thoughtfulness exceeded our expectations.
