He was recovering from an injury that had required stitches and Kelly was wonderful in making sure he had the appropriate activity level and administering his medication until he was completely well. Kelly was always accessible & responsive to texts, etc., & she provided us with much appreciated photos & videos of our boy while we were gone. Her property has plenty of room for exercise & play which is wonderful for all dogs, including a very active whippet. About: Hey pet parents! My name is Skyla. I am genuinely one of the biggest dog lovers you will EVER meet. I have had a strong passion and so much love for dogs since I was little. When your dog boards with me, you have the option to allow them to play with my dogs (I have had my dogs since they were puppies-they are very well behaved and friendly) or stay separate. Nothing wrong with solo play! Regardless of your decision-they will get SO much affection. I do require food to be supplied by owner so we can avoid any belly aches-but with owner permission, I will give them lots of dog treats. They will get lots of playtime in the yard & walks if you choose. This will be their home away from home! I can assure you-they will be safe, fed, and happy. All of the dogs I board get their own bedroom dedicated to them because I feel like dogs need a safe space when they’re in a new environment. Our yard is completely fenced in & the neighborhood is very safe. My personal dogs have their own bedroom. I have had dogs here before that the owner did not want them playing with my dogs so keeping dogs separate is not an issue if you wish. Feel free to ask any questions:) My dogs get daily exercise and play time & mental stimulation. Lots of walks around the neighborhood. My job is very flexible so I am home most of the time. I do have one crate available for your dog to stay in if you wish. My home is furnished with plenty of dog toys and treats, so your pup will always be occupied! Fresh water is always available. My pets are allowed on the furniture, so your dog will feel at home.

I'm open to meeting and discussing all forms of service ahead of time I have a flexible part time job that is generally from 9 - 4 Monday through Friday. These times are flexible so if you have a question about a particular day feel free to ask My 2 dogs and I walk almost everyday around our neighborhood just to get some adventure and smell some new fire hydrants. My house has a wood 6' privacy fence around the backyard and I have time to them out 5 or 6 times a day for bathroom breaks or to just run around an play. My dogs started being crate trained as a puppy but as they have grown older and more trusty we use them less and less. I use a lot of positive reinforcement and treat training to bond and build rapport. I feel comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes and would prefer to take care of new dogs in their home environment first. My dogs: I have a 6 year old 60lb female Portuguese water dog -- She's a big napper, cuddler and loves cats. My 3 year old, 30lb, male terrier mix is the feisty play pal that keeps everyone entertained.

Through those experiences I’ve learned that every dog has a different personality, routine, and comfort level, and I always try to make them feel safe and at home. I’ve also cared for senior dogs, including administering injectable medication to my own dog when she became diabetic, which taught me patience, attention to detail, and the importance of following care instructions carefully. Whether your dog is energetic or prefers a quiet environment, I’ll provide attentive care, regular walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of updates so you can feel confident while you’re away. Our schedules allow us to provide pets with plenty of attention and companionship throughout their stay. While there may be times when pets are home alone, we typically plan our schedules so they are not left alone for more than about 4 hours at a time. We plan around each booking as much as possible to maintain your pet’s normal routine, including feeding times, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and rest. We’re always happy to discuss your pet’s routine and supervision needs before. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I then worked at a dog boarding facility (Pet Paradise) in college so I have endless experience caring for all kinds of pets and farm animals. I am a mom to a 17 year old American Bulldog, 11 year old Corgi, 3 year old tripawd pup and a 21 year old tarantula. I work from home full-time M-F 9-5 with minimal an flexible meetings (also my husband is home by 2pm each day). This means I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies and keep them happy while you enjoy your time away! I have more than a 1/4 acre of privacy fenced yard with trees and squirrels to chase. About: I’ve always had pets and been around animals, total animal lover to the end. I am wanting to help out animals and of course, their owners! I am currently living at home and going to community college and I think this will be the perfect way to make money, I love animals and walking dogs, playing with them, and even just relaxing with them. I’m not the type of girl who likes to clock in so I would love to be able to spend time with your pets and make some money while I’m at it! Since I’m living at home and school is pretty close, I have quite a flexible schedule. My flexibility is another reason I think pet care will be prefect! About: My dogs and I have been through AKC certified obedience training I'm experienced in walking multiple dogs at a time Can housesit and care for dogs with special needs Providing positive reinforcement and tasty bribes is my main method of gaining trust with a new dog friend. I'm open to meeting and discussing all forms of service ahead of time I have a flexible part time job that is generally from 9 - 4 Monday through Friday. These times are flexible so if you have a question about a particular day feel free to ask My 2 dogs and I walk almost everyday around our neighborhood just to get some adventure and smell some new fire hydrants. My house has a wood 6' privacy fence around the backyard and I have time to them out 5 or 6 times a day for bathroom breaks or to just run around an play. My dogs started being crate trained as a puppy but as they have grown older and more trusty we use them less and less. I use a lot of positive reinforcement and treat training to bond and build rapport. I feel comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes and would prefer to take care of new dogs in their home environment first. My dogs: I have a 6 year old 60lb female Portuguese water dog -- She's a big napper, cuddler and loves cats. My 3 year old, 30lb, male terrier mix is the feisty play pal that keeps everyone entertained.
About: I’ve always lived with many cats and dogs my whole life. I’ve had a variety of pets of all ages including rabbits, snakes, bearded dragons, hamsters. I’ve also fostered many kittens and puppies and I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats, the majority rescues. I’m a huge animal lover! I am mostly a stay at home mom with 4 pets. We take the dogs on daily walks and sometimes to the park. We are always spending time outdoors in our spacious back yard with our dogs running around and cats climbing trees and roofs and such! I have 2 dogs and 2 cats both very friendly if spending time together! I also have a fenced in yard with a garden. I have a separate indoor petroom stocked with a couple crates (if needed for my big dog), enclosed cat litter boxes, a large cat climbing tree, plenty of pet food and treats, many water bowls and toys for all! And a very family friendly neighborhood for walks and a spacious (not fenced) park as well.

About: Hey pet parents! My name is Skyla. I am genuinely one of the biggest dog lovers you will EVER meet. I have had a strong passion and so much love for dogs since I was little. When your dog boards with me, you have the option to allow them to play with my dogs (I have had my dogs since they were puppies-they are very well behaved and friendly) or stay separate. Nothing wrong with solo play! Regardless of your decision-they will get SO much affection. I do require food to be supplied by owner so we can avoid any belly aches-but with owner permission, I will give them lots of dog treats. They will get lots of playtime in the yard & walks if you choose. This will be their home away from home! I can assure you-they will be safe, fed, and happy. All of the dogs I board get their own bedroom dedicated to them because I feel like dogs need a safe space when they’re in a new environment. Our yard is completely fenced in & the neighborhood is very safe. My personal dogs have their own bedroom. I have had dogs here before that the owner did not want them playing with my dogs so keeping dogs separate is not an issue if you wish. Feel free to ask any questions:) My dogs get daily exercise and play time & mental stimulation. Lots of walks around the neighborhood. My job is very flexible so I am home most of the time. I do have one crate available for your dog to stay in if you wish. My home is furnished with plenty of dog toys and treats, so your pup will always be occupied! Fresh water is always available. My pets are allowed on the furniture, so your dog will feel at home.

“Best of both worlds! Doggie Friends & People to be with. All the local sitters were busy so I looked near where we were vacationing ~ 900 miles away and found Megan. She set up a Google "Meet" and greet. Where she explained her setup & approach. She has two dogs and looks for 2 dogs that match well with hers. She was already boarding a young dog & was looking for an smaller older dog so she was excited to get my request. So I was fortunate not only for Desmond to play outside in a fenced in yard but it was also a great chance for him to be "one of the gang." And then when he needed a break to know that there are people near to sit by. I would recommend if you find Megan has an opening to take the opportunity and board your dog with her!”
