“We were visiting the area for my son's golf tournament. When we arrived at our "pet-friendly" vacation rental home, we were told that the owner does not allow pets to be left alone in the home AT ALL. We were so flustered and worried we wouldn't be able to leave the house to watch our son. Luckily, Shelley made this terrible inconvenience manageable by allowing us to drop off our dog at her home for a few hours each day while we watched our son's tournament. Shelley was super responsive, even very late in the evening, and cared for our dog as if it were her own. About: I only take in one pet (and siblings) at a time. I think it's less traumatic for the pets if there are not other animals around when they are separated from their family. I do everything that I can to make the experience fun and loving. I love both cats and dogs for different reasons. I’ve had pets my entire life until recently. Since most of my pets died of old age, I am experienced with geriatric pets and their special needs as well. I follow your instructions on pet-care. I've watched many dogs and cats in different homes with completely different schedules and rules. I am an early bird so if you have dogs, I like to walk early before it gets too hot. But again, if your dog is used to sleeping in, I can work with his schedule. I do this for fun as well as extra income. I only take up to two pets at a time and they must be siblings. I may take in a third depending on circumstances. Just ask! I am mostly home with the pets. I even have my groceries delivered! I go the gym most mornings for about 1.5 hours. I started pet-sitting to fill the void after my last pet died. I’ve been pet and house sitting professionally around the world since 2016. I board dogs or cats in my home in Port Charlotte. I love to travel and am open to pet sitting in your home anywhere in the world, as long as it's somewhere I'm interested in. I am always interested in Eagle Rock/Glassell Park, CA, as that's where my son lives. I am an early riser so I like to walk the dogs as the sun is rising and then again at dusk. I have a large fenced-in yard so the dogs have a lot of freedom, but I don't leave them alone outside. I am working on house projects so I am almost always around. I am accepting up to two sibling dogs/cats for boarding in my home. I prefer crate-trained dogs as they feel more secure in their crates and it's less traumatic for them to be left at a stranger's house. I am flexible on this depending on the age of your dogs. Most of the time, they are free. I am finding that most dogs just follow me around since I am actively working on the house. The house is fairly new to me so there are many projects to be done!

I feel I have a strong connections to our four legged friends and they always seem drawn to me. I am a yoga teacher with a set teaching schedule. This always for me to have a flexible morning and afternoon schedule to help with all pet sitting needs. Our home is a safe and peaceful environment for an our furry kid, Maxine. She roams around the home and has special spots for naps throughout the day. She even goes out on our screened in front of porch and pool lanai area ( with adult supervision). Everyday, Fresh water and food is always provided, along with a daily cleaning of her liter box. We play a lot with her many toys spread out throughout our home. My husband and I live peacefully lives, and this is the exact environment that we provide for our furry kid, Maxine. Along with lots of love and head scratchies.
About: I have had more than 15 years experience taking care of dogs, cats, and bunnies. I enjoy taking care of animals because they are just like babies, they need extra love and attention because they’re not always able to communicate their needs. So one of my greatest passions is making sure that every animal I interact with in any way feels loved, safe and happy! I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I’m available for same day visits or walks whenever needed. I can also come for multiple visits, give them any oral medications and anything else that may be helpful to you and your fur baby. I will be happy to care for your fur babies where they are most comfortable in their own home/environment. I’m very communicative so you will always know how your pets are doing and you will always be able to reach me at any time.

About: I've taken care of bunnies, parrots, chickens, dogs, cats, and turtles. I will always make sure that your pet is well cared for and loved. I’m currently not working so I’ll have plenty of free time to watch your pets, play with them, walk them, and feed them. They will be well cared for. I have a small part of my yard fenced but there’s plenty of space for your pets to run around. I have a 4 chickens that roam around but I will lock them up if needed and I have a small senior dog.
