“Betsy was very loving with my dog, Lucy! She communicated with me the entire time I was away, which I really appreciated! Her dog Frida, is now Lucy's new best friend. Betsy has a nice fenced backyard that the dogs were able to run and play out there. She also sent me picture updates and I could tell that Lucy felt right at home. I HIGHLY recommend Betsy and Frida as your next Rover option!”

“Michelle did a terrific job for MIllie and myself. Both Millie and myself were experiencing separation anxiety, and Michelle did a great job for both of us.. Lots of photos and email dialogue reassuring my wife and I that Millie was doing fine. Truthfully, I think Millie missed being there and took a little time readjusting to being home. Will definitely try and book Michelle when we back in Florida next year.”

“Stephanie and Elizabeth are amazing, they sent me lots of pictures and Toby always looked so happy which made me happy. They gave me updates and lots of pictures. Thank you so much 😊. I will definitely use them always. 💖”
“Eve is a great sitter! My dog, Lynyrd was well cared for. I can tell he really likes Eve and that means a lot. Eve follows my care instructions and sends photos. I never have to stress when Eve is sitting because I know he is in good hands! I would highly recommend Eve.”

“Ms lisbeth was an amazing puppy sitter! My baby boy Jax had so much fun & was in amazing care. She kept me updated & sent many pictures & videos each day! I was definitely comfortable with the stay. Please book with her you won’t regret it!”

“First time using Rover and Kym and Glen gave my dog a great home away from home. They regularly sent photos and promptly answered any concern that I had. I feel she the care she was given while there was top notch. Thanks to both Kym and Glen!”

“We LOVED how Danielle took care of our Josie. I think Josie loved her, too! We got several notes each day, with pics and an occasional video. It was clear that Josie was truly enjoying her stay. Huge thanks go to Danielle for taking on our 75 pound, energetic lab. High recommendations for her - but leave room on her calendar for future Josie visits.”

“Olga boarded Zachary for three days. While there Olga reinforced basic training, including commands. He seems happy and healthy with his visit. We are very pleased and will most certainly use Olga's services again.”

“Donna was a great host for our dog! I greatly appreciated the updates and pictures she sent along during the stay. Our dog definitely enjoyed herself and made some new friends along the way!”

“Our boy seemed very happy when we picked him up. Hope sent pictures throughout his stay and kept us updated. We had never left him with anyone besides family and close friends. We will definitely book with Hope again in the future.”

“I used Rover for the first time and was honestly a little skeptical because of past experiences. However, my original sitter had an emergency and recommended Rover, so I decided to give it a try. After reading countless reviews, I came across Alyssa and felt comfortable enough to book with her and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I met her, I felt at ease leaving my baby in her care. She was incredibly sweet, very communicative, and always responded promptly with pictures and videos whenever I checked in. What really stood out to me was how flexible and accommodating she was, especially since this was a last-minute booking she truly was a lifesaver. Most importantly, when I picked up my baby, she was so happy and comfortable. She didn’t seem anxious or like she was trying to rush out, which meant everything to me. I would absolutely book Alyssa again anytime I’m visiting Sarasota. Thank you so much, Alyssa!”

“Jewell is a true jewel!! My nervous pup flourished with her and her sweet pups. My dog is a singlet and isn’t around dogs a lot !Jewell’s pups welcomed her into their home and became great friends with my pup. I appreciate the socialization she received while staying with Jewell. We will be using her again. She is amazing, her home setup is perfect. Jewell is fantastic for nervous dogs. Highly recommended!”

“Absolutely fantastic sitter. Her and her family took amazing care of my girls. She kept me updated daily and even sent me pictures of all the adventures they had. My dogs are my only family and finding someone to care for them in my absence is very stressful. Elisa took all the stress away and showed my girls all the love I would have. Would 1000% recommend to anyone that is looking for a loving home for their fur babies. Thank you Elisa! I will be booking again soon”

“OUTSTANDING! There aren’t enough words to describe how fantastic Ali is. She cared for our German Shepherd for over two weeks. Each day, we received photos and videos and an update on how our dog was doing. She even went out on her own and purchased a small pool for our fur baby to splash around in. Ali had offered a meet and greet before booking with her so that our dog felt comfortable in her environment, and we knew right away this was a perfect match. If you are searching for the perfect person to care for your pet, Ali is the BEST. I wish there were more than 5 stars to give her because she’s that good. Trusting your pet to someone is such a personal choice, and we would not hesitate to recommend Ali. She truly is caring, professional, and can be 100% trusted with your pet. Thank you Ali!”

“Mikayla is wonderful! She’s so good with all pets, she just gets them. She cared for our 6 month old puppy and 1 1/2 year old and they were so happy. Great space to play and her dogs were kind and loving. We received photos and updates that allowed us to know all was well. Mikayla communicated beautifully when we reached out in need and was accommodating to our flight schedules. It’s comforting to have found her and we will certainly reach out again. Thank you, Mikayla and family!”

“We left our shy dog with viktoryia for 3 weeks when we were out of the country. My dog is a rescue and while a sweet girl, she only likes one person - me. She did very well because Victoryia has a way with dogs. She sent some pictures and videos and I could tell my shy little dog felt right at home. Your dear dog will be in good hands at this lovely rover home.”

“Stacey was wonderful, she was willing to work with our needy kitties. She put in so much effort to make sure she was able to do my cats asthma inhaler. Absolutely would recommend Stacey, especially if you have specific needs for your pets!”

About: I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, cattle, chickens, ducks, sheep, and pigs. I started showing animals at my county fair when I was 9 years old. I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life until I moved to Florida this year to live with and help take care of my grandpa. It would be a blessing to find some new animal friends to love on! I am currently working full time the at a Beach Resort as the Front Office Supervisor. My schedule is 3 PM to 11 PM so my mornings are free. If needed, I am also more than happy to swing by after my shift to walk/check on pets. I am unable to board pets at my house at this time, but I do not take going into other homes lightly. It is an honor that I treat with the utmost respect.

“I am extremely happy with the way Megan took care of my cat Reese while I was away. She wrote detailed messages daily and shared photos of them spending time together. I can tell Reese absolutely loved being with her! As a result, I was able to enjoy a stress free vacation knowing he was in such kind and capable hands. Megan will definitely be my choice for a pet sitter again!”

About: I have owned cats my entire life and have enjoyed every minute with them. I have no issues with cats who may not be the friendliest to strangers, they deserve just as much care as any other pet. Cleaning litter boxes, special instructions for food/medicine, and plenty of play time, are all things that I can do!
“I had a Great experience with Cymberly she was awesome. She quickly learned how to give my Stanley his insulin shots and she exuded such joy and confidence in taking care of my boys. I highly recommend.”
“My normally shy ex-feral cat was comfortable enough with Kaci to come out and visit with her every day, which says a lot! Very reliable and responsive and left great notes and photos with each visit - will definitely book again for my next trip.”

About: I’ve raised cats since I can literally remember. I grew up in the country, so there were a lot of barn cats around the property, and I remember just always being drawn to the cats. Nothing has changed as now I have 2 of my own little angel girls being spoiled and running my home. Cats have such unique personalities and their trust means SO much since they are not as easy to win over as dogs.
“Melanie is awesome. She truly cares about my babies and takes such great care of them while I’m out of town. I don’t have to stress because she is very reliable and trustworthy. Thank you Melanie!”

About: I am a retired RN who is currently without any of my own pets to love, so I plan to give my love to yours. I have been a pet sitter for Dogs, Cats, Birds, Rodents and Reptiles. As an RN I have many skills that transfer to pets and I use those on the pets I care for as well. I'm a keen observer and problem solver. I am available to do drop-ins, extended care in your home (with light housekeeping and plant care for additional fee). I am flexible in my schedule and can do long-term (more than 7 days) care if needed. I will be present for as much or as little as your pet requires. I've cared for animals from babies to seniors and can provide the appropriate level of care needed. I have administered injections, pills, topical treatments and wound care to pets. I'm here to care for your furry, feathery, scaly and shelly friends. One Caveat: Walking Dogs who are pullers is not my forte. If you have a large or Medium dog who is used to walking and can be corrected with gentle reminders is fine. I have no schedule limitations at this time. I can be available as little or as much as you need. For short or extended care. The first thing I do is have an in-depth meeting with you about your pet's needs while you are absent. Then I develop a plan based on their typical schedule for waking, feeding, potty, walking, sleeping and medicating. I will attempt to keep as close as possible to their normal routine. I am a gentle corrector unless the behavior or situation is dangerous to them or those around them. I give lots of cuddling and rubs if they want them and respect their need for space too. If they sleep with you, they'll sleep with me. I will follow your directions for their care as closely as possible. Basically, I'll treat them as if they are mine, but love them as if I was you.
“Michael was very helpful with my last minute cat sitting needs. He provided short but thorough updates each visit, and my cats definitely appreciated their playtime.”

“Alexandra did a fantastic job with our two cocker spaniels, including our energetic puppy. She spent quality time playing with them, took them outside, and made sure they got treats and attention. It’s clear she’s very comfortable handling both puppies and active adult dogs. Our 3 year old can be a handful, and she handled both of them with ease. We came home to two happy, well cared for pups. We’d definitely book her again!”

About: I have had fur babies my whole life. I'm mature, dependable, trustworthy, and love pets. I have the time, patience, and energy to give your furry family members the dedicated attention they deserve. I will prioritize their safety, routine and happiness above all else. My fur baby is a cat and her name is Cassie.

About: I’ve had cats my whole life — both indoor cats and indoor/outdoor cats when I was growing up on a farm. Over the years, I’ve cared for many cats in all kinds of situations: I’ve raised kittens, looked after mama cats (including a rescued cat who gave birth to a litter), and enjoyed the company of countless feline personalities. I love how every cat is unique, and I’ll make sure yours feels safe, loved, and comfortable — whether they prefer quiet companionship, playful attention, or just someone who respects their independence. Most importantly, I’ll care for your cats as if they were my own.

“Jewel was and is amazing with our pups! Sent many pictures of them so mom was very happy. One of our dogs tends to be very picky about who he stays with, he loved Jewel immediately. My husband and I couldn’t believe it. We will be booking with her again. They came home so happy and tried.”

“I believe our boys have found their new best friend! We have a couple of rescues and one of them is high energy, high anxiety. We really needed someone who could help him become more comfortable around other dogs—needed lots of patience! Tara is an answer to a prayer! We had two meet and greets with her dog, and we just picked them up from their first day of daycare. They did great and we are so happy to recommend Tara!”

He met every need that Cargo needed as well as taking care of all my requests or concerns. He brought cargo to the dog park twice and sent me pictures. If and when I go back to Longboat Key, Florida I will contact Justin to take care of my Cargo again.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with a natural connection to pets of all kinds. I grew up with Yorkies and cats, and today I share my home with two retired rescue greyhounds. I’ve also spent time around large breeds like English Mastiffs, so I’m confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I bring a calm, patient energy that helps pets feel safe and comfortable—whether they’re shy, senior, or full of puppy energy. I understand how important it is for your pet to feel at ease while you’re away, and I’m fully committed to creating that sense of home and routine for them. From administering medications to taking gentle walks or simply being a warm presence, I treat every pet as if they were my own. My love for animals started at a very young age—I even worked at a veterinary hospital at age 14 as a dog trainer, which gave me hands-on experience in caring for and understanding pets. That early passion has only grown stronger over the years. Pet care is now a natural part of my daily life. I start and end each day with walks and quality time with my two retired greyhounds, so caring for animals is woven into my routine. Whether it’s feeding, walking, giving medication, or simply offering comfort and companionship, I genuinely enjoy every part of it. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets the attention, care, and consistency they need—whether it’s daily drop-ins, overnight stays, or weekend visits. Making animals feel loved and secure is something I take pride in, and it never feels like a task—it’s something I truly love. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my goal is always the same: to make them feel safe, loved, and as comfortable as possible. I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding schedules, walk times, play preferences, and any special needs like medication or extra quiet time. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and keep things tidy and consistent, so your pet feels secure while you’re away. I take the time to get to know their personality and provide calm companionship, play, and affection based on what they enjoy. In my home, pets are treated like family. I create a peaceful, pet-friendly environment with soft spaces to relax, lots of love, and a routine that helps reduce stress. Whether they need extra snuggles, slow-paced walks, or a little patience, I meet them where they are—physically and emotionally.
“Adela was easy to work with and made our dog, Nala, very comfortable. Nala has separation anxiety and is usually very wound up and hyper when we pick her up from a sitter. This wasn't the case after her time with Adela. She was calm and didn't seem stressed at all. Nala didn't demonstrate any separation anxiety the second day we left her with Adela, which is uncommon for her, even with people she knows and likes.”

“Our little baby doesn’t get to play much with other animals and he had his first experience here and it went amazing. Tatiana was very caring. She provided amazing picture and video. We would definitely book with her again very soon. Thank you so much for being such a great help and provider for our little boy.”

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover who has been caring for dogs and cats since I was a kid — so pets have always been a huge part of my life. Honestly, I'm at my best when I'm among animals. 🐾 I've run a small rescue shelter for stray animals, personally funding all of its operations out of my own pocket — from caregiver salaries to food and medications. As a medical doctor, I was also able to personally administer medications and vaccines to the animals under my care, strictly following the vet's recommendations. That hands-on experience means I know how to spot when something's off, keep animals calm and comfortable, and give them the attention they truly deserve. Whether your pup needs a good walk and some playtime or your cat just needs a calm, caring presence while you're away — I've got them covered. I treat every pet like my own, and I'd love to do the same for yours! 🐶🐱 I am currently available for dog walks and boarding dogs or cats as I work as a freelancer. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and I am interested in providing care while getting some physical exercise alongside. For boarding pets, I have a condo where your pet is more than welcome. We can do walks in my gated community. A dog park is across the street from my community if your dog loves running.

“Stephanie and Elizabeth are absolutely wonderful! They understand and love dogs, and are terrific with them. Stephanie and Elizabeth have our highest recommendation.”

About: Working Wonders K9 officially began in 2024 but its roots run deep into the heart and the history of Kenna the owner. Throughout her childhood, she trained her pet dogs in obedience and could often be found learning agility and tricks with them side-by-side! As an adult, this passion lead her to train her rescue dog, Luna, as a service dog after developing an autonomic nervous system dysfunction that took away her safety and freedom. Under the guidance of a service dog trainer, she began learning the basics of training a working dog and found a calling. After apprenticing with a training company and spending much of her free time researching dog body language, training methods and training techniques, she opened Working Wonders K9 with the goal of making service dogs accessible to disabled individuals and helping pet parents train and build a strong relationship with their dogs. She offers knowledgeable pet care as well as training and support in obedience and behavior modification. I currently am attending school full time and have my own dog training business where I help clients train their pets in obedience and provide solutions to problem behaviors. During the day I have plenty of time to devote to pet care and making sure each pet gets the time and attention they deserve! I offer knowledgeable and experienced pet care in the clients home. I have a background in veterinary care and dog training and have devoted many hours to understanding dog’s body language in order to care for them better. I provide on leash walking and oversight in homes and backyards to make sure each pet is taken care of and gets the love and attention they need!
“Sky did an amazing job with my pup!! She was communicative and extremely kind. I’m very grateful for her care. It is clear she has a big heart and cares deeply for the animals she looks after.”

“I could not be happier with Michael's care!!!! Responsible, kind, caring! I love getting photo updates from my pup's walks. Thank you so much, I am so happy to know my sweet Flo is taken care of while I'm at work”

[small fee for meet & greets past 12 miles (~over 30 minute drive) for fuel, thank you!] Currently, my schedule is free! Looking to try to get into this full time, but anything dealing with animals is my focus! My schedule is very open right now and i’m open to anytimes! I will definitely get to know your pet first, go slow with them and just build a positive, playful rapport with them so they truly get to trust me. Anything you or your pet needs, please let me know and I definitely am so willing to make it happen! I care that your pet is comfortable and happy with me!!

I watch for changes in behavior and prioritize comfort, trust, and a low-stress environment. I currently work downtown Sarasota and spend much of my day walking and moving between locations. This makes pet walks and drop-ins a natural part of my routine, allowing me to provide reliable, attentive care and exercise for your pet. I follow your pet’s routine carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, and playtime. I make sure they have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a calm environment while you’re away. I respect your home, clean up after your pet, and follow any special instructions you provide. I also monitor behavior and wellbeing, so you can feel confident your pet is happy and safe.
About: I grew up on a Midwest hobby farm surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, and ducks, so animal care has always been second nature to me. Today, I share my life with a 5-year-old Belgian Malinois who was born blind. If you know Malinois, you know they are high-energy, intensely smart working dogs. You would never guess mine is blind! Raising and training him from a puppy required extra focus on safety, clear communication, and non-judgmental use of training tools, including Herm Sprenger collars and e-collars with vibration cues. Through consistency and patience, he now walks comfortably in a gentle harness with rock-solid basic commands, recall, and search skills. I share this because I truly understand that every dog has unique needs, training levels, and reactivity. You will never be judged here. My top priority is keeping everyone safe and comfortable while respecting the tools and routines that work best for your dog. Why work with me? Special Needs & High-Energy Expertise: From tiny companions to large working breeds, blind or special-needs pets, I have the experience and patience to handle them with care. Flexible WFH Schedule: Working from home means I offer consistent supervision, companionship, and routine adherence throughout the day. Safety & Peace of Mind: I prioritize safety above all else, ensuring your dog gets the physical exercise and mental stimulation they need without unnecessary stress. I genuinely love spending time with dogs, whether that means training, playing, or relaxing together. Most importantly, I will treat your pets with the exact same love, vigilance, and dedication I give my own! Because I work from home, my schedule is very flexible. I can easily adjust my day to fit your pet’s routine, whether that means walks, meals, playtime, or quiet companionship. I have ample experience caring for pets in their familiar environment. I follow your instructions carefully, keep your home tidy, and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life and am very passionate about pet care. I have experience with puppies, senior dogs, and reactive or behaviorally challenging dogs, and I understand the patience and consistency they need. I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter, so I’m familiar with routines and quickly building trust with new pets. I’m available everyday from 7 am- 10 pm, i’m also very flexible and understanding so for whatever reason if you needed me before or after those times i can work something out!! I am a quick learner, a great communicator and very detail oriented. Safety and follow through are very important to your pets and to me.
About: I have always been an animal lover. Growing up, I always had at least two dogs in the house with me. My parents always instilled never ending love for the family pets into me and nothing make me more comfortable than a furry friend by my side. While loving every minute of it, I would like to pursue that feeling again by working for Rover and taking excellent care of your furry friend. I work full-time at a local high school as a coach. My schedule is open in various slots in the day for dog care, and my job allows me to take care of any tasks I need to throughout the day as long as my work is not affected. I am usually off work by 5:30 pm and live just minutes away from work. I also do not work on weekends, so those days are full of opportunity. In your home, I will make sure the pets are safe and getting as much love, attention, and playtime as they deserve! When on walks, I will ensure they are a safe distance from vehicles and that they are cleaned up after.

I also have car transportation I do not offer sleepovers in my home due to be having my own furry companions. I have 5 dogs, a cat, a hamster, and a leopard gecko :)
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of every kind since I was 8. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I have owned a French bulldog. I’m currently not working, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 9.00 am. I have 2 wonderful children, 5y 7y. They love dogs and cats very much, we have always had a pet in our family. My family will do everything to make your pet feel like at home. He will be loved and cared for.
About: I have had all kinds of dogs all my life. Currently we have a border collie, 2 rough collies and 3 basset hounds between our two homes!! I have raised 4 litters and have trained my dogs myself. My border collie travels the world with me and has gone half way around the world and back. Can't imagine my life without her... I know how difficult it is for a pet parent to leave their babies and I will do my best to really bond with your baby so that he or she are happy during your time apart. My Border Collie, Izzy, is also a wonderful, weet natured, gentle dog who will be great company and comfort for your fur babies! My condo is set up with a patio the dogs can use and they are of course welcome everywhere in the house. I have a great dog park a short drive away where I can walk and entertain them when they need it. The people and dogs that come there are great and it is a very friendly and fun place. I also have a pen set up for closer supervision if necessary. And of course I am home almost all the time.
About: Since I was 10 family and friends have trusted me to take care of their pets. I have always held a special place in my heart for dogs. To me they are family and deserve love and time! I’m currently working part-time. I have more than enough time to spend playing and caring for your loved ones. I’m able to work from home, so I can care for pets days or nights! I have a fenced in yard and one friendly, handsome dog! He loves other animals and can keep your pet company if needed. I can also crate your pet if you prefer!

“Eve is a great sitter! My dog, Lynyrd was well cared for. I can tell he really likes Eve and that means a lot. Eve follows my care instructions and sends photos. I never have to stress when Eve is sitting because I know he is in good hands! I would highly recommend Eve.”

“So very happy to have found Audrey & Karson. Knowing that my anxious dogs are well taken care of is such a relief. I'm torn about giving them a good review because I want to keep them for myself. :)”

“Sarah and her family are the best at their job. I’ve never met more caring people who take the best care of our animals. They have gone way above and beyond and would never board my dog anywhere else.”

“Paul took great care of my dog. He was responsive and allowed flexible pick up/drop off times. He also sent pictures throughout the weekend to let me know Millie was enjoying herself. We will definitely hire Paul again!”
“Second time we’ve used Jessica! Drop off and pick up are very streamlined. Our pup was obviously well cared for, and we’re glad to have a sitter we like enough to use repeatedly.”

About: Your dog deserves more than a typical boarding experience—they deserve a calm, loving home where they feel safe, relaxed, and truly cared for. With over 22 years of hands-on experience, I provide a private, cage-free environment designed for comfort, attention, and peace of mind. I intentionally keep my care more personal and intimate, so each dog receives the time, affection, and supervision they deserve—something I felt was missing in many traditional facilities. Your dog will live as part of my home, not in kennels or behind closed doors. I’m with them 24/7, offering constant care, companionship, and a peaceful routine. My space is designed so dogs always feel included, even if brief separation is needed, using open, visible areas rather than isolation. I also have a large, securely fenced yard for safe outdoor play and relaxation. I am CPR certified and experienced in administering both oral and injectable medications, so you can feel completely confident in your dog’s health and safety. While you’re away, I provide regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your dog is not only safe—but genuinely happy, comfortable, and loved. My goal is simple: to give you the feeling that you never truly left your dog behind. Caring for dogs isn’t something I fit into my day—it is my day. I keep a small group so I can give each dog my full attention, carefully observing their behavior and well-being. This allows me to notice even subtle changes and respond quickly, keeping you informed and your dog safe, comfortable, and truly cared for at all times. In my home, dogs are never just watched—they’re truly cared for. I stay closely attuned to their needs, whether it’s noticing when they want to go outside, play in the yard, rest, or simply need comfort. I make sure each dog feels safe, happy, and understood, with plenty of love, attention, and a calm, secure environment throughout their stay.
