When I began college I got a job working at our local petstore which taught me so much more about caring for pets. About: I have taken care of my family and friends animals since I was 14, I am now 20 and have worked with Animak Enforcement for a year at the LCSO. I have also volunteered at many Animal Shelters! I’m currently available at any point in time, animals fit into my active routine as taking on walks and caring intensively is something to look forward with me! I cannot do boarding at my home due to mom and sister being allergic :( I plan on having an animals sanctuary when I move out!

About: I have experience with dogs of all ages from puppies to seniors, and I can even administer medications, if needed. To me this won't just be another job or a check-in, I want to get to know your dog, cuddle them, and have playtime with them for enrichment. Puppies each have their own personalities and I have taken care of pups with challenging and sassy personalities, including my own 6 month old coonhound who is super independent. I can train puppies, so if you are working long hours and need help with potty training, crate training, or mastering basic commands such as sit, I would love to help you with that while I'm there! My schedule is currently open for the entire summer, Monday through Sunday. If I am needed early morning hours or late evening hours, I am also open to discussing this. During in-home check-ins for dogs, only with your approval, I will give your pup treats for training purposes. Typically I will use single pieces of your dog's kibble to motivate them in learning commands. When it comes to cats, if you are hiring me to take care of your cat while you are gone for work or a trip, I will treat them as an indoor-only cat, no exceptions.

About: I have 5 animals of my own 2 dogs 2 cats & a ferret. My sister has 2 cats as well as a family dog. I love them with everything in me. I’m looking to meet more people in my community & to get to know the area. Through this I’m hoping to make not only human friends, but a bunch of furry friends as well. I bathe my dog once a week. My cats getwet food twice daily along with other nutrients from vitamins. they all run around & are extremely healthy.

“This was the first time we left our dog with a sitter and Kayla made the experience extremely pleasant. Kayla has an awesome personality, communicates well, and is very responsive. We previously used a dog hotel when we went on vacation, but upon our return I noticed our dog very sad and it would take him a few hours to go back to his old self. He’s a rescued dog, so it may be that the environment with other dogs brought back memories. However, when we picked up our dog from Kayla’s he didn’t have that quiet/sad period. It seems like he had a great time and felt right at home. Kayla sent pictures/videos daily, so we could see him.”
