“Sylvia was a perfect fit for our dog. Daisy tends to be a little shy but was best friends with Sylvia within an hour.. if that. Sylvia was great at sending me pictures throughout the day of my furbaby. Daisy looked very comfortable and relaxed. When I went to pick her up, Daisy had already claimed Sylvia as her person and did not recognize me for about 15 seconds..which felt like a lifetime. Although I felt alitte jolted..it showed me that my dog really liked Sylvia and that..my friends..is priceless. Thank you once again for becoming my dogs... person.. while we are on vacation.”

That quickly went away as soon as I met her and saw the beautiful “summer camp for dogs ” that is her home! Her property is huge for the pups to run around and play. I had some last minute changes including being later on pick up time due to traffic. I got up to date pictures and reassurance that he was having a great time. I highly recommend treating your pup to this sanctuary! I do have cats and a dog of my own, but your cats will be kept completely separate from them. Your cats will have their own private bedroom upstairs, where my dog is not allowed, giving them a quiet and comfortable space that is all theirs. About: Growing up I have always lived helping others and even helping animals. As a young kid, I grew up surrounded by all kinds of animals. Although my college plan is to become a special education teacher, I have always had a passion for animals. I really enjoy giving animals a voice and creating special bonds with them. About: FYI--Recently retired from the Federal Government. I did a Katrina mission to offer counseling to those who lost their homes. However, I was asked to volunteer in a pet shelter because the pets were abandoned due to the crisis at hand. It was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I figured I could do it, if I didn't look the pets straight in the eye (to prevent the heartbreak and the tears from flowing). Well, one little doggie who was in the corner of her pen shaking and shivering, grabbed ahold of my ankle as I was walking out of her pen (after cleaning it and feeding and watering her) and she wouldn't let go. She dragged her little butt along the concrete flooring as I tried to close the gate. I broke down into tears immediately and said "okay, I'll take you home with me and the cat in the pen next to you". Yes, I rescued them both... Or should I say they rescued me..from Empty Nest Syndrome. They have brought so much love into my life! My Mississippi Mud Pie (Boston Terrier) has now gone to Doggie Heaven and I want to provide love to other's pets in honor of her memory. My schedule has recently opened up more since retiring from the Federal Government, and I have a lot of time to devote to other's pets and animal care. When a dog is in my care, I provide very frequent walks and cater to your pet throughout the entire time they are with me. I like keeping animals happy and content. I provide a safe, trusting and caring environment. I am very nurturing and provide excellent care and attention. I am very attentive of animals needs.

About: I have had 4 dogs, 1 chessie, 2 huskies and 1wolf-husky hybrid! I don't mind big playful pups but I can also appreciate the gentle lap dog even if he/she is 60 pounds(every dog is a lap dog) I'm just looking to make some extra money doing something I love. I have house(and pet)-sitted for many families in my neighborhood and even have keys to their homes full time because they found me so trustworthy. I love running around the yard, taking long walks and even just sitting around and giving dogs a good pet. I'm not opposed to going to dog parks AT ALL and will honestly probably fall in love with your dog I’m a full-time manager at a restaurant at the beach. However, I love the opportunity to get out and do things that I love in that includes pets. About: Owner of two Huskies. My sister has two dogs she trains for agility contests. My friend competes in dog show contests. I love dogs and they love me. I am available 7 days a week. At all hours of the day. Including Holidays and weekends. responsible and always reliable to show up and care for your dog. I currently do not have any dogs in my house. when I had two Huskies I always took them for long walks in the woods on a trail. Even went in the Lake to pull one out that the edge was to steep. Rescued one from an angry beaver.

Not only was she a delight to communicate with, my dog clearly loved her and her home, The pictures she sent of my furbaby showed him undeniably smiling ear to ear. She is a little bit off the beaten path which is exactly why I chose her as we were on our way to Rehoboth. It was an easy and short detour to drop our little buddy off on our way. Her place has plenty of shade, fencing, and other pups for my dog to enjoy. I will definitely be rebooking with Megan W in the future!”

“Marvina was absolutely amazing and so accommodating! This was the longest I had left my rescue pup. (1 week) I was nervous for sure, however! That quickly went away as soon as I met her and saw the beautiful “summer camp for dogs ” that is her home! Her property is huge for the pups to run around and play. I had some last minute changes including being later on pick up time due to traffic. I got up to date pictures and reassurance that he was having a great time. I highly recommend treating your pup to this sanctuary! I will absolutely be using her services again and possibly work out a joint custody arrangement! 😂 My pup seems depressed now that he’s back home. Thank you again!!!”

My minature dachshund was welcomed into Chris's family for the Christmas holiday allowing me to travel out of state for 1 week. “Bob was fantastic and his location is very convenient if you're staying in OC and can't bring your pup to your hotel. He sent lots of videos and photos throughout our stay, which we really appreciated, and he even gave our dog Lila some special gifts and treats.
